Liontari forest
Dominic used a separate space ring to take the bodies of the knights who gave their live for his family. He used a separate one not because he looked down on them but because he was more practical to hand over the ring to the manor and let a person in charge take over the funeral in an opportune time.
As for his father's body; that will stay with him for now. the ring will keep his body fresh so it will not start decomposing.
Before the funeral, there will be an investigation on the knights who infiltrated their ranks.
It took him around 30 minutes to collect all the bodies who set off in the convoy with them.
Dominic finally went up to the unconscious assassins. He looked down on them as he was thinking of the countless torture methods, he was going to inflict on them. Right now, he was in a state of controlled rage.
*ZOOM*
Around 20 'zoom' noises came from all around. It was the knights and paladins of House Arthemor.
Lady Hilda came along with them too. One could still see that she was crying just before she teleported in the battle field.
"Dominic!" shouted Lady Hilda as she ran towards him to give him a hug.
She tightly embraced her son and asked "Why are you alone? Where is your father?"
Lady Hilda loosened her grip and looked around but she could not spot her beloved husband. She then looked at Dominic....
Dominic was shedding tears while looking down...
Lady Hilda tightly held her son's shoulders and asked again "Dom... Dominic, where is your father?"
Dominic lowered his head even further.
Lady Hilda's face turned pale. She let go of Dominics shoulders. Her mouth slightly open, her eyes were looking in the distant as if she was day dreaming.
She walked away in wobbly movements.
From her expression and the young masters lack of response, everyone could guess what had happened.
Lady Hilda could walk around 3 meters away from Dominic before she fell to the ground.
"MOTHER!!" shouted Dominic as he rushed to catch her mother.
"MY LADY!" all the men of house Arthemor rushed to her as well.
Dominic quickly placed his fingers on her neck to check her pulse. Her heart was still beating but it was extremely weak.
Stolen story; please report.
Dominic looked at a paladin with a golden uroboros sign on his shoulders and said "I will take mother to Arbiter Castle. there are four assassins who are unconscious; bring them to the dungeons of Arbiter castle as well." commanded Dominic, their new lord.
Just before Dominic activated the scroll, he remembered something else.
Dominic looked at the Paladin and said "There is one more thing."
The Paladin received a space ring from his lord.
Dominic then said "Around 20 of the knights with us were colluding with the enemy. I've placed the bodies of all our escorts in this ring. Find out who they are and how they managed to infiltrate us."
"Yes, my lord." said the paladin with a bow.

Arbiter Castle
Right in the castle yard, a loud 'Zoom' sound was heard.
All the guards stationed at the walls and gates turned and surrounded the infiltrators.
"Bring me the physician! NOW!!" Commanded a domineering voice.
The confused soldiers did not obey immediately. They looked carefully at the one who is commanding them and....
*CLANG*
All the knights and soldiers hit their armoured heels together, brought their clenched fist to their chest and said "Yes, my lord."
Around 30 minutes had passed since Dominic had arrived in the castle. Currently he was waiting outside the physician's laboratory.
*Creak*
The door to the lab opened
"How is she?!" Inquired Dominic
"My lord.....I...I.... please forgive me!" said the physician as he knelt in front of him.
Dominic got angry and shouted "Speak now or I'll have you skinned alive!"
The physician's face turned pale and said "My lord. the lady's condition is not good. It is not her body that is injured for which he became unconscious.....bu....but it is her heart. It is extremely difficult to bring her back. usually in such severe cases.... "
The physician paused. He did not wish to continue.
"Speak." commanded Dominic
"In such cases, almost every time, the patient died. It all depends on the person if they can let go of their sorrow. The physician hit his head on the ground and bowed as he cried.
Dominic was about to fall to the ground as well. He could not believe it. First his father and now his mother,
who could do this to them? His father was a respectable man and at least on the surface had no enemies.
who would go so far? who?
The two guards behind Dominic were ready to catch their lord in case his legs could not support him anymore.
fortunately, Dominic regained his composure. He exuded a malicious aura. Even the guards protecting him took a step back.
Dominic took out his sword.
He then thrust it down with all his might towards the head of the physician.
*BANG!*
The sword landed with such a force that even with Dominics mage class, it went 4 inches deep in the ground.
Luckily for the physician, the sword just passed his ear.
"I'm sorry, I could not control my anger. please go back and tend to mother." said Dominic with dark tone.
The physician crawled away back to the lab and as he was about to close the door, Dominic placed his sword on the doors lock and said "Remember, if she dies, you will join her."
The physician looked like he had aged 20 extra years in that instant.
"Y....Ye....Yes, my..... lord. I will do all I can. I promise." replied the physician.
Dominic then went to his tower where he performed his experiments.
Before he entered, he turned to the two guards and said "There will be 4 prisoners coming to the castle soon. When they do arrive, inform me immediately."
The guards did not even manage to respond before the door of the lab was closed on their faces.
They departed to inform the gate keeper and Ivar about the prisoners. As they were going, one of them said "What was that? Since when does the young lord give out such a terrifying aura?"
"I have no fucking clue. I Thought we are all about to die!" said the second guard as he took out a piece of cloth to wipe away his sweat.

If only the assassins and the ones who hired them knew what they had created, they would have never conspired to kill Arthemor but that is a tale for another time.
