----------------------------------------
Jeanne is a poor villager from the countryside.
She is part of the member of the Lorca tribe situated in the Sacae plains.
Her village has been destroyed by the bandits living near the region and after migrating to the Sacae plains, where she met Lyn and became part of the Lorca tribe.
The Sacae plains is a home to nomadic tribes. They are famed swordsmen, as well as horse riders who usually fight from horseback. Saceans are also known to never lie, and to always keep to their word. This makes common people and villagers that came from others places trust the Saceans. Lyn was trusted by most of the villagers. But on the other hand, the nobles exhibit racist behavior towards them who believes the tribes living there to be unfit of claiming the land of the Sacae plains as their own territory.
The Sacae plains is famous for their Nomad, Archer, Myrmidon and Druid within the three famous tribes that currently leading the Sacae plains, the Lorca, the Kutolah, and the Djute.
The Kutolah tribe was one of the most powerful tribes in all Sacae. It was led by the Silver Wolf Dayan for many years. When Biran invaded Sacae, the Kutolah was one of the only clans to rebel against them.
The Kutolah clan was allied with the Lorca tribe before they were destroyed by the Taliver Bandits. After the war against Biran, Dayan retired as Chieftain and gave the title to Sin, the guardian of his granddaughter, Sue.
The Djute tribe was the second largest and powerful tribe in Sacae before they were nearly wiped out by Roy's Army. Prior to this, the Djute tribe sided with Biran to gain more power and to wipe out the rival Kutolah tribe.
The leader of the Djute tribe was Monke. They lived primarily in the western portion of Sacae on the Etrurian border and were the keepers of Hanon's Gale Bow, Murgleis.
Today, the Kutolah and Djute tribes got a report from the nomads who was monitoring the Sacae plains others tribes. Apparently 'Batta the beast' from the Ganelon bandits attacked the Lorca tribe.
The Ganelon bandits are a group of bandits that recently appeared near the Sacae plains. They were bandits that was attacking small village and pillaged everything inside the village, womens included. They then sell it to the slave trader that was working for them and it has been one year that this groups of bandits were roaming near the Sacae plains without worry. Their Leader, Migal decided to make a basement in the mountains and decided to regularly invade the village situated in the Sacae plains as his new slaves' treasury.
Sadfully, Dayan, chieftain of the Kutolah clan, couldn't help the Lorca tribe because their military forces weakened these past few years. Not only that, he was also monitoring the Djute tribes who were scheming against them. Dayan didn't want to broke his promise with the Lorca tribe, after finally making his decision, Dayan sent his one of his men, Guy.
Guy is a confused swordsman from Sacae's Kutolah tribe who wishes only to be the greatest sword wielder in the world. He will do what he has to do to survive. Guy is very jumpy and stutters often as denoted in his supports with Rath, Dayan's son. When Guy first heard about him being sent as reinforcement, he was happy. He was finally able to participate to his first battle experience. He was still young but he was aiming high. Guy also knew from Jeanne's letters that she was living fine in the Lorca tribe. She was her childhood friend since young and when he learned that her village has been destroyed he really worried about her. Guy regretted that he couldn't protect her that time. Now that he learned that bandits are attacking his village once again, how can he even not worry about her?
Thus, he departed to the Lorca tribe's village without wasting anytime.

Once Guy arrived near the village's entrance he was shocked. Huge smoke was escaping from the village and the village was burning. He knew about the fame of the Gamelon bandits but he never expected this. Every house was burning, piles of corpses were lying on the ground.

It was truly a horrible sight to watch. Gladfully, Guy was an orphan and he suffered this kind of massacre more than he could count. He was used to it. Once he regained his calm, he quickly searched around the village but couldn't find Jeanne's whereabouts.
He noticed something strange, normally bandits won't try to kill women, but all the corpses he found was mostly aged-man and aged-women. No children nor adults died in this incident.
Guy knew that the Lorca tribe suffered a lot and know only Lyn could manage the village, so how could they escape from those bandits? Guy wasn't smart, so he didn't know what to do and was at loss.
Fortunately, after searching around the whole village, he founds a letter in one of the village house. It was the letter that Guy sent to her. After searching the whole house, he finally found a hidden letter under the drawer. He quickly took out the letter and started reading it.
----------------------------------------
To my dear friend, Guy.
I know that you were probably worried about me so I write you this letter.
After the bandits' attack, Lyn-sama decided to move to the capital.
With all the villagers, we followed her to the capital. I hope to meet you again there.
Jeanne.
----------------------------------------
Once Guy finished reading the letter, he directly headed without waiting to Bulgar, Sacae's capital.
* * * * *
Bulgar is in the North-East of the Sacae plains. It is the largest city in Sacae and a major center of commerce between Etruria, Illia and Biran. It is renowned for being a free city without a ruler, despite being a capital city.
Lyn visits Bulgar together with Akira to prepare for their journey.
They finally traveled the whole Sacae plains after defeating the bandits that attacked her village.
"Akira! Over here! This is Bulgar, the biggest city in all of Sacae. We should purchase supplies for our journey."
"Yes, yes stop being so agitated... What are you? A 6 years old child?"
Akira was sighing deep in his mind. After experiencing the life-and-death situation happened at the Lorca tribe village, he decided to take villagers that could fight and drag them with him. He never thought that the villagers inside the Lorca tribes was composed of more than a hundred of people. Even so, he decided to pick few of them with him and after they finally arrived in Bulgar, he only took few people that could fight with him. Right now they were looking for the supplies for the journey. Suddenly a voice could be heard from the side.
"Oh, my heart! What a dazzling vision of loveliness!"
"Hm?"
Lyn turned her head towards the voice. It was a beautiful looking knight with green armor gear. He walked towards Lyn while starting a drama comedy.
"Wait, O beauteous one! Would you not favor me with your name? Or better yet, your company?"
Lyn that still didn't knew what this buddy wanted from her and asked.
"Where are you from, sir knight, that you speak so freely to a stranger?"
The beautiful looking knight was trying to find the goods words and tried to appeal her.
"Ha! I thought you’d never ask. I am from Lycia. I hail from the Caelin canton, home to men of passion and fire!"
"Shouldn’t that be 'home to callow oafs with loose tongues'?"
Lyn corrected him without understanding what he was talking about.
"Ooooh… You’re even lovely when you’re cruel."
After finally noticing that he was trying to flirt her, she finally turned her head and left while showing a disappointed expression.
"Let’s go, Akira I have nothing more to say."
The knight who noticed that Lyn wasn't affected by his charm panicked.
"Wait! Please…"
Suddenly, another knight appeared.
"Sain! Hold your tongue!"
The knight that had appeared next to him was as handsome as the other knight, he was wearing a red amor gear with brownish-orange hair. When Sain finally noticed that Kent was next to him, a complicated expression was shown on his face.
"Ah, Kent! My boon companion! Why so severe an expression?"
As Sain had said, Kent was next to him with a severe expression and was shouting at him.
"If your manner were more serious, I wouldn’t have to be so severe! We still have a mission to complete, Sain!"
"I know that. But how could I remain silent in the presence of such beauty? It would have been discourteous!"
Sain who leisurely answered while looking at Lyn who was leaving said.
"What do you know about courtesy!?"
Kent retorted.
"Excuse me! You’re blocking the road. If you would be so kind as to move your horses…"
Lyn who noticed that she went to the wrong way came back and said. The knight directly bowed as apologize and move the way.
"Of course, my apologies…"
"Thank you. You, at least, seem honorable enough."
After hearing Lyn answer, he finally turned his head and glance at Lyn then suddenly ask.
"Hm? Pardon me, but… I feel we’ve met before."
Lyn tilted her head and ask as if she didn't heard what he actually said. There is no way Lyn who never traveled until now could be famous.
"I beg your pardon?"
"Hey! No fair, Kent! I saw her first!"
Sain who misunderstood Kent's behavior complained. Lyn who could finally no longer listen to them said.
"Tsk! It seems there are no decent men among Lycia’s knights! Let’s go, Akira! I’ve run out of patience!"
Obliviously, Akira already knew who those knights were. He was just laughing in his mind until now and slowly followed Lyn as she left.
"Wait, please! It’s not like that! …… Sain, you lout!"
“Huh? Not like that? I thought you were…”
"I am NOT you!!! Come, we must follow her! I suspect she might be—"
Noticing that both Lyn and Akira already left the place Kent also followed them.
"Be what? She’s our mission? You’re joking! Wait!"
