These kingdoms coexisted harmoniously, each contributing its unique attributes to the prosperity of the whole.  Each kingdom was full of power, and each kingdom balanced another, keeping them all equal so none was above another, but it was not always like that, nearly 100 years ago there was a sixth and seventh kingdom. These kingdoms were the most powerful of the seven kingdoms. They were the kingdom of light and shadows. These kingdoms fought themselves to extinction, nearly taking the other five kingdoms with them. They only realized too late that war would be the end of all elements. Luckily the other five kingdoms withdrew from the war before it was too late. Now the five kingdoms are united and equal, having learned the consequences of the shadow kingdom trying to take control of the seven kingdoms. They called it the War of Dawn and Dusk, and ever after vowed to treat all the elements as equals for fear of losing all life.
