Chapter 5: Interrogation
They stopped at a nearby house that Dalton owned, as they brought the half-dead man into the house. They tied him to a chair with everyone gathered around him. Thomas was about to tie the knot when the man struggled out of bounds and pulled a knife out of his jeans. But before anyone could stop him, he thrust the knife at Thomas. Instead of a stab of flesh, The knife broke into a thousand pieces as Thomas morphed into a stone statue. Thomas moved in a flurry of motion and punched the man and sent him flying. As soon as it happened, Thomas turned back. With an angry look at everyone “You saw nothing!” he growled, then he restrained the concussed man and Mina stepped up and touched his bloody temple. Dalton set her wristwatch up and gave her 2,200 volts.
Okay, Mina, just focus on what we need. We are looking for the location of the Blackbird project. Mina nodded weakly as Dalton's voice was becoming fainter. She looked into the man's head, looking at everything through his eyes. from a few hours ago when he was preparing his shotgun. His entire life was a blur of drinking sessions and being kicked out of the Blackbird project. Blackbird project? That sounded familiar, so she retraced her steps and stopped at a file. The Blackbird project, she thought in excitement. She retraced the man's steps in her mind again, looking more carefully. As she was losing consciousness, she read on the file. She quickly pulled out of his mind. Mina instinctively put her hand to her forehead, realizing that it was covered in sweat. She looked at the concerned looks of everyone around her.

"Well, it was really hard not to care when you were mumbling like an exorcist,” Thomas grumbled.
“Let me check your vitals,” Dalton said, concerned. She put out her hand as she let him check her heart rate.
“Do you want to know what the information we came for in the first place?"place? Mina said.
"Yes, of course,” Dalton blurted out.
“Well it is on Mount Eggbert-or Elbert in Denver,” she stated. Dalton raced to the computer, typing like a mad man. “Mount Elbert, I should have known." He signed
Well, now we know where the place is, so it’s time to kick some but! Daniel yelled a bit too excitedly.
“Kids these days are so into violence, it has to be all that Fortnite,” Dalton said, annoyed.
“I don’t care where we are going, just as long as I get a good night's sleep. All this talking is driving me to insanity”. She said sleepy, and with that, everyone fell asleep on the floor.
