Chapter 4: Capture
The car slid to a stop just in front of the apartment block. As everyone slowly crept out,
"Thomas, you keep watch, Mina and Daniel capture the guy.”
Everyone crept into action. Mina and Daniel walked casually up to the locked back door of the hotel and melted the lock. They walked into the old apartment block and proceeded to go up the stairs. They went up till they stopped at the man's door. Mina tried the door, but a rusty chain was in the way.
“Let me help,” Daniel said calmly, sticking out his hand. His fist glowed red as he sliced the chain in half instantly. They crept into the room and went to the bed. Then they pulled the cover off, but only pillows were there.

“I knew someone was going to come for me!” a gruff, insane voice yelled as the man drew out his gun. In a panic, Mina shot out her hand and blasted him with water from a nearby sink. The man screamed as a loud crack echoed off the walls.
“At least he didn’t lose his head." Daniel chuckled as Mina looked in horror at the man curling into a ball, cuddling his blood-stained arm. They both looked around in confusion as they heard voices outside the room. Daniel grabbed the unconscious man and hurried Mina along. As they ran down the hallway, Daniel raised his hand, turning off the apartment's lights.
“I would hate for a fire to happen,” Daniel said slyly as the stairwell above them randomly exploded in fire. Mina just ran with her head down, shaking in fear. They arrived at the car. Dalton looked at the apartment, shaking his head disapprovingly at the already soot-streaked wall of the apartment complex and the screaming people outside. When investigators came, they and the evidence were long gone.
