I jumped out of my seat as the Inertian broke through the screen. I look down at Murphy, who was frozen in fear.
"You need to get out of here!" I shout at him, terrified for him, and me. Despite my warning, he stays seated, staring in terror and shock at the Inertian. I forcibly take his hand, and yank him out of his seat.
"C'mon, you need to get out of here!" I yell at him, and this finally snaps him out of his stupor. The creature, an eight foot tall reddish monstrosity with curled horn looks in our direction. I feel a shiver go down my spine. I glance at Murphy, and we make eye contact. We both knew immediatly, we need to run. I turn around, and Murphy does the same. We begin our mad dash towards the theater doors, and make it into the entrance area of the theater.
"To the doors!" I point towards the doors to the outside, the only hope we had. I was just about to start running, when another Inertian comes into the view of the door. It was blocking our only escape! The despair began to sink in.
I heard a crash, the first Inertian walked into the room we were in! There was no escape. The second Inertian, this one taller than the first, 10 feet tall was a dark, disgusting shade of green. Both of the monstrosities were approaching us.

"I-Is this the end?" Murphy whimpers beside me. I feel a sharp pang of pity for him, he was so young and had so much energy and excitement. I started to think. I need to save Murphy. It would be an upside if I could survive too, but, not my main goal... I look at the two Inertians, slowly approaching, they almost seem to be, grinning? They knew we had no hope. I looked down at Murphy.
"Once I distract him, you run." I command him.
"But-" I cut him off before he can finish.
"No questions, just do it." I begin to approach the green Inertian, the on blocking the door.
"Hey, Greenscreen! Over here!" The Inertian looks over at me. It starts to approach me. I turn towards the other one, with horns and red skin.
"Hey, Horny- oh God, I didn't think that name out... Nevermind that! Over here!" The Inertian begins to lumber his way towards me. Their attention is off of me, allowing Murphy to escape. I give a nod towards Murphy's direction, telling him to go. He starts to run towards the door. I smile, content that at least Murphy would be okay. I look back over at the Inertians, resigning to my fate. I glance at Murphy once again. Out of nowhere, a large portion of the ceiling, right over the entrance blocking it. The rubble barely missed Murphy. Through the dust, a Lexer came out, standing on the rubble.
