Leveling System:
One of the gods of this world decided to preside over a status display & level/skill system in order to promote and facilitate growth and adventure among the races. She is known to most Aura user as the Sytem Administrator. Her name known to other deities is Biatrosia.
Starting off any sentient being who hasn't tapped into their natural aura will automatically be Level 0 or Unleveled and will continue to be until the realization of aura sometimes referred to as realization, ascension, or ascending. Once aura powers have been awakened the system kicks in and the user receives heads-up notifications.
High levels imply high stats and strong abilities. However, the strength of abilities doesn't always scale with level. Levels scale based on experience gained with the use of skills and abilities. Correspondingly stats change based on what skills are used and how they are used. If one wants to control their stat growth they need to train that stat with the skills they have.
Aura Abilities tend to fall into categories based on two factors: element, and style of control. Skills can be learned or even created via tangent of understanding the base nature of the skill(s) implemented.
Most spirit and elven races achieve level 10 while still in their childhood stages before adolescents. Humans who ascend can reach level 10 with relative ease of grinding for a year or 2. The first 10 levels have relatively easy growth compared to later levels. Most Humans, Anthrials (Demi-Humen & Beastmen), and Brutes remain unleveled due to a number of factors. The System Admin contributes the number 1 reason for being unleveled is ignorance, shortly followed by sloth. Once a being has unlocked their aura it cannot be undone. For those who have released their aura it seems strange to think of life any other way.
In most human societies there are power gaps and most of the time the humans in charge have realized their aura and use that knowledge to suppress their domain. Usually by keeping the masses ignorant of the true origins of aura power. Blinding them to their way out of oppression. It is common for most Human, and Anthrial settlements (especially close to elemental zones and dungeons) to have at least 1 or 2 leaders who have ascended. They are usually the protectors and run their settlements also sharing their knowledge to train future users. Most societies that are close to dangerous regions are inhabited by Spirit and Elven races due to their natural aura affinities and early ascension by culture.
No one knows the highest level attainable but it is common knowledge (among those who train in aura) that beings can achieve level 100 however these are normally Spirit Elders or other Aura Wielders that have trained their whole lives honing their prowess.
Level 0/ Unleveled: Refer to all beings that cannot/do not wield Aura. Most Brutes remain Unleveled but their base strength makes them far stronger than most other races even without the use of Aura. Beastmen share this trait as their strength is representative of the beast they are ancestrally linked to. A fox beastman will have much higher agility and dexterity than a bear or lion beastman where they have much higher strength and vitality in kind. All beastmen are physically stronger than average demi-humans and humans.
Level 1(Realization/Ascension): Once a being has unlocked their basic aura they will be notified of achieving level 1 and of their natural affinities. Beings born able to wield aura will receive these notifications when they first consciously activate their aura/skills. Once unlocked aura will seep out of the body rather quickly and the user's stamina and vitality will be drained very quickly if they do not learn to control their aura flow. It is common for knowledgeable practitioners to guide and teach aspiring users to meditate in an attempt to feel their aura before ascension. Spirit and Elven races have a natural affinity for aura use and inherently have basic aura control from level 0 (birth). Aura control enhances the body's ability to repair itself while also protecting and preserving it. Aura users can have ridiculously long lifespans especially if they are among the Spirit races that stop aging after attaining a certain aura threshold.

Level 10 threshold: Usually signifies that the wielder is proficient with the use of Aura in both combat and basic control of their aura flow. Most spirit races achieve level 10 while still in their childhood stages before adolescents. Humans who ascend can reach level 10 with relative ease of grinding for a year or 2. The first 10 levels have relatively easy growth compared to later levels. The first 10 levels also seem to scale with knowledge and understanding of one's self and the world around them. This doesn't hold true in later levels where once that base knowledge is achieved experience comes from practical use more so than deeper understanding. This is part of the reason most Spirit and Elven race societies' children reach level 10, most of the knowledge can be taught and trained without rigorous dangers like adventuring. With proper base understanding, all practical activities and skills can be meditated on and experience gained through daily activities. Most aura users at level 10 that aren't focused in combat aren't necessarily much stronger than an unleveled of their same race and size.
Level 100 threshold: Generally assumed to be the max level. There are few in the world who ever achieve this prestigious level and less is known about what happens after the level is achieved. Typically reached by elders of the spirit and elven races, on average there are less than 20 level 100+ beings on the planet at any given time.
Levels are most efficiently gained by the constant use of skills or combat training. Proper meditation and consolidation of experience earned will increase leveling speed and skill growth. One can also gain major EXP bonuses from defeating enemies of higher stats and scaled levels to themself. Actual life-threatening fights give large experience bonuses compared to fights that statistically should be easy. For example, a dragon or otherwise large creature will have naturally high physical stats even at low levels. If a smaller creature defeats a bigger creature it will gain more experience than vice versa, even if both creatures are at the same literal level. The smaller creature would also gain a bonus to that EXP earned based on scaled base stats and levels. These EXP bonuses are great but extremely risky to gain. This is why the System Admin awards bonus EXP. Most aura users in self-preservation do not go hunting higher-level or stronger beings than themselves in order to level. Taking the more practical approach of training and partying up for strong foes.
Stats and World physics
The System Admin chose to represent statistical growth via the following attributes:
Vitality: Directly corresponds to Health/Hit Points. For every point of vitality, you get a base 10 HP. Total HP can be affected by many factors including but not limited to Racial Abilities and Aura Strength
Stamina: Directly correlates to endurance and is heavily impacted by Aura Strength. High Aura Strength boosts Stamina efficiently and effectively.
Strength: Corresponds to the strength that the being carries in the physical world. Large creatures get natural strength multipliers.
Dexterity: Reflects the aura users' reflexive and adept movements, muscle control, and aura control.
Agility: Correlates to the users' top speed and perception. Perception is heavily impacted by intelligence
Intelligence: Processing speed and perception speed, exp gain, aura control
Wisdom: Processing power, exp gain, aura strength, spiritual connectivity
Intelligence and Wisdom Stats heavily impact meditation benefits.
Classes
Classes can be broken down into two categories. Fighter or Combat Class and Job Class. Classes only really affect Aura users as they are an additional function to the System Interface. Classes allow Aura Users to gain more experience based on their skill set. They also allow users to gain Titles. Titles are a low-tier boon that the System Admin grants when users in certain classes achieve certain thresholds or impress her. Titles usually grant some kind of perk usually in the form of a stat boost or an ability. Some titles don't grant any perk and are simply a note of recognition that the goddess deemed worthy. Even without a perk Titles notarize status and skill.
