John asked max " so how much should I eat? I mean I don't want to eat too much, and you can't handle it". "That's a fair point john" Max replied. He has about half the fish left. Catching more is not an issue so why am I eating alone? john ponder to himself. He looked over to the crow sitting on the unique tree, "want some?" caw the crow replied while quickly it glided down landing on john's shoulder. He looked at the crow, while I don't mind you using my shoulder as a Pearch, but while having a meal its proper to have a seat next to me, not on me. The crow tilt's it's head slightly. As if understanding johns' point, the crow then landed beside him. John smiled brightly "ok then, I will let you try my cooking." he cut off a small slice of the fish. Here john grabbed a small flat rock using it as a serving tray. As soon as the plate of fish was set on the ground, the crow ate the fish in one bite. john watched the crow, wanting to see its reaction.
But right then max interrupted john's ponderings. "John, I have a theory. So, the fish you ate has energy, but also it has impurities. "Impurities?" max continued, "while it has some. I can break them down with the energy that is also in the meat. Creating more nano bots that are already now in your blood." "Wait where did the nano bots come from?" John asked. " I'm not sure john. my guess is when we came here, since you made me, coded me, and was using me when that lightning struck you. That's why I came along. It's also the reason why we are also soul bound. Just like your fly-rod." "The nano bots that are your body. So, when you would before, go into augmented virtual reality. now instead I can use them to help prosses sensory date. so basically, it would slow your view of time flow. them more food you eat them more I can make. At first it will only last 1 sec. and you will need to eat to replace the stored energy that would be used. The nano bots are also like battery cells then more you have the more you can store. this will also let you gain a longer time duration then more you have. So, I suggest you train here a few days. then at least you get adjusted to your younger body." John agreed with max's point on training a few days before seeing where the river would bring him.
Johns next few days was relatively quiet, Except for an occasional caw of the crow. John would do push-ups, sit-ups, Lunges, and any other exercises he could think of. With his younger body john found he truly enjoyed the feeling of getting stronger each day. After a few days john wanted to understand this world better, so he needed to find a city. John figured if he just followed the river he would come to a city at some point. Before leaving the place, he called home for the last few days. When john left, he decided to leave a fresh cooked fish for the tree that gave him shelter.

As john started following the river, He kept to his new routine of practicing martial arts and fishing. As he walked, he would have max scan the different plants he came across. John found some cool looking plants that gave off a lot of spirt energy. Since he was not sure of what the plants might do, for some reason he felt that would be too much like a cow grazing some grass, compared the fisherman he was. John was getting much better at his feeling for martial arts. One night while cooking he thought about the different cultivation novels he read in his past life. He didn't have a system, but he had max. While thinking about cultivation novels he remembered a swords man that he really liked that wore a straw hat. After thinking for on it for a little while he thought he might look good. "Hey max do you have any data on how to weave a hat? "Sure" max replied. "I have a basket weave that I can modify. I have a couple of styles I can display." John picked on that looked like Raiden from an older game he used to play as a kid. He wasn't sure what people even looked like here yet. He just didn't want to freak people out with his eyes.
About a week later, john caught a glimpse of a very, very, large walled city. The river flowed into the city and disappeared under a wall. John was shocked. The first thing he saw was an elf. Log straight blond hair, pointy ears and all. beast kin, dwarves, and elves, and of course humans. John thought he was in a cultivation novel not a fantasy. John walked with the flow of people into the city. He heard a guy talking about some talent test that happens once a year. "My boy is sure to get into the academy, he just turned 15. I trained him his whole life. Well at least worse case I'm sure the fighter's guild will want him." He'll be fine." a man standing next to his replied. After hearing that john though "I wonder what my talents are. Well, I guess there is only one way to find out. Besides I need to find out more about this world."
