A Light Of Hope?
Unknown to The Sleeping Eron a Storm had brewed above the Town.
Not a single light was switched on as at the time of Midnight, no one would be sane enough to be awake and out about roaming the streets.
The Backalleys were sparsely filled with shady beings and on the street corners one could occasionally find a few Homeless people sleeping.
Occasionally loud shouts of men in Guard uniforms could be heard ordering criminals to stop which was very occasionally followed up by lots of agonising screams.
It was hard to identify on which side the screams belonged to however.
The Guards patrolled the streets as they tried to do their jobs while avoiding putting themselves in dangerous situations and encountering the wrong kind of figures.
It was a Normal routine here in Xenox Town and the shouts were nothing special as the shady figures and crooks roamed the streets like it was just another night going about their business.
Except it wasn't.
Most People crawling through the streets failed to notice as Dark Clouds began appearing over the city.
The cloud loomed upon the city silently as the people below went about doing what they were doing completely unaware of what was above them.
It grew thicker as the Minutes passed and lightning That seemed to become more visible looked to have been dyed in crimson Blood snaking through the clouds emitted no sound at all.
Some people on the streets began noticing the Thick cloud that had formed over them that seemed to have covered the entire city in an instant.
People on streets stopped in their tracks as they viewed the clouds in Wonder.
In the heart of the city, there stood a unique building constructed with bricks, forming an interconnected combination of two rectangles meeting at their ends to create a striking corner shape.
Coloured glasses adorned all over the two floor high building with the Center of it covered in a massive coloured glass on the wall and a big metallic cross above it.
A room that held a large bed and was decorated with gold and silver trinkets all around, It had an extravagantly designed mirror table with refined woodwork where a silver cross necklace and thick book with a cross on the cover laid amidst the sounds of the bed in the background creaking.
The light in the room was a dim yellow produced by the several candle sticks lit up all around the room giving of a very relaxing feeling, on the king sized bed was a Man and a brunette woman whose bodies covered by a silver silk blanket shuffled within it as the man was on top of the female both of them having no clothes on.
The Man basked within the woman's bodies warmth staring down on her with a depraved crooked smile as his body kept moving back and forth without rest.
The woman was seemingly full of life filled with the energy of the lust savouring every moment of it but her green eyes looked a bit lifeless and dull telling a completely different story from her body.
What was that saying again?
A Smile Can Hide the truth, The Mouth can Whisper Lies, The Body can always Act But The Eyes Reveal What's hidden below the Surface.
Sweat pouring down the man's head he moved his hand to wipe it when he took a glance outside the window for just a second and froze in motion seeing the thick clouds in the sky that were seemingly endless that seemed to have formed all of a sudden with no comotion at that.
He looked through one of the transparent glass panes and his eyes widened as he saw Blood red Lightning constantly snaking through the clouds.
The Brunette woman that was beneath him seemed to have snapped out of her lifeless daze when she felt the man stop so she looked over at him seeing him completely distracted.
Her eyes widened slightly as a hint of fear appeared on her face seeing the man distracted from her.
She adjusted her body slightly and her expression switched.
She looked upon him with a lustful expression as she spoke in a slurred tone rising up the bed closer to his body "What's wrong Master?" She said as she gasped with breath, the sweat dripping down her neck falling into the abyss in between her chest.
The Man did not respond however as he stared outside the window wide eyed for a few seconds.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
His mind racing at the thought of what he was seeing.
'Perhaps an attack? No that can't be, To create that, one would need to be immensely powerful, This simply can't be an attack, A being would not risk the exhaustion for this range of attack on this City, if such a being is even capable of doing such a impossible thing...'
His heart raced, and a shiver of cold sweat trickled down his back as he gulped nervously.
'Perhaps… Is this God's Punishment?'
He looked down at the woman and instantly had a face of Fear as he pushed himself away from her, staring at her with Horrified eyes.
"It's All your fault, woman!"
The women let out a little moan as she was pushed back down looking confused at the Man whose depravity suddenly had seemingly completely vanished, internally she wondered what was going on, was she not satisfying him well enough... did she do something wrong she thought with a slight bit of fear arising in her heart as she recalled some painful memories staring at The Man who had slick back hair and wore thin circular rimmed glasses.
"What's wrong Master?" She asked again but this time her tone slightly fearful, her eyebrows creased and a slight quiver in her tone.
The Man failed to respond as he began stammering not being able to say any words.
Confused Seeing this she smiled seductively, promptly deciding to ignore her confusion and fear and try harder to please him and do what she was supposed to as she was ordered by the Man himself.
She placed her finger on the man's chest and began to slowly slide lower and lower going below his belly button touching his unholy part that stood slightly weak in the Air.
The priest felt this and with anger and fear written all over his face slapped the girls hand away and as if breaking out of his frozen state he jumped out of the bed buck naked as he finally managed to squeeze out a few words.
"Stay Away from me!" he shouted as he quickly ran to the exquisite mirror table and grabbed the book and cross necklace with his hand violently shaking barely being able to hold on to them.
The woman was confused seeing the man acting so weird so she decided to see what the man may have seen when he looked outside.
She turned her head to look out of the window and froze, Her eyes widened and her mind cleared within an instant.
She grabbed the blanket on the bed and instantly covered herself, she felt her heart beating as she wondered seeing the Blood red Lightning in the clouds that seemed to stretch far and wide.
'Is This God's Punishment?' She wondered as her heart beat like a drum within her chest, a sense of disbelief and unrealness taking over her mind.
Soon however her heart and mind calmed down, her eyes looked heavy and tired as a genuine smile appeared on her face, "God is Real" she thought as she collapsed on bed with exhaustion still awake with a incredible sense of relief.
She was relieved that finally God will punish the Sinners, she thought as she glanced at The man who dropped down to his knees "Oh God Please forgive me" he shouted with his hands conjoined together as if praying with the cross necklace and the book in between them.
The woman who was on the bed looked to be filled with relief as she herself stood up of the bed stepping into her black Nun garments with a cross on it that were on the floor and simply kneeled on the floor away from the desperate man pleading for forgiveness, letting out a little smile seeing the state of the man.
In the streets the shouts of the Guards seized as everybody who was awake now stared upon the clouds whose lightning were seemingly getting thicker and longer.
Fear began rising in their hearts.
No one knew who it was but someone in the now silent town shouted "God's Punishment"
Breaking everybody from their frozen stupor as some knelt right where they were and began praying loudly while the rest began running in all directions hoping to find some shelter no matter how minuscule that may be.
The Guards that were meant to catch the shady figures and crooks completely ignored them running past them as if they didn't exist as everybody scattered trying to find some shelter.
They believed that nobody in the world had such powers so the only logical thing was that it could only be God.
The Blood Red Lightning in the sky that was moving like snakes all of a sudden froze, Only for a second before They all began to move to a singular point.
The man in the Church saw this and felt his heartbeat skip as he looked down at his hands seeing the Bible and the cross.
He looked at the two and then back at the Lightning that was all converging at one point and realised that God was not gonna forgive him no matter how much he begged.
The Bible and the cross that were in his hands dropped to the ground as he stood up and ran out of the room, soon exiting the building naked and running without looking back to hopefully leave the town before the lightning strikes down.
The Women smiled seeing the Man who ran out, She knew that this was an act of God the Man could not escape.
This however was not an Act of God This was rather the Awakening of a Demon that had long since disappeared from the World.
The lightning all gathered together leaving behind dark thick clouds in the sky with a blood ball of lightning.
The lightning that had now formed into a ball dropped from the sky leaving behind a trail of red lightning with not a sound to be heard, no sound at all.
Specifically the ball of lightning dropped into the Room where Eron was trying to get some sleep.
Within a blink of an eye the Lightning hit Eron's Body bypassing The Roof as if it didn't exist and disappearing not leaving a single scratch hitting Eron.
It was so Quick Eron did not even see the Light as it hit him followed by the feeling of something within Eron Awaken.
The town however looked upon the clouds in silence holding their breaths as they waited clutching their cover waiting for something to happen but nothing happened.
The clouds in the Sky began to disperse into the wind as if it had not even existed.
The Woman saw the Lightning ball crash to the ground with relief but her heart started speeding up when nothing happened.
She sat there waiting for something to happen but a few minutes passed and nothing happened.
Her heart dropped as a sense of hopelessness began taking over her.
'If that was not God's Action of Punishment then..." she thought about the priest, "Will I have to continue living like that?' She wondered, remembering back to the entire year she was forced to perform such actions by the Man.
She had joined the church of Xenox town a year ago as a Nun, she looked forward to being able to be closer to God.
After All that was her wish since a child, To be closer to God.
She could still remember how Happy her and her family was when the Priest personally had come and Told them that she was accepted as a Nun.
The Joy her and her family felt could not be described.
Now that she was accepted as a Nun she would finally be closer to God she believed, But how foolish was such a thought, She remised.
