I did not care any longer to wait slowly walking towards the human group, approaching them all with a disgusted look still on my face, I could notice they were all still busy trying to rip off the woman’s clothes to have noticed me approach them, but I quickly made them all aware of my presence however when I said towards them, “Well, then you wanted to die fighting a Demon, today is your lucky day human.”
The Human who was speaking before could not react in time, nor could he say a word before I started chanting a magical spell towards him before snapping my fingers together. The man before me slowly turned, trying to face the direction of where the noise came from, time passing by for us both in slow motion as I chanted in the vampire tongue, “Deadly as an explosion I could produce manifest this, 'Implosion.'”
‘: When Silvar finished speaking the words of magic, and as the snap echoed through the forest, there could be seen now a magical circle formed under Silvar and the Human who was the ring leader of the group. Silvar’s target instantly began to fold like a pretzel; under the amount of force the spell was asserting, the implosion spell was causing him to collapse inwards on himself. The human could not move, screaming out in pain, like all the others he was with watched.:.’
I could hear the human manage to muster up the strength to talk to his allies as I heard him crying, yelling at the others, “DON'T WATCH HIM KILL...ME...DO...SOMETHING.”
Saying out loud towards him, “Enough.” My eyes glowed, and the spell amplified. I watched as he collapsed in on himself, forming a sort of a weird human sphere-like ball. Blood could be seen spewing out of the newly formed ball as everyone looked at what just happened; it happened all within a blink of an eye. No one could have reacted to what I had just done, aiming at the others; that was when I heard the rustle from the bushes as the forces I had with me began to emerge from avail of darkness. Slowly beginning to form up behind me, before I could hear a familiar voice scolding me, it was Edgur.
“I make a plan... You ignore it; why do I even bother. We were waiting for them all to turn their backs. All you had to say was act, not go out there imploding one guy with magic. We could have gotten more as a team Silvar. Though I won't argue with the force you used...Even I was having a hard time watching what was going on in front of us. Alright, Red-Dawn, we have our targets, all the male humans who were attacking the woman will die; we will take the girl back with us to the capital, I permit the use of lethal force no one leaves here alive.”
I had been so used to being alone for so long now I had forgotten to tell everyone to attack. I could see the human force turned their attention from the woman now towards all of us; I could overhear a soft voice in the distance when I found out where the noise was coming from; it was from the slender female. She was still crying from everything that was happening to her, and I could not help but notice her holding herself while still half-naked on the forests floor; it was an awful sight to see. When Edgur, Locust and Aurora stood beside me with the Special forces behind us, the humans I could tell realized shit was getting real for them. Their real leader now stepped forward and tried to speak to us. Edgur and I turned to each other when we heard him trying to tell us all that in their language, ‘: This was a huge misunderstanding, and they will be leaving now, and that they only came here to chase a traitor down and maybe that they could come to an agreement?:.’
Edgur turned to me, asking what they had just said in our language, knowing I knew some of the humans' tongues. Telling him a summary of what the human was telling us, I then started talking over the man speaking to us in the distance with an angry tone in my voice. I cut him off and said,” We have come. Aso find some information out, and as far as we are concerned here, you are all uninvited; you are trespassing on Vampire & Succubus land. We could have ignored this with a warning; however, in the wake of all the bodies we have found and your admission of guilt and this unspeakable act, we will need you to come with us.” I could tell the humans were beginning to realize we could care less. Suddenly I saw one of the Human Soldiers started pulling out some scrolls and other magical items, telling the other men to, ‘: Prepare, Themselves.:’ Then activating the magical items and scrolls in his hand with haste, he ordered them to form up. The human force began to form, and our side did the same; I could not help but see while the man who ordered them to form up was not there looking for him. Instead, I could see he turned his focus to the girl on the forests floor.
I saw him begin grabbing the woman from the floor by her hair, smacking her, and yelling at her too, “Get up off the floor and help us now, give us buffs and other protection spells.” When I think I heard she replied, “No,” I could see over the men in front of us. The man began to continue to hit her relentlessly over and over again until she was unconscious.
At this time, I had seen enough and ordered Edgur to “Begin the attack and leave that guy to me.”
I could see the Red-Dawn Special forces began to charge forward, running past me as I felt the air kick up from the speed they used when they ran past me, I could hear Edgur giving them specific orders, ordering them to “Full on charge and to be on guard while they engaged the enemy.”
I stood there for a moment beside Aurora and Locust as both sides now ran at each other. When they met each other, I could see a barrage of spells shot off from our side with a volley of magical arrows and magical shots the following suit from theirs as each side's close-quarters fighters ran forward, dodging everything. It was at this time I shielded Aurora with the Magical-Cloak I had made,
‘: The cloak of souls Silvar called it. It was a magical item infused with his mana with the spell ‘Mana absorb.’ Thus, the cloak could almost absorb anything that had any magical output like spells or, in nature, magical items that would be fired at the user under tier 2:.’
Lifting my cloak, I could see Aurora's eyes glow in the dark briefly before returning to her normal. I could see from the worried look in her eyes she was scared. When I looked down and turned towards her, I started giving Aurora all my attention, briefly telling her,” Stay back, and make sure to stay by Locust; whatever you do, worry only about yourselves; the plans have changed a bit.”
After talking, I did not wait for her to respond before letting go of her hand and turning my attention back to the humans. My cape flowing in the wind as I spun to face them, I slowly began walking towards the human soldiers in combat. His forces protected him, but that would not change he was my target ranged users there or not; he was staying back commanding them. I could see my target going for him, and I began activating an illusion spell. Turning into a veil of darkness, I became invisible to the naked eye. I then began to walk effortlessly past everyone unnoticed. I briefly watched while all the Red-Dawn special forces and Edgur were engaging the others in combat.
I could see Locust, who was sitting back mildly enjoying how the fight was looking. While I was watching them, I could see Locust looking over at Aurora, shaking a bit, seeing all the magic, arrows, and fighting skills being used.
‘: Locust’ seeing her friend so scared brought a frown on her face before she asked,” How are you holding up? If you like, we could help them now or stay back. It is your choice.” Aurora was not used to any real combat, did not know how to respond to her friend, as she just continued looking over now at Edgur, who she noticed was in a hand-to-hand fight with one of the human soldiers. Edgur was having a blast, bouncing around jabbing the man consistently in the face while dodging every spell and strike the human tried to cast, making him look like a fool while saying,” Common, try a little harder; you haven't even got me to pull my sword out yet, this cannot be your best.” While the Red-Dawn forces were struggling, Edgur made it clear he was a cut above the rest, quickly disposing of the man he was toying with. He pulled out his sword, and with lightning speed, he struck the man once, activating one of his fighting skills severing the man's right arm and upper torso from his body. Many lights filled the area before the man made a blood-curdling cry before falling into 3 pieces. Edgur was trying his best to protect all his subordinates, but he quickly noticed already that 2 Red-Dawn had fallen, eyeing up the man who did it before yelling. “BASTARD. Claire and Vince form up; this guy is our new target. He dies now.”:’
I continued to slip by unnoticed for most of the battle, finally getting to where the man was before my illusion spell wore off. The man was still beside his men, but now he was standing over the girl kicking her and yelling all sorts of shit, un-amused how sad this man was acting before his final judgment I could hear saying to her in anger now yelling,” You damn bitch this is all your fault, Your the reason for all of this death and will be responsible for so much more to come you should have agreed to their demands.”
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Upon hearing and seeing how the man was acting, I responded with a chill in my voice,” Death comes for us all eventually. It's a force that is unstoppable no one can escape its icy grip.” The soldier I could tell was stunned how someone slipped by everyone and got this far unnoticed. I could see it in his eyes as he turned around to face me; the man speaking to him directly said in his tongue, ”You don’t know anything, your just someone like me following orders.”
Laughing at what the man said, I decided to reply and amuse him again in his own language,” Your right; I am nothing like you, now I will ask you to stop hurting that young lady and face me, tough guy.”
The Soldier quickly drew a sword and began to run forward with a tremendous amount of speed. It was like a bolt of light as he shot around the forest and towards me. I quickly jumped back, chanting some magical attacks while in the air, one being a tier-one lightning bolt, the other an ice bolt,
Chanting in my tongue,’: Thunder comes lightning strikes down onto the land,’ Lightning-bolt.:’ A large bolt of lightning started to form as the magic circle began to eclipse my arm and from my hand before a large bolt of lightning appeared in it. Aiming it, I started throwing it in the Soldier's direction, making sure not to strike the girl in the process. Then I began chanting, ‘: Darkest of nights coldest of days as frivolous as a chill a cold burn, ‘Ice-bolt.:’ A light blue magical circle appearing on my left as a cold icy chill started to release my hand now as I summoned an ice-bolt and cast that.
The soldier jumped back, avoiding the hit, which was what I was hoping for so that he could create some distance from the wounded girl, then; in a counter-strike, I saw the man now running forward as he activated a fighting skill and yelled,” Activate, ‘Sword-Dance skill.’”
I could see now as the man's body lit up in a bright yellow light that was blinding; next, I could see as he contorted and twist as he began to twirl around violently about like a tornado before springing forward, lunging me with insane speeds.
‘: Silvar, who was caught of guard as this attack was not magical in nature, did all he could, trying his best to avoid the hit, diving out of the way, Silvar still managed to get grazed by the fighting skill as it struck his arm; silvar rolled over and now looked down at his bicep, was slightly cut, he could see the red blood begin to run down his arm slowly.:.’
I could see my armour had been destroyed where he had landed the hit, and if it wasn’t for my armour, I might have lost an arm. I could see the cut was deep still. Getting upholding my arm briefly before activating a regeneration spell to close the wound, I looked up at the man who was holding his weapon and proceeding to slowly step forward and said, ”Well, it looks like your not all talk, try this on for size,” I started to channel in the magic from the forest drawing in every ounce of magical energy I could find. I began to activate one of the many Demon’s fighting skills, which was unique to higher demons, ‘
: The-Demonic-Flames of purgatory.:.’
The flames began to surround me as everything around me started to heat up. I could feel the heat from flames before I erupted in a black and white flame that was now covering my body. I was encased in the flames and on fire. The forest floor under my feet began to burn and turn to black ash with each step I took. Looking at the human man, I started running at full speed, leaving behind a trail of black and white fire with each step I took. In front of him, I slid my hidden blades out of his vambraces. Next, I channelled all the flames that were encasing my body into my weapon. The magical blades absorbed the fire and began to burn. With the Demonic flames burning from each of my blades, I started to strike with two forward strikes interlocking with the soldier's weapon. Each strike I was now landing with my weapon was slowly burning away the Soldiers sword, piece by piece; it started to melt and burn away. Not relenting, I continued my offensive, pushing the man back before kicking him back, then seemingly out of nowhere, pulling out my handgun from behind my back; without notice, I shot a few rounds at the Soldiers face.
The soldier I saw was quick to dodge the shots jerking his head left and right, narrowly avoiding the bullets fired at him by me, each shot ripping through branches of trees in the background before the man jumped back and began charging up an attack. The human began yelling and chanting, “Reinforcements,’ Reinforce my body for I am plentiful I alone bare this task. I pray to our gods and ask for divine protection.”
Next, the man I could see began to glow brightly a bit before the magical circle under him formed a shield around his body made out of magic. Noticing what was happening, I quickly shot at the man in an attempt to stop him from completing his spell. Emptying a full clip directly towards his face, hitting him with 3 of the 8 shots. I was shocked when the dust settled; it had absolutely zero effect while his spell was active. The magical ability he used or just finished was of a higher tier of magic than the rounds I apparently was using, which were tier 1.
Realizing now this was pointless and I needed to shatter the shield on his body to use my handgun again effectively, I quickly holstered it again, placing it behind my back once again.
I started clapping my hands now together before I started running one of my open palms over my blades, sliding my right then left hand over them. Chanting the magical spell,”’ Birth a new blade reforge into a new shape or a new size of my design ‘Reforge.’”
The blades began to grow into two long swords as I pulled the metal with my hand and stretched it. Each blade doubled in size, and each blade was still on fire with the Demonic flames.
‘: The soldier quickly realized that Silvar was no ordinary Vampire; he leaned more towards his magic than his physical or fighting powers like the others that were with him, confused by the actions of this individual he asked him. ”Boy, I have noticed you use a lot of magic. Perhaps you are compensating for something? Maybe it is your strength?” Before charging at him, quietly chanting the words. ”’ It strikes the brave, and it is mine to strike ’Fortune-Strikes.’”
I could see the man bounce around the forest floor, keeping up with him. Finally, he appeared before me, and next, he attacked. The strike went low, and as I went to block it with my swords, the blade began to faze and shift, disappearing before appearing at waist height last second. Having brought both my swords low, I could barely bring my shoulder up enough to block the incoming strike with my right blade. Barley being able to block the strike, the man took advantage of this and tested my strength; now exerting all of his energy into following through, I could not reflect the strike or parry it. He overpowered me, and the attack sent me flying back, yelling. “OOFFFF” Doing a few rolls before flying back into and hitting the dark oak tree I had shot moments earlier. Cracking it down the center, I could feel some of the bones in my rib crush upon smashing into the tree, and I lied there for a few seconds in pain, holding my side.
Before rolling over and trying my best to get up onto my knee, as I was getting up, I coughed up some blood, and then I veered my fangs for the first time in the fight, and the flames in my blades went out. I could see Aurora noticed me being sent flying into the tree, and I saw she was covering her mouth with tears in her eyes once she stopped. I saw Aurora quickly run over to my aid, activating her own Veil spell to make her invisible. Locust came following her, not phased by the combat, and deflected any strike or random spell coming for her with ease. She followed Aurora as I asked her to make sure no one attacked them, but it seemed everyone was too busy in their own fights to notice them. Aurora appeared before I crouched over with tears in her eyes, holding onto me; she asked,” Silvar, are you alright?”
‘: Aurora’ noticing Silvar’s armour had been damaged, and he was the previous cut and was bleeding down his left arm, was worried this would be the last time she would ever see him. She could also see in between his breathing he was coughing up blood. Aurora continued to cry, not saying what she wanted to as it was too much for her to handle; the love of her life losing his life in front of her eyes slowly, she knew Silvar was awful in hand-to-hand.:.’
I could see she was hiding something inside; something about her did not feel right. I replied to Aurora, who looked like she was having a breakdown, saying,” I am. It is just a minor cut, and please don’t cry. I promise I won’t get hurt. That guy over there means business, so can you promise me you will stay back? Alright? I do not want to see you get hurt, Aurora; even if it is a minor scratch on your beautiful body, I don’t know what I would do.” Locust was standing there; she had a little smile on her face. Turning to Locust now, I started asking her, “Continue to watch out for enemies and keep Aurora safe and away from them.”
Locust, with a smile on her face, replied in a cheery tone of voice,” Will do, Silvar, But are you sure you do not want us to help you? I could snap his neck and let you take the credit. You're looking a little beat up, handsome.” Then, brushing the dirt off the nerve of this woman, responding to her with a little laugh in my voice, ”I am fine. I could use a little magical support, though, to save some mana.”
The soldier kept his distance. I could see and stayed with his men while Locust was beside us; he could tell Locust was a serious threat by how she confidently moved around the battlefield and deflected spells effortlessly. Turning my attention back to the ladies, I could hear Locust laugh at the idea of me needing to save ‘Mana,’ but I could hear her then agree with me before saying to Aurora,” Well Aurora, you heard him give the man some buff spells.” After Locust said that, Aurora wiped her eyes clear from the tears and then replied, “Right,” I heard her then proceed to begin to chant a few spells as I began to stand up slowly while holding my ribs, she started to cast her spell on me, “The night govern us for we are her vessel, for she is our saviour darkness ‘ Darkness-Embrace.’”
Then I could feel I was wrapped in a dark veil of smokey magical energy that then proceeded to shield me in dark magical energy. Without a moment to waste, Aurora then proceeded to cast the second spell, chanting.” The hordes are coming and the pacts they made ’Demonic-presence.’” I could feel the energy inside of me regenerate as my muscles began to bulk and bulge and double in size. After Aurora gave me the buffs, she said, “Go kill him for both of us.”
