Chapter 11 Maybe They won't kill us.

Maybe They Won't Kill Us

Inside the Empty Church Archbishop Micheal quietly waited his eyes shut as he just sat there.

A door creaked open suddenly and a face peeked through the opening.

It was none other than Esmeralda, Her green eyes glowing with hope.

Archbishop opened his eyes seemingly disturbed by the noise as he glanced towards the creeked open door noticing Esmeralda peeking through.

After a bit of silence Micheal spoke "Can I help you with Something?" he questioned.

Esmeralda felt a wave of hesitation and fear overcome for a second, but she pushed the door open a little more and walked through.

Standing at the door Esmeralda bowed a 90 degree bow and introduced herself "Sir Archbishop, My Name is Esmeralda Crowley A Nun in training and I Plead thee for help!" She asked letting out a bit of Desperation in her voice slip out towards the end.

Michael looked at her for a few seconds in silence before he spoke "Raise your Head, nun in training Esmeralda Crowley, We stand within the sacred house of God, A pure and honest soul is equal here to anyone ignoring status and power"

Hearing his voice Esmeralda almost teared up, The comfort she felt bought an eternal amount of warmth to her scared self, Her eyes about to burst out of tears she stood up and made eye contact with Archbishop Michael.

However when she saw his Golden eyes pulsating with power a pressure enveloped her causing her to look down.

"Speak, What bothers the Subject of God?" he spoke, his voice smooth and filled with a holy warmth.

Esmeralda finnaly couldnt hold back anymore and let it all out, explaining what's been happening to her and all the other Nun's who have come here to be closer to God.

Archbishop Michael just listened to all this while looking at Esmeralda with seeminngly unperturbed eyes, waiting for Esmeralda to finish.

At the end she couldnt help but get on her knees and beg "Please Sir Archbishop Micheal I beg thee to deliver the justice deserved"

Micheal was quite for a few seconds just looking at Esmeralda who was in a groveling position, Silence premeating through slightly dimmly lit church.

Esmeralda felt her hope of justice slowly begining to slip away, wondering just why she even kept hope at this point in justice.

As the Seconds Stretched the Silence began weighing heavier and heavier upon Esmeralda.

"I'm Sorry Sister but I cant do much for you, I cannot Exterminate Father Helix, I can not remove him from his position nor can I Banish him, The Church has rotted to far, By Getting Stronger I Hoped i would be enough to Cut of The Rot within the Chruch.... But I am not strong enough" Micheal finnaly spoke, His eyes staring of into the Distance, He could relate in experiences with Esmeralda afterall.

The Church was an Evil place in Comparesion to its Holy Image, No rather a place filled with Evil people who have to much Power, Infecting everybody else with thier evil from the very start.

"But Sister, What I Promise you is that Father Helix will Forever Lose the Ability to ever perform such Unholy and Disgusting Actions ever Again... Rest with Ease tonight Sister"

Micheal Concluded, Esmeralda who was on the ground all of a sudden felt like a weight that was crushing her had suddenly vanished, Tears flowed down her cheeks as she stood up.

A Enchantingly bright smile on her face.

"Archbishop Michael, I truly thank you, I thank you not only on behalf of myself but also my fellow Nuns, We are truly Thankfull for your Help and eternally will be gratefull" Esmeralda said as she bowed her head , He eyes clearer then ever before she walked away shutting the the door.

Michael just looked at the shut door with a softened eyes and a slight smile on his Lips.

I may not be strong enough to change the Churh completely... But I can still Help.

The Main door to church was Opened suddenly at this time as Father Helix walked in first, Behind were rows of Young Teenage boys and Girls with looks of Fear on there face's escorted by The Holy knights.

Micheal's Face immeditely turned Back to being cold as he looked at the Kids coming inside.

Eron and Felix were Strolling through the residential area of there city when they found a bunch of Men in Knight Armour with the Church of Light's Cross on it along with Father Helix and bunch of tennage looking boys and girls surrounding a wooden House.

Felix immediately pulled Eron to side behind the walls of another house just opposite to the one where the Gaurds and and Kids were standing.

"What are they doing?" Felix asked.

Like I know!

Eron glanced and Felix and wanted to say that.

But held back and simply said "Let's Find out".

Eron and Felix quietly stared at them and watched as they went to a few houses forcing Kids who looked to be around the same age to follow them out of the house.

The parents were reluctant and even a bit scared for their Kids seeing the men with Armours and Swords but in the end could not go against the orders and had to give there Son or Daughter.

Felix and Eron were a bit in the distance so they could not exactly hear what they were talking about and were just going of based on there expressions and lips.

They watched and watched until eventually they ended up seeing all of them moving towards the Church where Outside of it stood rows of Carriages.

"I dont think we should follow them anymore" said felix who was beside's Eron as he felt intimidated seeing the carriages.

"C'mon we will just sneak a glance through the side windows" Eron said towards Felix.

"No this is not a good Idea" Felix said feeling hesitation but Eron patted his back and said with a firm look "There is no need to fear, It's not like they are gonna kill us kids for simply sneaking a peak, they cant even do that as followers of the Church of light" Eron said.

As a matter of Fact Eron himself wasnt sure whether they could do that or not, He was just waiting for Felix to confirm it or not.

Felix was quiet for a few seconds, He glanced at Eron and then at the church before he spoke.

"I mean You're not wrong"
