"What did you have in mind" the attendant leaned forward "my supervisor would be more than pleased if I could prove that it wasn't a blunder that he purchased that particular item". "Let's make a little deal, give me three days with it and I'll attempt my method and when I succeed I'll keep it handing over my method to you directly" Hayden Pryor said with a wink hoping he'd take the bait to further his career both saving face for his supervisor and securing a novel method. "And if you can't, I don't mean to insult you but many attempts have been made with no success" shaking his head with hesitancy he continued "I don't think I could risk my position without a guarantee"
" one core realm coin and the return of the item guaranteed by the verdant path, how's that for a guarantee" Hayden said with a smirk. Spitting out his tea Hector Vale's heart skipped a beat, they did have the money or authority to make sure a deal. The rate of exchange wasn't exactly fixed but one core coin is anyway from fifty to seventy foundational realm coins if someone was willing to trade. The standard method of getting core realm coins is exchanging a core realm material to an imperial office for what they evaluate or buying them from sects that need a large quantity of low level materials, with all of that he stood up to protest when the bafoon continued. " but I also want a copy of the battle array cultivation manual as well, do we have a deal" those words made Hector stop in his tracks, that might actually make it possible for their motley crew to potentially survive the pits long enough to keep them both alive. Sitting back down he decided to ride this out and hope for the best.

"Well" sigh "fine I'll have a contract drawn up immediately" standing up and headed out of the room the attendant left a grinning Hayden and a nervous Hector alone together. "Are you sure about this expert Pryor " Hector said with a little bit of panic in his voice. "Absolutely " Hayden replied with a smile. Internally he was screaming at himself, he had a potential solution but no clue if it would even work yet he was already dead without this.
The attendant came back with a contract and a black box with formation carved on it. Hector quickly signed it and they did their best not to run back to their warehouse.
Slamming the door to Hector's new office Hayden slapped the desk "Paper" he said pointing at Hector "excuse me" Hector said with a puzzled and slightly worried face. Snapping his head up he locked eyes "quickly man, we have very little time" gesturing at Hector he continued "I'll write you a list of supplies but we'll need to get started immediately". Seeing the look in expert Pryor's eyes had Hector swiftly gather a note pad and hand it over. Scribbling furiously Hayden spent the next few minutes drawing diagrams and listing materials, handing the list over Hayden Pryor had a manic look on his face "get that to the Smiths and the glass blowers and pay them whatever they want as long as they work around the clock" saying that he collapsed forward onto the desk. Looking down at the mostly nonsense on the page Hector sighed with worry and exasperation before jogging to arrange everything "this had better work or we're dead"
