I awoke, the first thing I saw was the red sky above me. My new body had been placed outside the front of a building. The owner of the shop came running out with a broom shoving me away shouting in a foreign language he must think I'm homeless. After running away from the shop keeper, I took a moment to look at my surroundings to get my bearings. Then I remembered the fairy and book God gave me before sending me off. I began patting my pockets until I felt a small bump and pulled the little fairy out. She looked a little flustered and started to try and fly away.
"Hey, God gave me you, so I'm your master."
The fairy was only about four inches tall with vibrant blonde hair. She stopped fighting, so I placed her on my shoulder, she was small and light as a feather. The buildings surrounding us were made of wood and stone, people walked around with swords and armour. Rayliv was very under developed compared to earth. But what town was I in?
"know where we are?"
I asked the fairy who seemed to have a bit of an attitude.
"you are in the kingdom of khaken, a country which has lost much of its territory in the wars and is currently a level one kingdom. more precisely we are in the town of renewal which surrounds the castle of Thomris."
Though she didn't seem to like answering the question she gave a very detailed answer to my question. I only just realised that I didn't have any money and I still wore the clothes that I died in, a suit and tie which didn't match with anyone else's clothes and they were rather large on me considering my change in gender. Also, where is the book God gave me with the history of the continent. I began looking around anxiously.
"you left it in the bag back at the shop you ran from."
The fairy said picking at her teeth. I ran back to the shop and saw the man who shoved me away with his broom looking through a brown leather satchel. He pulled the book out and looked excited.
"Hey, buddy that's my shit put it down."
I said walking closer to him, he just chuckled and rolled his eyes, he didn't seem to know what I was saying. I started to pull the leather satchel, but he tugged back.
"Ken vad khafin!"
He shouted, the language was very rough. Apparently, he didn't want to give up the book and satchel, so I let the bag go and placed my fingers close together and began concentrating on making a ball of fire. Then a small ball of fire appeared at my fingers; the man looked scared, he dropped the bag and ran away. I swung the bag over my shoulder and began to walk away, but the shop owner was back and with a few heavily armoured guards. He wore a broad smirk on his face like a badge of honour.

"Kenvad khacha rishanken!"
One of the guards shouted brandishing his sword. They wouldn't understand me even if I explained the situation, so all I can do is run. I began running toward the centre of town with the fairy holding onto my clothes with all her strength trying not to fall off. A lot of people were wondering around the town plaza buying and selling different objects. I looked around for a large group of people, and to my delight, a large group of people were surrounding a street performer.
"Vadken edaken vadken thi, vad vi vadken yokenthieye jizi ith vi vad!"
The man in the centre of the crowd wearing a tailcoat and a large hat shouted. Though I couldn't understand the language, I knew he was trying to over hype the performance. I hid in the group of people trying to keep a low profile, but my clothes could give me away at any moment. I began looking through the satchel for the book and found a small purse full of copper coins and a few silver ones. I then found the book and pulled it out and started looking for an English translation section. To my luck, there was, the language was apparently called Kenhanvad zhieyethiken meaning Language of the Emperor.
I tugged on a near by persons robes and started to read from the book for a simple translation.
"where clothes store."
I asked trying my best to pronounce the rough words. The man laughed seeing me struggle to speak the language. He pointed towards a small shop on the very corner of the street I just came from. Slowly I walked towards the shop trying not to attract any attention especially not from the guards. I managed to make it inside the store and to my surprise very few people were inside, and only one person worked the counter. He stood there with a smile on his face and walked towards me.
"Zhi kha vi rekke?"
He seemed to be asking a question. Flipping through the translation section as fast as I could, I found out he was asking if he could help me with anything.
"cheap clothes?"
I asked with a half hearted smile, he looked slightly disappointed but kept the smile on his face anyway. He brought me a few pairs of simple shirts, pants and dresses that looked to have been previously owned.
"changing room?"
He leads me to a small room that was covered by a curtain and contained a stool and a large full body mirror. He bowed his head and walked back to his counter. I closed the curtain and started to look at the clothes. The dresses were a no go, I was used to wearing pants as a male, so I stuck with the white shirt, black vest, and soot stained pants. After putting the clothes on, I began checking myself out in the mirror I was definitely now a female. My hair was short, and a dark brown colour and my eyes were the colour of a flawless emerald. I peeked my head out from behind the curtain to see if there were any bra's but apparently, bra's had not been invented yet. I left the clothes I didn't want in the changing booth and brought the ones I did to the counter. The total came to a single silver coin which wasn't too bad since I got three different sets of clothes. I left the shop and wandered around the shopping plaza for a little while trying to find a sword of some sort. After an hour of looking around, I found a small stall with a dwarven merchant peddling his crafts.
"cheap sword?"
The dwarf began looking around in a barrel that was behind him. All the weapons in there seemed to be his junk, though most of them were still of relatively high quality. He appeared to have found one that he decided was cheap enough for me. It was a short sword with a few imperfections but good enough to hack a bandit or two if they tried anything against me. He held up three fingers indicating three silver which I pulled out of my small pouch; I only had a few dozen copper coins left enough for a loaf of bread or something. I waved goodbye to the dwarf and made my way to a nearby bakery.
