His features can't be made out very well as his silhouette covers the entire door frame casting a shadow over the room. However, I recognize the man in front of me because the memories allow me to. Rubeus Hagrid struggles to get inside as he squeezes through the tiny door frame.
Finally having entered the room, his face is revealed to us. Twice as tall as my mom who had already gotten up, he looms over her with his huge body. His head touches the ceiling even when he seemed to be hunching down. He wore an exceptionally large and thick overcoat contributing to his already big size. His face was almost completely hidden by a long, shaggy mane of hair and a wild, tangled beard. Despite his intimidating build, his face revealed kindness and gentleness with a glimpse of childishness that makes one lower their guard. And he carried a huge umbrella fit for his size.
He opens his mouth to speak in a deep voice coated in a thick West Country accent, "I am incredibly sorry mam. Hope I didn' scare yeh. I'm Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. Yeh can call me Hagrid. I was sent by Professor McGonagall ter guide Mr. Dursley an' Mr. Potter in their visit to the wizardin' world."
Finally coming out of shock, mom finally replies, "Uhmm... yes, please sit down. Would you like anything? Water or maybe tea?"
"It's alright mam. It would be better if we could go right away. Yeh wouldn' mind, would yeh?"
"He's not going anywhere. I will not have a freak like you anywhere near my son. Nor will you be taking the other freak with you." A loud pitchy voice interrupts mom before she can say anything. Mom becomes visibly pale in fear of angering the giant of a man. Unfortunately, her fear comes true the next moment as Hagrid's bellowing voice is heard. His voice thunders in the room as he struggles to walk through the cramped space knocking down things here and there.
"If he wants ter go, a Muggle like you won't stop him. Especially 'Arry. Stop Lily an' James Potter's son goin' ter Hogwarts! Yer mad. His name's been down ever since he was born. They're ter go ter the finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world. Seven years there and they won't know themselves. They'll be with youngsters of their sort, fer a change, an' they'll be under the greatest headmaster Hogwarts ever had, Albus Dumbled—"
"I AM NOT PAYING FOR SOME CRACKPOT OLD FOOL TO TEACH HIM MAGIC TRICKS!" Vernon interrupts Hagrid in a funny raspy voice. It was honestly surprising that he had the guts to say that straight to the giant's face. But the very next moment, Vernon visually pales at the straight-up rage that can be heard from Hagrid's voice.

"NEVER-INSULT-ALBUS-DUMBLEDORE-IN-FRONT-OF-ME!" his voice thundered across the room. He brought his umbrella pointed up, straight towards Vernon as a flash of violet light hits Vernon right at his face. A sound of a firecracker followed by a strange squeal has Vernon covering his nose with his thick chubby hands. After a minute of what sounded like a pig being slaughtered, Vernon removes his hand to reveal a pig snout that strangely suited him more than his original nose and mouth.
Seeing the unfamiliar snout in his face, he follows up with even more screaming as he eventually faints and falls to the floor. A brief silence engulfs the room for a while, which is broken as soon as Hagrid's voice is heard.
"I wanted to turn him into a pig but I guess this suits him better." I and Harry look at each other not knowing what to say but then soft laughter is heard from my mom. "It does, doesn't it?" she says as she smiles wryly. "Let's go. We don't have much time before he wakes up again," she reminds us.
"Don't we have to do something about him though?" I say as I point towards the unconscious orc. "Leave him there. He's not going to die anyway. He won't die right?" she asks Hagrid. "He won' die. It's just a simple transfiguration spell," Hagrid replies in return.
"Right...anyways. Come on boys, I have some money saved up. Hope that it will be enough," says my mom as she hurries inside. "Don' worry, Harry's parents have some money saved up. They can be put to good use." Hagrid assures my mom.
"Really!!! But I thought my parents' house was attacked by Voldemort." Harry says in excitement with hidden sadness and anger. "Shhh, don' say the name. I guess they told yeh about your parents huh," Hagrid hurries to correct Harry as soon as he hears the name.
"You shouldn't say his name. Some say he died. Codswallop, in my opinion. Dunno if he had enough human left in him to die. Some say he's still out there, bidin' his time, like, but I don' believe it. People who was on his side came back ter ours. Some of 'em came outta kinda trances. Don' reckon they could've done if he was comin' back.
Most of us reckon he's still out there somewhere but lost his powers. Too weak to carry on. 'Cause somethin' about you finished him, Harry. There was somethin' goin' on that night he hadn't counted on -- I dunno what it was, no one does -- but somethin' about you stumped him, all right. An' if he's alive, all the more reason to not say his name." After hearing that, all of the excitement gets drowned out as an invisible pressure grips on all of our hearts.
"What are you all doing? Let's go. I thought you guys were looking forward to this. What's with the heavy atmosphere?" my mom inquires as she walks towards us.
"Nothing mom, we were just waiting for you, right Harry," I reply quickly before anyone can say anything as I nudge Harry with my shoulder. "He's right. Let's go. I'm soo excited," says Harry as he fakes excitement.
"Hmm..." "Let's go. We haven' got all day. Also, they didn' keep their gold in the house, boy! Nah, first stop fer us is Gringotts. Wizards' bank," Hagrid says before mom could suspect anything else. I and Harry look at each other to see the same reluctant smile on each other's faces.
