Did I transition to another world without passing away?

Quickly, Maimoun went to the window of the room, which was actually a door leading to a balcony overlooking the outside, and he opened it. He was met with the faint sunlight coming through the thick clouds and the strong wind that brought cold with it. Because his eyes had adjusted to the darkness of the room, Maimoun couldn't fully open his eyes, so he couldn't see the place well outside, but he felt keenly the drop in temperature compared to what he was used to in the palace foyer or his room.

"Truly, the cold weather outside is unbelievable. I can't believe that woman would force that young beauty to work in such weather. How much hatred must she harbor towards her to impose such a thing?"

Maimoun couldn't help but ask himself in a low voice, as he squinted while getting accustomed to his new surroundings for a few seconds. And when his vision adjusted, he finally managed to open his eyes normally. Now, he could get a clear view of what was outside, only to be surprised as the scene entered his eyes.

"Incredible, what a beautiful place!!! I have never seen such a breathtaking view in my life, despite the cloudy weather, and it hasn't been long since the rain stopped, but... this world is truly something else."

Maimoun was enchanted by the sight from the high balcony: a place lush with tall, verdant trees and grassy land, adorned with raindrops falling from the leaves and illuminated by the faint sunlight peeking through the clouds, adding charm to the beauty of the place. A cloudy atmosphere with pure, refreshing air devoid of the pollutants that mar the view or the atmosphere.

And this beautiful scene wouldn't be complete without the accompanying beautiful sound, which was provided by various birds of different shapes and colors with their chirping, akin to natural musical instruments. Maimoun had always been a city atmosphere hater and a lover of raw nature and countryside, so this scene was dear to him.

"It's truly a wonderful place, but is it worth all this risk?"

Maimoun closed his eyes and took a deep breath of the fresh air. He tried to gather all his thoughts and clear his mind upon seeing this scene and feeling this weather, attempting to negate any unhelpful thoughts that might negatively influence his judgment before deciding.

He stood there for a while without moving, letting the cold, fresh air enter his lungs and caress his skin. Although he felt the cold, it made him more alert and his mind more active. He didn't rush out of that state but took his time to gather his scattered thoughts. Then he opened his eyes, which were now calm, to analyze which path to choose.

"If I want to stay in this dream, the first thing to do is to solve the problem of women. What I've noticed so far is that this world doesn't suffer from any shortage of beautiful women, not just any beauties but the natural and rare type, not the common artificial ones."

The issue of beautiful women was not only a problem that arose in his mind but one that he encountered in the first moments in this world.

What Maimoun noticed during this short experience was that the women in this world needed only makeup and great self-care to enchant the opposite sex, and instead of being wonderful, this would be very bad in my current situation.

"Maimoun sighed at the situation he found himself in and the diverging paths that forced him to make a decision. Choosing between abandoning his dream, which he had hidden deep within himself due to its impossibility in his world, and staying to risk testing his self-control. If he didn't manage to control himself and strayed, he would be a loser, even if his dream came true, even it would be a thousand times better than he initially imagined.

"For a young man who has maintained his virginity for 15 years and hasn't touched a woman in his life, to see all this beauty is almost an impossible task. And the situation worsens due to my clothes and the palace I live in, and the way the maids address me. I must now exhibit noble behavior, so it won't be difficult for me to bring women to my bed and indulge in intoxicating pleasures, and this will be a miserable end."

The situation didn't allow Maimoun to lie to himself and pretend to be like the man who doesn't touch women in front of a group of women whose beauty has no equal. Maimoun put his hands on the balcony edge and looked at the magnificent nature, trying to find the right answer, or at least the answer he thought was correct.

He noticed something that made him laugh. On one of the many trees within his sight, there was a bird with beautiful and harmonious colors. What made Maimoun laugh wasn't the bird's appearance; in the end, the bird was pleasing to the eyes. However, its peculiar movements were another matter.

It was moving its wings in a funny sequence: one wing raised to the sky while the other was tucked to its chest, and its head turned in the opposite direction to the raised wing, then it reversed by raising the wing in front of its chest to the sky and moving the other wing to the front, repeating this sequence over and over.

"What is this bird doing? Why is it performing such strange movements? Is it a type of dance or what?"

Maimoun felt curious about this bird and decided to watch it for some time. The bird continued its strange dance at the same pace until another bird came and landed on a nearby branch.

This new bird was almost the same size as the dancing bird, but it didn't have beautiful colors; instead, it had dull colors. The dancing bird's strange movements increased in intensity, making the other bird approach it more and land on the branch where the beautiful bird was. While the beautiful bird continued its strange movements and approached the bird with dull colors, the other bird watched it closely, moving its head alternately to the upper right and then to the lower left.

This situation continued for some time, and the distance between the two birds gradually decreased until suddenly, the bird with dull colors flapped its wings and flew away.

"...What's the story behind this strange bird?"

Maimoun didn't understand what was happening now. He thought of a reason for this event but couldn't come up with an answer until he noticed a bird's nest. There was another bird with the same dull colors sitting there motionless for a while. After a period, another bird with the same beautiful colors came carrying a worm in its beak, descended onto the nest, and instead of eating the worm, it pushed it into the mouth of the bird in the nest."

"Now I understand what's happening with these birds. The beautiful bird with the strange dance is a male trying to court the female, the bird with dull colors. This was confirmed by the bird carrying the worm in its beak, which it brought to the dull-colored bird, presumably its mate, who was likely nesting, hence why she never moved and placed the responsibility of feeding her on her mate."

Maimoun couldn't help but admire this situation he witnessed.

"How the female has placed her trust in her mate and hasn't moved an inch for her eggs, while the male, who carried the desired food in his beak for quite some time without losing his self-control and eating it, all for the sake of his mate and their offspring that will hatch and emerge from it."

"But that poor other bird seems to have wasted all his energy in vain. Wouldn't it have been better for him to use his energy in hunting worms instead of pursuing females like the second bird?"

Maimoun fell silent for a moment and pondered the matter. When insight came to him, he realized:

"In fact, both birds with their colorful plumage have the same goal, despite appearing vastly different. While the second bird seems to have a noble goal of caring for his female and their eggs instead of the first bird, who appears reckless in his pursuit of females only..."

Maimoun began to see a solution to his dilemma through these birds, and the sparks of inspiration started to flicker in his mind.

"They both seek to form a family and take care of it. The only difference between them, and what made the second bird look for food instead of females like the first bird, is that he already had a female who would be his partner and hatch their chicks. Therefore, his goal now is to feed her so she can focus on their eggs. As for the first bird, it's still in its initial stage."

A smile formed on his face. Finally, he found inspiration to solve his problems in this world.

"Although it's a simple solution and lacks any creativity, despite it being the basis of the environment I was raised in... how could I have missed it? How could I have overlooked it? Strange."

Maimoun turned back to the room, determined.

"I have decided to pursue my dream, even though I have found a solution to only one of my problems, which are the most challenging for me. A world full of elves, mermaids, and half-beasts, a world teeming with beauties. How can I resist my desire for them? Simply put, I won't resist it; I'll let my desire guide me. After all, it's an instinct placed within us for survival. So instead of suppressing it, I'll channel it in the right direction through marriage."

"It's as simple as that; if I desire a woman, I'll marry her. Instead of treating her as a tool for fleeting pleasure, which may harm her, I'll treat her as my lifelong responsibility. If I let my desire roam free without binding it with responsibility, it will control me, and then I'll be a slave to it. That will be my end."

"As for marriage, my desire for women will be within lawful bounds, and thus, I won't mistreat a woman by treating her as a means to satisfy my desires or as an object devoid of soul. Instead, I'll treat her as my lifelong partner; her problems will be mine, and her joys will be mine. Her responsibilities will be on my shoulders. That's when I'll truly understand the meaning of the woman I desire."

"Therefore, I must be rich enough to meet her needs, and apparently, I don't suffer from a lack of wealth—at least, that's what it seems at first glance. Also, I must be strong enough to protect her from the dangers that may befall her, which seems like something I truly need. This means a great deal of work awaits me if I want to truly enjoy this world without regretting it in the end."

Maimoun's eyes radiated determination as he smiled confidently.

"I will live this dream in the best way possible."
