There were five different pokemon lined up in front of my team of dogs and they were all similar size and shape. I can see the logic behind Mews offer, all the pokemon in front of the dogs were in my eyes canine pokemon so if it is actually possible to change them into pokemon surely something similar to what they are now is easier? I mean does Mew have to follow some sort of law that determines the transfer of mass? What am I talking about, pokemon evolutions and the pokemon themselves are basically magic.
Now the first 3 I recognised as the were from the games I had played before. A vulpix was the first on the left, its distinctive red coat and multiple tails. “Solid choice” I thought, fire type and an awesome evolution though getting hold of 5 fire stones could be difficult. Next to the vulpix was a growlithe with its orange fur, black stripes and white-ish furr on its head and chest. Fire again, a wicked cool looking pokemon and evolves into a beast of an animal with a fire stone as well. “Looking like a top pick so far” I thought. Looking to the next in line my heart just about melted. Looking at me smaller than the dogs I currently owned was a minute little brown haired, white tuffed eevee. I’m not afraid to admit my choice was most likely made right then and there, eevee had always been my favourite even if its annoyingly difficult to evolve into all its different forms but it gives you choices and is adorable beyond belief. “That said I am now in a dangerous place, having a team of growlithes right off the bat would be a safe option” I thought to myself. Eyes looking to the next in line was a pink furred canine looking pokemon with a blue ruff. Staring at it for a second or two its name came to me, Snubbull a normal or fairy type? I wasn’t really sure, cant say I had ever even had it in a game. The last in line I recognised faster but found I didn’t really know much about either, houndour a fire and dark type. With a black fur body, red muzzle and a honest to god looking skull on its head it looked both badass and a little scary.
In the games that I had played making a choice at the start was always easy, I mean it’s a game on a screen even if you regret your choice you can start again or just not use that pokemon. But these were my dogs that I had worked with for years. I could never just put them away and forget and I am pretty sure Mew wont be around or willing to give me a second chance. With that in mind in my mind I wrote off the last two, I didn’t know or really like Snubbull or Houndour so that left Vulpix, Growlithe or Eevee.

Two fire types that become pseudo legendaries or a normal that can become 8 other types?
I made my choice. I have 5 dogs now and ones a boy, what’s to stop me once I have money and a home to bred some more and collect them all?
“Hey Mew, could you turn my dogs into Eevee’s please?”
Mew gave me a long look before giving me a nod. The 5 clones of Mew disappeared, and Mew rose higher into the air with my five dogs in their bubbles. All the dogs started to either whine or start barking in distress. “It’s ok guys, you’ll be down soon” I called up anxiously, seeing as I didn’t know if that was the truth or not. As I watched Mew started to glow brighter and brighter like you would see an evolving pokemon in the games or tv show. “MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW”! came a loud cry from the centre of the glow with beams of light reaching out to each Gin, Rum, Brandy, Scotch and Ale and all the dogs howling in response. The light was so intense I had to turn my head away unable to bear looking in that direction any longer. Gusts of wind started to blow away from Mew in the centre of the clearing with the surrounding trees starting to shake and creak from the pressure. I ran covering my head back to my quad bike a few meters away to take shelter from the waves of power radiating from Mew and the dogs. Seconds passed as the waves of power seemed to intensify before easing off. Poking my head up from behind my cover of the bike I could see 6 glowing forms slowly descending to the ground. As each form touched the ground the glow faded out to reveal 5 panting eevees on the ground and a satisfied looking mew who summoned a pink bubble to collapse into. “…. Are you guys ok?” I started before all the dogs, no eevees now turned to look at me and came bounding over before jumping all around me barking and licking.
“woof!, Eevee eevee, ruff, eev, vee, vee. Woof, eevee!” A chaotic mix of sounds rose up, a mixture of their old barks and new calls. “ Look at you guys you’re alright! And so small now! Like your puppies again!” I cry out as I fall to my knees and try to grab as many of them as I can at once. Turns out that’s 4 out of 5.
