Chapter 837 Mess

CHAPTER 837 MESS

Though Maximilian had no idea about the relationship between Grace and the suited man, it was

obvious that the man caught Grace's tripping.

As the man was about to pull the trigger, Maximilian sprang towards Grace and saved her life. While he

didn't realized that he had unconsciously put his hands on the chest of this beautiful lady.

Grace flushed and looked at Maximilian with sullen in her eyes. It was the moment when she was

about to teach Maximilian a lesson with a slap that Maximilian realized and moved his hands away, All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do so. Now, you stay here, and I'll handle this." He then stood up and went into

the crowd, searching for the armed man in black.

Grace was dumbed by both his words and his movements, wondering if the man was trying to protect

her. In fact, she was a little touched by Maximilian, since even the coldest woman would be grateful to

those who had saved her life.

Soon, Maximilian found out the location of the suited man, and so did the suited man in panic.

The only thing in the man's mind now was that he needed to get out of the place as soon as possible,

since he had no idea about what would happen if he was caught by Maximilian.

For Maximilian, he was not going to just let him go as easily as such. He picked up a branch on the

ground and threw it at the man. It was unbelievable that the branch directly went through the shoulder

of the man and left a bloody hole on it.

The suited man cried out for pain, running as fast as he can to run away from Maximilian, a man whose

strength was totally out of what he had expected. As he turned around, he saw a minivan coming from

not far away. The man, who seemed surprised and excited, waved his arms as hard as possible to the

vehicle in order to get noticed. "I'm here! Help me." He said.

While what came to him the next moment was a bullet shotted by the man in the car. The minivan

drove away, leaving the suited man lying in a pool of blood.

Such scenes were absolutely something that ordinary people would seldom see in their real life. The

crowds around were frightened, and scared to flee in disorder.

It seemed they didn't realized that all was due to a man called Maximilian. Maximilian frowned and

went to the middle-aged man dressed exotically lying on the ground. After checking his breath and

pulse, Maximilian judged that he was dead.

"No, dad!" Grace half crawled to the side of the middle-aged man and cried. At this moment, Maximilian

finally understood everything.

As Maximilian stepped forwards and was about to ask for the cure of the poison, Grace picked the

body of his dad up, left a little bottle of potion on the ground and went away without any hesitation.

"This is the cure for the poison, and I want to thank you again for helping me today. we are even now."

Said Grace.

Maximilian smiled helplessly and picked up the bottle. Soon, the discomfort caused by the poison was

gone as he drank up the potion.

After a while, Maximilian looked around, and found that those from government had arrived and were

investigating what had just happened. Among them, Maximilian saw a good-shaped and long-haired

lady dressed in the uniform of government walking around and looking for evidence.

Maximilian then decided to go up and provide some details for the lady, which equated to helping Chief

Carr to some extent.

"Greetings, madam. I had witnessed everything happening around, and maybe I could describe some

of the details for you." Maximilian smiled and stepped forward.

The lady looked at Maximilian up and down and thought that this man was obviously suspicious since

no one would just go up and voluntarily talk to the policemen after things happened around.

Looking at Maximilian's calm and smiling face cautiously, the lady nodded and said, "That would be

great, sir."

Maximilian had told the lady everything that he saw, not including that he had also been involved in the

affair, of course.

The lady said, "I understand, and thank you for your co-operation."

"You're welcome." Said Maximilian.

A big man, standing not far away and having been observing the two for a while, felt discomforted to

see Maximilian getting so close to the lady. He then stepped forwards and questioned, "In my opinion, it

seems that you are also involved in this mess. Am I right, dear mister?" He grinned, and then

confidently complemented, "Only the true murderer would come up and explain things for himself to

delude others."

Hearing that, Maximilian shook his head and thought that this guy was really imaginative.

"Well, it's your right to say whatever you want." Maximilian gave a plain response.

"And now it seems that I've gotten to the point, isn't it?" The big man sneered.

The lady was kind of discomforted by the man's manner of speaking, and said to him with an

unpleasant look, "Mr. Aaryan Pearson, we are professional, and those who are professional need

practical evidence before charging anyone."

Though she also doubted the authenticity of what Maximilian had said, she still needed more evidence

to make any further judgement.

"You're right, Miss. Jude. It's my bad being too hasty on this affair" The man called Pearson then

immediately said flatteringly and smiled exaggeratedly at Jude, which deeply disgusted this beautiful

policewoman.

"Mr. Pearson, we have found a bloody branch with several fingerprints on it. Shall we take it back and

have a check on it?" One of the men of Pearson came up and reported.
