*Creak*
The kitchen doors open and around 20 worn out knights entered.
They seemed to have come from training. These knights were all about to reach the rank of Great knights.
"Ah welcome, please take your seats. Everything is ready. Please eat your fill. The kitchen is yours for the night." said the chef with a smile.
The knights looked at the long table in the kitchen and their jaws dropped. As animal lusts to mate, these knights were drooling and lusting for the food.
"We shall take our leave. Enjoy." said the chef as he exited and left with the cooks to retire for the day.
"Boys! Let's eat like theirs no tomorrow!!" said a knight.
"Just hold back on the beer and wine alright!" said another.
"As if...." responded a knight as he took a jar of wine and gulped it all down in one breath.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!! That was... FUCKING AMAZING!!!!" said the knight.
The leg piece from the roasted animal was ripped off; cups were discarded, everyone had a jar. They ate the stew as a starving man would after not eating for 3 days.
The entire tabled looked violated.
As the knights were eating to their fill; 5 mins passed.
"Aham... AHAM!!" a soldier tried to clear his throat.
"I.... I... feel .... Tightness...throat" said a knight as he struggled to talk.
*Blaargh*
vomited the knights almost simultaneously.
One by one they fell on the ground. Their life, slowly fading away.
*CREAK*
A well-dressed man along with 20 men opened the kitchen door and entered quickly.
It was Leinad and the 20 assassins.
"Alright. Where are you guys hiding the bodies?" asked Leinad
One of the assassins came forward and opened a scroll.
As the scroll levitated mid-air and opened; it turned into blue flames and in the place of the scroll, a small 2-foot black hole appeared.
As if knowing what it was, the assassin quickly picked up the knights' bodies and tossed it in the black hole.
As the bodies came in contact with the black hold, their bodies cramped up, folded, shrink, broke and was swallowed by the black hole.
In 2 mins, except the ravaged food on the table, there were no traces that the knights were here.
Leinad looked in amazement as he had never seen such a magic.
"Al... alright. I already slowed you where the knight escorts quarters are and poured the poison in their food. My end of the deal is done. Where is my reward? Ask Leinad to the assassins.
One of the assassins came forward and said "'I Leinad would poison the guards and help the assassins take their place. Accomplishing so, the assassin will reward me with a chest of gold. The assassins cannot kill me should their mission fail or succeed.' These are the terms that you requested for, right?"
If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.
"Yes. That is correct" replied Leinad.
The assassin made an honest smile and brought out the gold from his space ring.
*CLING*
The sound of a chest filled with gold appeared in front of Leinad.
Leinad's eyes sparkled from the dazzling light of the treasure Infront of him.
"For a job well done, my master kept some extra treasures for you to protect yourself against thief's." said the assassin.
"A magic sword, trap ring Jewels and much more." said the other assassin.
Leinad was shocked. He got magical items as well. Now he can truly live like a noble. No more will he continue a life of servitude.
Leinad went down on his knees and grasping the gold and gems with both his hand and brings then to his face.
Tears fell down. He is finally free to do as he will.
As he laughed, he hurriedly tried on a crown, a necklace, the magic and a beautiful red diamond ring.
*Thud*
Leinads lifeless body fell to the ground.
"Ahhh the greed of man is such a beautiful thing." said an assassin in a satisfied tone.
He stepped close to Leinad's body and said "You killing yourself is not a part of the contract. After all,... I did warn you there was a trap jewel in here too but your greed made you deaf to my words and you used it on yourself."
He placed the treasure chest back in his space ring and nodded his head; 2 assassins picked Leinad's lifeless body and threw it in the black hole.
The black hole closed immediately.
"Alright. The Handler will be waiting with around 200 of our men. Arthemor will take an additional 15 men. They will be leading the convoy. We stay to the back and prevent anyone from escaping. Understood?" Explained the assassin.
"YES!!!!" said the assassins simultaneously.
**
Arthemor Manor balcony.
Lord Arthemor was standing on his bedroom balcony shirtless. His many scars were visible even in the dim light of the moon.
"My love, why are you still awake?" asked Lady Hilda as she noticed her husband's absence.
"I.... Could not sleep." replied Arthemor as he continued to stare at his city.
"Did you have that dream again?" asked Lady Hilda.
"..... Yes" replied Arthemor hesitantly.
"My love, it's just a dream. There is no need to overthink it" consoled Lady Hilda.
As the clouds dispersed, the bright light of the moon basked the land. Arthemor turned and as he turned Lady Hilda saw a clear drop of tear flowing down from his charming face.
Lady Hilda was shocked.
Arthemor walked towards her and said "Light of my eyes, I want you to listen to me."
He took of his ring. On this ring was the emblem of House Arthemor. The Uroboros.
"I want you to keep this ring with yourself. Should anything happen to me, give this ring to Dominic. He may prove to use it better than I can." stated Arthemor.
He then spent 10 minutes instructing Lady Hilda on what to do when their misfortune comes.
"My love, where is this coming from? You speak as if you are about to die" said Lady Hilda as she was about to cry.
"It's just a precaution. Think nothing of it. Haha" replied Arthemor as he tried to laugh it off.
Arthemor grabbed Lady Hilda's head and kissed her forehead.
"It's alright. As you said, it's just a dream. Let's get some rest we will leave early in the morning" said Arthemor in a comforting tone.

Dominic's bedroom
Dominic was just reading books even in the dead of night.
"Oh, I see, fascinating." said Dominic after reading the book in front of him
'So basically, fighters are divided into 3 categories. Warrior's classes which constitute solders, knights and other non-magic warrior classes. The mage class which constitutes healers, elemental mages, space mages and telekinetic mages, telepathic mage, dark mage, light mage. Lastly the divide class which has constitutes Majai's, Sages, demi gods and gods.' said Dominic to himself.
