> Quote:-“Well there are many legends about it…but it is said that a god has created the rift to stop a war. On the other side of the rift there is another city but since the distance is too big they couldn’t build a bridge and it takes to long to go around the rift. They say that it’s so deep that you can’t see the bottom of it.”

Vol.2 Chapter 9- Doln
Paul rested and the next day he wanted to craft some swords and daggers since the old ones were completely destroyed but then remembered the sword he created using aura. He tried to create them again and with ease two large swords appeared in his hand.
They were like flames and their state kept going wild losing their shape. Paul then closed his eyes and pictured what he wanted the flames to look like in his mind. After a few hours of testing and trying different methods he finally could control them with ease. He could change their shape whenever he wanted.
As soon as he reached a state where he could control their shape at will the aura didn’t look like a flame anymore. It had a solid state and didn’t lose its shape. Then for the next day he tried to concentrate more of his aura into the blades and tried to change its color.
At the end of the day he succeeded in what he wanted. Now the blades were almost invisible. They were also sharper than any blade. The only downside was that it consumed mana, but that wasn’t a problem for Paul since he had more then he needed.
After finishing with his weapon he needed some good armor. Sadly in the village there wasn’t any tailors and the only armor was an old soldier one. It looked uncomfortable so Paul didn’t take it. Instead he wore simple clothes and no armor. After eating and sharing some of his food with others he went to bed.
The next day, he left the village towards the castle. Since he was faster he reached the stone arch that the old man told him about in a few minutes. Then from there to the city it took him an hour. The city was very large had many buildings of many different shapes but they were all run down from the time and weather. The castle was as he heard on the edge of the cliff and was also in a similar shape. It had a large wall around it and a large gate.
Still he didn’t immediately entered the city and continued to train on his control. While training he saw that some of the bandits were living in the city and some in the castle. Only some bandits were entering the castle. It seems that they have ranks among them.
After two days of training and watching the bandits he finally decided to head towards the castle. He tried to avoid the bandits but because he still couldn’t control his strength as much as he wanted he destroyed the wall of a house causing the house to collapse.
Multiple bandits came to check on the noise and saw Paul staring near the rubble. They all took started swinging their swords towards Paul but he avoided all of them. Feeling confident he kept avoiding them and considered the whole situation a chance to train. As he avoided the attacks he suddenly felt something on his back. As soon as he felt something on his back all the bandits stopped moving and jumped back.
Paul looked back and saw a bandit with a broken sword in his hand. On the ground were pieces of a sword. ‘Did he just try to stab me in the back? Wait….did that sword break? Is my skin that strong as well?’
As he looked at the bandit and his broken sword he swathe bandit was pale as a sheet of paper and saying monster to Paul. The bandits tried to escape when they saw that they couldn’t handle Paul. Sadly for them, for Paul it was like they were moving in slow motion. Paul created a sword from his aura and in a few seconds all the bandits were dead. Paul kept killing all the bandits in the city and absorbing their stuff and guild points.
After clearing the city it was time for the castle. The gates were closed but for Paul that wasn’t a problem. With one punch the castle door now had a hole in it. He entered and was greeted by the sounds of a bell coming from the castle and bandits all around the gate.
Without any issues he killed all of them in a few moments. Then he headed inside the castle. As he went to what seemed like a throne room he saw a man standing on the throne. Next to it was a were 3 small tigers with horns in a small cage. They looked sick, hungry and one of them wasn’t even alive.
The man didn’t get up and just asked.
-“Who are you?”
-“Nobody?”
-“So nobody killed all my men, that I gathered?”
-“Seems so…”
-“Do you know who I am?”
As soon as he finished his sentence his head was slowly rolling on the ground with Paul next to him. He then looked at the small tigers. The two that were still alive were licking the dead one. It seems that he only recently died. As Paul reached towards them they retreated and ran to the back of the cage since that the furthest they could go.
Paul then broke the cage releasing them. Then he took out some meat from his ring and gave it to them. Like they forgot about Paul they ran towards the meat and ate. Seems that the bandits fed them only enough to keep them alive.
After finishing their meat they remembered Paul and ran away again.
They couldn’t run far since the doors were all closed but they were still afraid. Paul sat down on the throne to think about what to do next and as he did a window appeared in front of him.
This city has no ruler. Do you wish to become the new ruler?
Paul accepted and then another window appeared.
You became the ruler of a city. You can change its name. Do you wish to change it?
Paul nodded and then said. “DOLN”
You have a command crystal. To use it just place it anywhere in the city.
He looked carefully at the latest window since he didn’t remember having one. He concentrated on the ring and saw that one item disappeared and another appeared. The box he received from Jonathan disappeared and a command crystal appeared. He took it out and It appeared in his hands. It looked like an egg.
He placed it on the ground and then some tentacles made from earth appeared and raised it up, to his chest. The tentacles hardened. Paul put his hands on the crystal and in an instant he knew everything about the city. Every secret door, every small detail.
He also found where the young men that the bandits took from the city. They were in a mine on the edge of the city. They were locked inside with some bandits. He figured that they could wait since they didn’t hear the bell they definitely didn’t hear anything else. He started to relocate the crystal and himself. He moved it downwards. As deep as he could.

Next he put in the room some light crystals and plants that create oxygen. He made a door that can only be opened from inside. Then he created a tunnel upwards. Then again a tunnel 3 meter wide for about 100 meters straight downwards. From there a tunnel straight for a long distance that was filled with water. Next he created an exit towards the cliff edge. When he reached the exit, everything was completely black. There was no light. Then from the exit he made some stairs on the edge that led back up to the castle.
After applying all this. He suddenly found himself in the room he imagined. Next he created some traps, he placed some poisonous plants, he created a maze. In the end he made it so it’s impossible to get to it from outside but easy to exit. He created a few fake rooms where there were fake crystals. He made the room where the real crystal was from a material strong enough that even his strength was useless. Next he started to work on the castle. He tried to continue but he needed more crystal shards. He took some out and kept going. Each time he ran out he took out some more and kept renovating.
He renovated all the castle. He lifted the castle grounds and around the castle walls he created a small river filled with dangerous fish that were similar to piranhas. He then renovated the houses that were closest to the castle. Paul then made the roads from solid stone. Among the houses he created some trees, plants so that there wouldn’t be so grey all around. He improved the defenses of the city by creating multiple defense towers all around the city.
Then he created a city center. He made a large well in the center of it and on the edge he created a few larger buildings. A large inn, a guild testing facility, a library, a garrison building for the guards. At the entrance to the city he created a few buildings that were needed in every market district. Shops. He created everything he though there was needed in a city.
There was only one way into the city and that was following the path. At the very edge of the city he created a wall with two large towers on both sides. He created also a tunnel for a few meters that had on the side windows from which the guards could shoot arrows from. He created about 3 tunnels until the arch. He created a few more buildings but they were all similar.
He also created a park on one side that was filled with trees. He then put a few more trees and wells among the buildings. On the left side of the city he created a large field that had good soil for crops. Then next to the mine he created a large room into the mountain. The room ceiling was 6 meters high and it could hold all the livestock.
Then he created a large wall with some gates around the city separating it from the park and fields, since anyone could go around the mountains and reach the city. He created a few towers along the wall. Most people just used the path Paul took since it was the shortest way. It would take 2-3 times longer to go around, and it was also dangerous.
Feeling satisfied he applied everything and then he felt a small earthquake. He exited the crystal’s room and in a few minutes he was back outside the castle. He looked around and saw that everything was as he imagined it.
-“Amazing….I should probably be careful with who knows about the crystal”
Then he went back to the throne room. The two tigers were still there playing with each other. Paul fed them again and then tried talking to them. As he did one of them seemed to understand him. He tilted his head as he looked at Paul. The one that seemed to understand was a white tiger hat had small back horns. Well they weren’t horns, not yet anyway, they were more like small bumps. Then he told the tigers that he needs to leave but will return soon. He left them enough food to last them for a two days and then left.
He went to the mines and killed all the bandits inside before they even realized what happened. The young men and women inside were all cheering when they exited the mines they were all dirty but they were all smiling. Paul told them to wait for him while their families arrive here and warned them not to go into the castle.
Using his speed he reached the village in about two hours. He told them the news.
-“The bandits are gone and the men and women are safe”
-“Really? Where are they?”
-“In the city”
-“Why didn’t they come with you?”
-“Because I told them you were going there”
-“No we are not…our whole lives are here, in the village”
-“Well then I suppose the next time bandits and creatures come, you can deal with them.”
The old man looked down and then looked at the others
-“Who wants to stay and risk the bandits returning can stay. Who wants to live in the city under my rule can come anytime they wish. There are many empty houses.”
Some of them started packing and some didn’t. His companions that followed him also headed towards the city. Paul didn’t wait for everyone to decide and headed towards the other villages and let them know. In the end he went to all the villages and they all reacted mostly the same way.
Some wanted to stay and some wanted to leave. Paul just told them the offer and left. It took him another two hours to return to the city. He found out that some of the people that were enslaved cleaned themselves up and started exploring the city. When Paul explained that some of them didn’t want to come they all worried but decided to wait and see who is coming.
When Paul entered the throne room he saw the white tiger whimper at the body of his brother. Paul realized that the other tiger was sick too. Paul then tried to ask the tiger what happened but since they couldn’t communicate it just looked at Paul and then at the body of his brother. Paul then asked it if it wants to be his pet. The tiger looked confused again and then a window popped up.
Smokey has become you pet.
He tried to see his new pets stats but couldn’t. No matter what command he used he couldn’t see it. As he left the throne room with his brothers in his hands he saw the Smokey was following him. He took the bodies to the rift edge and looked at Smokey. With a nod like he understood, Smokey let out a small roar, and Paul threw the bodies into the rift.
For the next 2 days people kept coming into the city. They occupied some of the houses and started to rebuild. Paul continued to train on his control. Then one night some men approached Paul, some older than the others.
-“Excuse us. Can we talk?
