The Labyrinth was in control of Jessica’s body. Even though she had been affected by Easy’s incredibly strong neurotic poison, she could still stand and talk. Her face, however, was covered in sweat dripping down from her forehead, lips no longer had any colors and arms continued to shake uncontrollably.
Then, after gathering all of her strength to stand and regain composure, Teacher Jessica, or actually, the one inside her head, spoke and the walls again vibrated with every word she said.
“Answer me… How... do you know?”
“Ha…” Teacher Easy’s lips curled up, making an evillish smile while looking directly at Teacher Jessica’s soulless eyes. “So you really don’t remember me after all...”
“Non-sense!” The Labyrinth growled. “No human had ever escaped this place! Let alone… let alone … you… you...”
“Let alone... what?”
“Let alone…” Jessica took one step back and hugged her head with both hands. “... fought with Diaminos… and... survived?... Im… Impossible!!!”
“Ha.” Teacher Easy laughed again at the Jessica’s reaction. “Well, it doesn’t matter if you don’t remember me anyway. It’s kinda sad, but on the other hand… we won’t have to waste time to…”
“... CHIT CHAT!”
Slashhhh!
In the blink of an eye, Easy vanished and immediately re-appeared right in front of Jessica. His sword moved lightning fast, aiming to decapitate the corrupted teacher.
Vzzzt!
The sound of wind.
Yes, sadly, that means the attack didn’t connect. Just in the critical moment, Teacher Jessica’s body bent in a way that defines all the laws of physics and dodged that slash by a hair’s breadth. That move left Easy stood dumbfounded for a split second. Maybe… even he couldn’t predict that the demon still had enough strength to move like that after being affected by his strong neurotic poison?
“Tsk!”
“You!” The Labyrinth shouted in disbelief. “She’s a human! One of your own kinds! And you... even want to harm her!?”
“Who?” Easy asked back after standing back up straight. “Ah… You mean her? The one who betrayed us all? Do I look like an idiot? Please, you demons are…
Poof!
Vanishing slash again!
“... LAUGHABLE!”
Vzzzzt!
Again! The attack missed and left a line of blood on Jessica’s cheek.
Easy clicked his tongue. “I’m surprised. Even with the poison that potent, you still managed to move like that…”
He didn’t show any sign of impatience though..
Teacher Jessica then jumped back to a safe distance. Her wound closed in an instant but fear still existed in her eyes. And then, she suddenly fell to her knees.

“What… What the hell is this pain? This hammering pain! ...This.. poison! Arghh! My brain… Why .. why… why am I so weak… I can’t even ... move... the dungeon ... anymore …What… what did you do to me?”
“This?” Easy then raised his sword upon hearing the question. Drip drip … Some kind of red substance dripped onto the ground.
“Impossible! Don’t mess with me!” Jessica growled in anger “Poison can never get through my defensive barriers. Never! E...even if it does... I can easily cleanse it with my power.... But ... this… this is …. ARGGHH! … It’s making my head hurts like being stung by thousands of needles! What... What the hell is this!?”
“Of course!” Easy answered coldly. “This is the one I got specifically for you after all.”
“No… no way!”
“I’m sorry” Easy smirked again, “but I think you underestimated us humans too much.”
Indeed, Easy’s poison not only passed through the defensive barriers of the dungeon plants, but also managed to do that without the Labyrinth’s notice.
Just… what was that stuff?
“Human… T-tell me… who the hell are you!? You… You are NOT an elementary school teacher. No... There’s no way in hell you are!... Arrrrgghhh!!! My head! Damn it!... Wait… wait… this… my status… this is...”
Jessica’s face suddenly went white like it had been sucked dry of life force.
“Ah… it’s time.” Easy tilted his head. “You know, it’s just a matter of time before it appears in your status. And once it does, you’re as good as dead. So...
Thud…
“...good game.”
Teacher Jessica collapsed. Or in other words, the demon who was controlling Jessica no longer had any strength left to make her stand anymore.
“...Death ... Artifa… Sangui…”
“Sanguineus... Death’s Artifact… The Blood of Death,” Teacher Easy whispered to himself, finishing the demon’s sentence. Then, he reached into one of many pockets on his black trench coat and took out an item.
A vial containing some kind of glowing crimson red liquid, but it looked like there was only a few drops left.
"One drop... and there had been no sign of life in the Black Lake for this past ten years..."
Easy then stared at the vial for a while.
“Thank you… Emily_<3…”
The air then went silent. Tree roots on the dungeon walls started to become dry and shriveled, and the Wingless Bats one by one slowly turned to ashes. Laying on the ground, Jessica, no, the Labyrinth, let out its final words and for unknown reasons, there were tears in its eyes. “N.. way.. so... you… sur...v... ha... shadow… h.. ar...t”
But whatever it was trying to say, it was so weak that no one could hear it anymore. In just a matter of minutes, all that was left was just a motionless corpse of the one who used to be a beautiful teacher.
But…
Is it over yet?
“T...Teacher?” Blob_Blob was the first one to break the silent and asked. “Is… Is it…”
“No, not yet,” Teacher Easy shook his head and tightened the grip around his sword. “Stand back.”
The kids took a few steps back and stayed behind their dear teacher.
“There are two demons inside this place. We only defeated the first one. The second one…”
Bum… bumm…
The ground started to shake, louder and louder. Those sounds… like stomping sounds…
“Finally….
“Ha…
“haha…
“Hahaha…
“HAHAHAHAHA!”
Suddenly, Teacher Easy burst out laughing in front of his little students like he had already lost his mind! The kids didn’t know how to react to that so they only stood there watching.
BUM BUM BUM!
The ground shook harder and harder and harder! Those exploding sounds, one could tell that someone… or something, was running, and running very fast towards the group. Whatever this thing was, it must be very very very...
… HUGE!
BOOOM!
The wall exploded! A gigantic monster broke the dungeon wall and landed inside the area! Two giant shining horns, bull-like head, four arms and a pitch black body full of bulging muscles! If one imagines the monster was the size of a human, then Teacher Easy was only the size of a baby grass rabbit!
It even had two pairs of bat-like wings.
“MINOTAURRRRRR!”
Hearing Easy’s call, the monster flicked his head and turned like he got that.
“YOU!”
Teacher Easy immediately moved.
“[Sword art! Darkness lightning form! - ...”
“GIVE ME THE ANTIDOTE!”
“- Acceleration thrust!!!]”
An attack so fast that you might actually believe that it ended even before it started! All one could hear was just a BAM! like thunderclap. And let me tell you this, [Acceleration thrust] power is proportional to the user’s speed!
But!
Clang!
Boom!
No one knows what just happened. But whatever it was, it ended with Teacher Easy flew across the dungeon and got smashed into the ceiling. His sword, the one he used to fight hundreds of wingless bats just minutes ago, broke into a million pieces.
Easy then fell down and hit the ground with a bone-wrecking thud.
“Blargh!” he vomited out a puddle of blood. “Damn it… Reflection…”
Yes, the demonic Minotaur had some sort of damage reduction and reflection skills, and that made it the worst enemy for our assassin class Easy, who had the insane burst damage output but, as you already know, fragile as glass.
“Assassin class doesn't need Strength.”
