I was about to open the tab for my traits when something else caught my eye, 'resistances'. I opened the tab.

Set Notifications for Resistances?
Yes or No
I stared at the information before me, dumbstruck, it appeared to be a list of every possible way I could be hurt. Some of them were straightforward forward like blunt and slash, but others I couldn't make heads or tails of. Dismal? Radiant? I decided to ignore them for now, I didn't have any resistances other than a single point in blunt, anyway so it wouldn't affect much.
I selected to be notified if any of my 'resistance' increases, while doing so I also found that I could highlight specific resistances as well. I left that aspect alone, I would wait till I was put in a situation where I took damage and it became relevant, then I closed the tab. I turned my focus back to my original goal, and my traits, and brought up the tab again.
Traits List: 10
Not-of-Age [Expand]
Trifecta Soul [Expand]
Breeder of the Swarm [Locked]
Natural Weapons (Lesser) [Locked]
Desolate Forager [Expand]
Scavenger [Expand]
Forgotten Lineage [Locked]
Flesh [Expand]
Mesomorphic [Expand]
Hide (Light) [Expand]
I began to expand some of the information, I found that 'Flesh', 'Mesomorphic', and 'Hide' just detailed more resistance information. Such as how fast I could move and in what manner, it was where my 'bipedal' movement information was housed. All of the traits listed as 'Locked' wouldn't open or provide more information, either by selecting them or doing an inquiry.
I decided to ignore 'Not-of-Age' and 'Trifecta Soul' as they would contain information I already knew of, or just inform me of more restrictions that I had. That really only left 'Desolate Forager' and 'Scavenger'. I expanded the 'Scavenger' trait.
Scavenger
You are able to find loot and gather resources with a higher success rate. This includes finding things that are hidden.
That could definitely prove useful, I made a mental note and moved on to 'Desolate Forager'.
Desolate Forager
You have a higher success rate when gathering in any area considered: Barren, Wasteland, Scavenged, Ruined, Desolate, War-Torn, Abandoned, and any other area or terrain that is of a similar nature.
There must be something still there and you're sure to find it.
New soul Tip: Your Traits and Powers get stronger as you increase in Tier.
Weren't they basically the same trait? I read back over them and realized that while they both were traits that helped me to find and collect things one seemed like it was geared toward items, like loot, and the other seemed to be more geared toward survival. Their effects are also stacked. Although they didn't serve me much now, it was good to know that I would be able to find what I needed if I was ever in a bad situation. I decided to move back to my main information tab.

I read back over my 'Birth Stigmata' and decided to take a closer look.
Birth Stigmata
Worg - Lunas – Combat – Sabre Mastery
New Soul Tip: Abilities/ Traits/ Skills acquired from your Birth Stigmata will be locked until you come of age.
I let out a sigh, another thing that was locked until I 'came of age'. I had looked through everything I could at the moment and set notifications for when anything changed. So there was nothing more to do about it. I suddenly thought about my milestones, I had just completed some, so it might have been worth a look. A moment later a new window appeared.

I thought my jaw might hit the floor as I read the information. All of my 'Corporeal Soul' milestones had been completed, which I assumed had happened. But now all of the 'Vattir Soul' milestones were listed. I felt a thrill of excitement, this was something I could work with! But reading back over the new information I felt lost again. 'Be afflicted by magic' was straightforward enough, but I wasn't sure how to accomplish that. The only person I could think of who could use magic was my mother, but I didn't think asking her was a good idea.
The other new milestone 'Learn your Master Skill' was where I lost the plot entirely. What was a 'Master Skill'? I gave a sight, and even when I made progress it hit a wall. But it was still a start.
I stood up from my spot by the basket, deciding to go find mother, as the stew was starting to boil over. I trotted to the back of the large main yurt and into her workshop, where I found her passed out at her worktable, the newly finished dress laying beside her.
It looked almost exactly as it had before, except it was now clearly larger to accommodate my sudden growth spurt. As I looked at it I felt something, like energy, pulsating from it. This time it not only radiated from the bone amulet but the dress itself. I examined the garments closer and found small new embellishments had been added, one of which appeared to be blood-red rhinestones that now circled the collar.
I felt a pang of guilt as I stared at my mother, then I quickly exited the workroom and ran over to my bed. I picked up a few of the soft furs and jogged back to my mother. I did my best to drape them on her shoulders, not an easy feat as she was much taller than me, even slumped over. When I was satisfied that I had done the best I could manage, I turned to my newly tailored clothes.
I dressed much quicker this time, already knowing how all of the buttons and clasps worked. After I finished adjusting my headdress my hand drifted to the rhinestones at my collar. I thought it was odd. Mother already had so much work to do, why take the extra time to add them? My question was answered by a red window that appeared.
Inspection Inquiry
Size Adjustment Array
This Array allows the garment it is attached to, to adjust to the size of the wearer. This adjustment is allowed up to a 30% size increase.
Ah, I guess she really didn't want a repeat of this morning, though I couldn't blame her. I glanced at my mother one last time, then returned to the main room. The Stew was still boiling and spilling over, so I quickly grabbed the large wooden spoon mother had used earlier and began to stir the giant pot. I had to stand on tip-toe as the metal pot was almost as large as me. The Lamot roots had already been added, so I glanced around the cooking area for more ingredients. I felt both my 'Scavenger' and 'Desolate Forager' activate, it was shortly followed by a notification.
Desolate Forager: Trait Activated
You are currently in a zone that is affected with: Poverty and Barren.
Set Notifications for Traits?
Yes or No
I saw the additional note at the bottom and decided to set it to only be notified when my traits were used. I also went ahead and set it to give me the option to expand for more information if I so chose. After doing that, I considered the notification.
'It says this 'zone' is one of poverty. Does that mean my mother is living in poverty?' I considered this, a creeping sense of guilt starting to loom. I began to look around my home in earnest. Taking in the pristinely kept pillars with their intricate carvings, and the multitude of barrels and sacks that were filled with dried foods and spices. There was even a large barrel filled with clean drinking water.
All of the tools and pots were well-worn but clearly maintained, and the walls were covered in ornaments and intricately woven cloth banners. All of which was just the main room, I hadn't even considered the workrooms and the other areas I hadn't been allowed into yet. Taking in my home in its entirety the place felt rather rich. We didn't look like a family who struggled or wanted for much if anything at all.
“Finally, born with a silver spoon,” I mused to myself, feeling good about our situation. However something still felt off, but I couldn't quite place it. Maybe taking a look outside would bring some clarity. I looked around the area, there was no sign of Sha'ree, I assumed she was in the other room that was accessible from here. The 'Brood Room' as I had started calling it, as it was where she spent most of her time with us when she was nursing.
I gave the pot a final stir, then quietly approached the door outside, hoping my newfound stealth power would allow me to slip by undetected. But as soon as I got within five feet of the exit, I froze. A cold sweat formed on my brow and my blood turned to ice at the distinct sensation of eyes on my back. I slowly turned my head to find glowing red eyes glaring down at me from the shadows, partially obscured by the leather flap that functioned as a door. The same door that led to the other side door that I've seen Sha'ree sometimes frequent.
'Well shit,' I thought to myself bitterly. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that mother didn't leave me unattended. I noted the eyes that stared me down were not Sha'ree's glistening yellow. A realization struck me as I recalled something mother had said earlier.
“You must be Suu'der?” I said, trying to sound innocent. As though on cue, the red eyes drew closer and a large, black wolf seemed to materialize out of the shadows. His fur was pitch black, with what looked like tendrils of shadow emanating from his body, like steam from boiling water. His hide was littered with scars, they ranged in size and shape, some looked like claw marks, others punctures and some seemed to be made by weapons. He was at least twice the size of Sha'ree, and as he stepped forward he passed through a shadow one of the central pillars was casting, as soon as he touched it he disappeared.
'Where did he go!' I stumbled back, confusion morphing into panic, as I looked around the room franticly, 'He had been right there, how could something that big just disappear?!' I then felt something warm and wet dripping down the front of my freshly tailored outfit. It was drool. Slowly looking up, I found myself gazing down at the large gaping maw, lined with black razor-sharp teeth. My stomach clenched with dread as mother's words from this morning rang in my ears.
'Suu'der has yet to eat,' my eyes widened in terror. I inhaled deeply, about to use 'summon mother', when I was gently grabbed by the back of my dress and placed in front of the bubbling pot. I heard a sad, low whine emanate from the giant beast, and all of my fear subsided instantly.
I turned around to look at the monstrous black wolf, who now sat before me, ears back and making the largest and most sorrowful eyes at me. Suu'der let out another sad whine. His sad eyes darted back and forth between the, comparatively, smaller empty metal bowl and the large cooking pot.
I was dumbfounded. Then felt my face flush with annoyance as I grabbed the wooden spoon and began waving it at the now docile creature.
“By Ignis's Wrath Suu'der! You scared the living crap out of me!” I looked down at the front of my dress, which was covered in reeking, goopy wolf drool. I felt a new surge of annoyance rise in me and I looked back at the furry creature, “You even got my new outfit soaked in your stinking drool!” My voice began to raise in pitch and volume as I wave the spoon at the wolf once again. His eyes narrowed and a low growl was emitted from Suu'der's throat.
I should have been terrified, a shadowy wolf that was at least ten times my size and could disappear at will was staring me down with a menacing growl. He could have bitten my head off with a single snap of his immense jaws. But I didn't care, I was tired of being pushed around and punished for things that weren't my fault. Besides, I knew he wouldn't do anything. I wasn't sure how I knew this, but as I stared down Suu'der, I felt a strange certainty that he would never do anything to hurt me. He was just trying to make me roll over and do what he wanted, and that was not going to happen. I took the spoon and gestured to the boiling pot of food.
“Oh, don't you even start with me you overgrown wolf cub! If you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner you will behave yourself this instant!” The wolf let out a huff, then stood up, turned around, and sat with his back to me letting out another huff. I rolled my eyes, and mother thought I sulked too much. Hands on my hips I looked around the room for more ingredients, and spotted a skinned rabbit that was hanging on a high hook, far out of my reach.
“Suu'der!” I called, the wolf looked at me over his wide shoulders, and I pointed to the rabbit, “Fetch!” he looked between me and the rabbit, then gave another huff and laid down, back still facing me. I crossed my arms and stared down at the large shadowy animal.
“No rabbit, no lunch or dinner,” I said in an even tone, emphasizing each syllable. His ears twitched, and he let out a sound that was very close to a sigh before he stood. He slowly padded over to where the rabbit hung, plucked it from its place, and dropped it by the cooking pot. I smirked at the creature, then he walked through the door that led outside. I could see his outline as he lay in front of the door, baring entry. I could also hear a mix of grumbling and whines that almost sounded like complaining.
