After defeating the Ogre, Ryu smiled and chuckled. He had never felt joy like this before. It was an overwhelming fight, but he had managed to win and protect the child. He caught his breath and approached the kid. Even though he was in a ragged state and walking was too much for him, he was surprised to see that the kid was awake and had been watching the whole time.
The kid got up and hugged Ryu tightly. "Thank you, mister! You're so cool! You killed that monster!" Ryu laughed and asked the kid, "Were you awake since earlier?" The boy nodded and replied, "Yes! I pretended to be dead so that the monster wouldn't come to me. I was worried that I might be a hindrance to you if I joined."
Ryu patted the boy's head and said, "You're a smart boy, aren't you?" The child stood up and pointed to himself with his thumb. "I've got a name! My name's Park Jun-hoo!" the kid proudly said. "Ok, Jun-hoo. Let's get out of here." Ryu said, slowly standing up.
"Mister, look! There are coins floating above the monster's body!" The boy said, pointing at the monster's corpse. Ryu saw two coins floating and walked towards them and grabbed them. He looked at them confusedly and commented, "I thought Dream Coins were rare. Why are they dropping off like this?"
He kneeled down and faced the kid. He gently grabbed the child's shoulder and said, "Here, let's split this. Ok?" The kid backed up and refused Ryu's offer. "No, you did the hard work, mister. I barely did anything." Jun-hoo smiled, pushing the coin back to Ryu. Ryu thought for a second, "How about this? The coin that I used to kill the Ogre is actually yours. I'll be giving it back to you and then we're quits." Ryu said, smiling. After seeing this, Jun-hoo had no choice but to accept it. Jun-hoo at least knew how to accept someone's kindness.
"Thank you, mister! You're the best!" Jun-hoo exclaimed excitedly. They laughed together as if they had known each other for years. The resemblance between the two was uncanny.
"Uhmm, Jun-hoo." Ryu said, scratching his head.
"Yes, Mister?" Jun-hoo replied.
"Do you know how to get out of here? If we don't get out on time, we'll experience a great headache." Ryu said, trying his best not to make the kid panic.
"Hehe, we can get out of here? I don't know anything because last time I was eaten by the monster." Jun-hoo answered and scratched his head too. Ryu thought to himself, "We're doomed."
"Don't you have a phone on you?" Ryu asked, hoping that it could at least provide a way to get them out.
"Hehe, my mom doesn't allow me to have a personal phone. I only use hers." Jun-hoo innocently answered, having no idea what problem they would be facing in the future.
At this point, Ryu was already thinking how he would say it to the kid without making him cry, but suddenly someone called him.
"Oppa...? Aren't you supposed to be a beginner? Why are you here?" A familiar face greeted Ryu. Ryu brightened up as he saw a light of hope to get them out.
"Ah! Miss Luna, you're here. What are you doing here?" Ryu said and stood up. He looked at Luna, but something else caught his eye. There was a group of people who wore black outfits. They all wore the same black outfits that looked like ninja costumes. Now that he thought about it, Luna was wearing the same too.

Luna seemed to understand what Ryu was thinking and said, "We're Dream Raiders. An organization specifically created to raid Lucid Dreams. You see, there are two types of dreams that humans have, Oppa. One is dreams that are created from their minds. We call those normal dreams. And the second one is Lucid Dreams. Those are dreams that feel real. It's not a dream that a person can make, instead the person is the one who enters that dream. This is the reason why some people have the same dream. Do you follow, Oppa?" Luna explained it so well that it started to make sense to Ryu.
Ryu frowned and said, "Wow...Yes, I understood, but could you please stop calling me Oppa? I'm not comfortable with it." He felt uncomfortable by Luna's way of addressing him.
"Oh? Is that so? Haha, maybe if you had introduced yourself earlier, I could have called you by your name." Luna replied sarcastically. She didn't want to call Ryu Oppa either. Ryu squinted his eyes, trying to remember if he had forgotten to introduce himself. He was a socially awkward person. He wasn't an introvert, but he spoke and communicated in a very weird way.
As he was about to introduce himself, he saw Jun-hoo looking at him with curiosity in his eyes. He realized that he had also forgotten to introduce himself to Jun-hoo. He scratched his head and bowed. "Hehe, sorry about that. I always forget to introduce myself. I'm Ryu. Ryu Sakka." Ryu finally introduced himself to them. Luna seemed to be thinking of something else, while Jun-hoo smiled at Ryu.
"Hello, Ryu-nim! Thank you for saving me from the monster earlier!" Jun-hoo bowed to Ryu as a sign of gratitude. Ryu smiled back at Jun-hoo in return.
"Anyway, how did you guys get here?" Ryu turned to Luna and asked.
"Hm? This dream is a Class-S dream. We've formed a group to conquer this dream. We were supposed to raid this yesterday, but it ended before we managed to group up." Luna explained and pointed to the men in black behind her.
"By the way, did you two kill that Ogre?" Luna asked with a serious look. Ryu noticed a sudden change in Luna's aura.
"Yes! Ryu-nim killed it by himself!" Jun-hoo proudly said to Luna. Everyone in Luna's team stopped what they were doing and looked at Ryu in surprise.
"Did you really manage to kill the Ogre by yourself?" Someone from the group said and stepped forward. "I'm Jeon Woo-Jin. A Class-S raider. I'm the captain of this group." Woo-Jin said and shook Ryu's hand. He was a tall and muscular man, with a deep voice and piercing eyes that could intimidate anyone.
"Ah...Yes, I killed it by luck. I used the Dream Coin to stab its eye, but the coin suddenly exploded and killed the Ogre." Ryu hesitantly answered. Luna and Woo-Jin looked at each other, shocked by what they heard.
"Could we talk later? There's something we want to talk to you about. For now, we should get out of here. This dream seems about to end." Luna said, pointing at the night sky. Ryu looked at it and saw the sky dissolving. Luna turned around and walked to the group, but Ryu grabbed her shoulder and asked, "How do we get out of here again?"
Luna laughed at him. She couldn't believe that a newbie like him who didn't know how to get out could defeat a Lucid Creature that even a Class-S raider such as Woo-Jin would have a hard time to kill by himself.
She gave him a short explanation of how to exit the dream safely, and then they parted ways and bid farewell. Ryu woke up at 5 in the morning. He felt a hard and cold thing in his pants. He looked for it and found the dream coin he had gotten from the dream. He wasn't surprised anymore, but he was still amused by how magical those dream coins were. He decided not to register the dream coin to his phone. He realized that it would be more useful to save it for the future, in case he encountered another Ogre or something worse. He would keep it as a trump card.
He got up from his bed and felt the urge to use the bathroom. After that, he planned to do some exercise. He realized that although his body was in great shape, his movements were too sloppy and he thought that that was the reason why he couldn't defeat the Ogre without the coin's help.
He removed the cast from his foot and put on a hoodie and joggers, then left his room. He passed by Jun-hoo's room and peeked through the door to check on his condition. Fortunately, Jun-hoo seemed to be doing just fine. He saw Jun-hoo talking to his mother, probably telling her about his dream. Ryu smirked and continued to mind his own business.
He jogged for three hours, nonstop. And on top of that, he watched some video tutorials on how to fight using agility and speed. He wanted to improve his skills and be ready for any challenge. He didn't know what awaited him in the next dream, but he was determined to face it head-on.
As he was figuring out his fighting style, he saw a familiar face walking towards him. It was Luna, wearing a casual outfit and carrying a box. She waved at him and smiled.
"Hey, Ryu! Fancy meeting you here!" she said cheerfully.
"Hey, Luna. What are you doing here?" Ryu asked, he stopped what he was doing.
"I'm here to see you, of course. I have something important to tell you." Luna said, lowering her voice.
"What is it? How did you even find me? " Ryu asked, curious.
"Follow me. I'll explain everything." Luna said, grabbing his hand and leading him to a nearby park.
Ryu followed her, wondering what she had to say. He hoped it had something to do with the app and the dreams. He had so many questions and he wanted some answers. He also wanted to know more about Luna and her group of Dream Raiders. He's aware that Luna would be able to satisfy his curiosity. He didn't know why, but he trusted her.
