> Quote:The next day he got up and absorbed the house into the ring. He wasn’t sure if it was possible since it was bigger than the usual things he absorbed. After eating he left the ruins and headed further west. He went a few minutes before spotting some creatures that looked like horses but had no eyes. They looked creepy. Paul used stealth and went closer to them deciding to test his new arsenal.
Vol.2 Chapter 2-Rosan
Just as he got close enough to shoot the crossbow, he took a deep breath and shot an arrow straight into the head of one of the horses, killing it instantly. When he tried to fire a second one, it didn’t work. He used the other crossbow and fired again killing another one, but just like the other it didn’t work a second time. Putting the crossbows down he attacked the last horse with his daggers. Paul killed it in a few strikes. He took the guild points and then absorbed the bodies. He picked up the crossbows to check them since they didn’t function properly. While inspecting the crossbow he learned that only one arrow can be properly used and that the chances of launching another arrow successfully decreased drastically. He left further west a few minutes and when he found a safe place he took out his blacksmithing tool and recreated the crossbow with only one arrow but still had the same great power.
After a day and a few hours of traveling he reached the edge of the forest and saw in the distance a city. He cleaned himself and headed towards the city. The city was larger than the only village he saw so far. On the way to the city he absorbed everything except a dagger and the clothes on him. He took out a pouch and put 3 gold in it after that he attached it to his side. After a few minutes he reached the gates and the guards didn’t even looked at him, as he entered the city.
It seems that this city’s name is Rosan and there is a road around trough the forest that connects to other cities. It seems that Paul went straight through the middle of the forest and didn’t see the road.
Inside the walls it was very noisy. It seems near the gates was the market. Everywhere he looked there were small shops with people yelling what they had for sale. Paul decided to check the shops and see if there is what the items and prices are like. The prices were a bit higher than in the village, but the items were better. Paul was not poor, after finding some gold in the forest, he had 350 gold coins. He could buy a lot of things with that money but Paul didn’t want to stand out and he also wanted to keep some money for emergencies.
After walking around for a bit he found a place where he could sell the bodies of the creatures he killed so far. He went back to an alley where no one could see him, took out a large bag and put all the pelts he had in it. He put in another one all the bones, and in another one everything else that was useful. The bag with the pelts was the biggest. After struggling to pick up the bags he left the alley. In the market people were watching him suspiciously since he was a carrying such large bags.
Paul headed to a store and when he entered the owner was staring at the bags. Paul then told him he has some things for sale. He took out the pelts and put them on the counter. He put all the pelts inside except the one he got from the Alpha. The owner was now counting the pelts and studying them.
-“May I ask where you got such a large amount of pelts?”
-“I got them while traveling with my friends”
Paul used a small lie since it would seem suspicious a person killing and carrying such a large amount of loot.
-“I can offer you 30 gold for all the wolf pelts and 10 for the rest of the pelts.”
-“Deal.”
The store owner handed him 40 gold. Paul then took out the other two bags and put them on the counter.
The store owner studied them and offered him 50 gold for both bags and Paul accepted. Paul satisfied left the store thanking the owner.
Paul then asked around for the Inn since it was already pretty late. After finding the inn Paul went inside and asked for a room. The room was more expensive than Paul though. It was 10 silver per night. Back in the village the inn cost only 1 silver. Paul headed up to the room and before resting
He checked his stats since the last time he gained a few.

Seeing that he had enough guild points he decided that the first thing he will do the next day was raise his guild rank since he was confident that he was no longer just a G rank.
The next day he headed to the guild testing facility. It was easy to find with some help. Inside the facility there were at least 10 people. It was weird seeing it so full since back in the village it was almost always empty. Inside the building there were a lot of different people. There were some with bows, some with large swords. Some had fancy armor and some looked, well like Paul, poor.
After 6 of them left. The next one got angry and started yelling at the crystal. It seems that he didn’t raise his rank. Most of them were around F rank.
After a few minutes it was Paul’s turn. He lowered his luck down to 50 and used the crystal. After using it he left the building sat down on a bench and checked his stats.

He was surprised to see that he got the D rank. It was usually after a stat reached 600 but Paul figured it was because he had a lot of stats in the 400’s. The title this time wasn’t bad, he actually liked the new title. Feeling quite happy with his progress he headed to a tailor since he didn’t have the skills to create something at a level he wanted. He found one without problems. After entering the tailor looked at him once and made a disappointed face. The tailor though that Paul was too poor to buy anything. Paul then asked the tailor if he could look around.

-“Do you have any money or are you a thief?”
Paul got out 50 gold coins and showed them to the tailor. The tailor was shocked and immediately changed his attitude. Paul looked around the shop and saw that nothing he liked.
-“Do you make custom armor?”
-“Yes. Of course. If you bring the materials than it’s cheaper of course”
-“I see. I would like for you to make me one using this”
Paul pulled out the Alpha pelt from his bag and handed it to the tailor. The tailor started studying it for a while before saying.
-“For giving me such a rare pelt to use I will give you a discount. Do you have special request about the armor?”
-“I would like on the chest to have something like on my current armor. Also please make it as light as possible and also allow high mobility.”
-“Of course. Please come here to take your sizes.”
-“Please use all youre skill since I will give you a bonus if I like it”
-“Of course”
After a few minutes of measuring Paul left since the armor will take at least 3 days to make. Paul then headed to the blacksmith. As he entered the blacksmith he asked if he could observe him for a day. The blacksmith found this a little weird but allowed it. For the next day Paul observed him moving. The blacksmith didn’t have any useless movements. He was precise and skilled. By observing him for the whole day he increased his skill. He went back to the inn and before sleeping he reviewed
what he saw the blacksmith. Just as he finished he hit intermediary on blacksmithing.

The next day Paul searched a place to craft new weapons. He soon found a corner that was empty and away from the public, took out his tools and started crafting daggers. He used the same method of creating the daggers as before only this time he doubled everything he did and used. Five hours later he had created two daggers. These daggers were black with a white edge. This time Paul used some of the wolf bone that he kept for himself to create the handle for the daggers. He struggled quite bit since he didn’t know how to use the bone efficiently. After an hour he finally succeded. Six hours and a half and the daggers were finished.
Black Bone Dagger(2x)Damage200-230Durabillity400/400Blade created using all the skill of a skilled blacksmith using a high grade steel the bone of a powerful wolf.

Paul put the daggers into the ring and then he tried crafting a small sword. Something between a sword and a dagger. He crafted many swords but none were similar to the daggers he earlier created. After 5 hours of failures. He finally created a pair of short swords. The swords did more damage than the daggers but they could not be used as fast.
Gemini Swords(2x)Damage290-300Durabillity600/600Twin blades that can be used by anyone with any two-handed weapon mastery.
He then packed up and headed to the quest board. He started looking around from the lowest rank to the highest. One quest caught his eye. It was about helping a group of soldiers clear a dungeon that has been sending some creatures to attack merchants that travel to this city. It was an D rank quest. The rewards were gold and fame.
Whoever wanted to accept the quest must show up at the gate at dawn two days later. Paul decided that he was going to join the quest.
He went to bed at the inn and reviewed the last 24 hours before falling asleep.
The next day he headed to the tailor to check his armor. As it turns out it was just finished. Paul tried it on and it was perfect in every way. It was a combination of white and black. The tailor left some fur around the neck but since the fur was from the Alpha it offered some protection. The boots and pants were part of the set so they had the same color. Paul tried to move around and it seemd that it didn’t restrain his movements at all.
Alpha armor setProtection600-650Durabillity1000/1000Amor crafted by a highly skilled tailor using all the skills effeciently. It offers high protection and increases speed by 15 %.
It cost him 25 gold but the armor was very useful. He spent the next day buying ingredients for food since in the dungeon there wasn’t any place to eat. He spent around 10 gold but he bought a lot of ingredients.
Next he headed to the guild testing facility to use the cube to train using the short swords. As he entered he saw that no one used it so he went ahead and used it. He trained the rest of the day inside and the dual dagger mastery skill turned into dual weapon mastery skill at the end. He noticed that when there are a lot of enemies the daggers are more useful since you are faster but when one on one the swords are better.
He went to sleep after reviewing since the next day he would go to a dungeon for the first time.
