On his way to the shelter, he had made a detour to get his backpack. The people following him looked at him dubiously, wondering what he was doing.
Zack dug up a mountain of sand and pulled out his backpack, all dirty with sand. Standing with his back to the people, he pulled his mask out of his jacket and stuffed it into the bag.
"Sorry for the delay; we can go on," he said as he smiled at the group and kept pointing in the direction of the shelter.
One strange thing he had noticed about the group was that they were all late starters; there were no official students next to them.
It was strange but also normal since they were not brainwashed like the new entrants.
The shelter was already in sight, and everyone arrived without any problems. Zack noticed a group of people standing at the shelter's door, so he ducked his head slightly as he walked among the students.
They had sketched him while offering a reward. 'Fame would come eventually', he thought, but he didn't feel bad; he felt the better for he had stolen from those who mistreated him. This was Jame’s group.
He could tell, too, they were going through the other races' belongings, but not the humans. He remembered that he had told them "Humans", making them believe that he was not a human.
Despite stopping some races, they could not contain all of them because if they kept doing this, their group could gain the enmity of many, and it would not suit them.
Zack decided to go to the clothing store. He wanted to buy more, so he wouldn't be all the time shopping every time he had a garment break.
He decided to keep the same clothes he was wearing—a dark jacket with a hood, black jeans and another pair of black boots.
But his real goal was not to buy clothes. Being alone in a fitting room, he took off his T-shirt and discovered the tattoo of a scorpion on his right side.
He could feel a connection with the tattoo, just imagined imbuing energy and immediately activated.
Information began to flow into his brain. He immediately knew how to use the tattoo. I need to sacrifice an object to give it physical form.
For example, if he wanted the tattoo to take the sweater's shape when he activated it, he would have to sacrifice his sweater.
He didn't think much about what he was going to sacrifice, so he pulled off his mask, and the tattoo immediately reacted to his will.
Peeling off his body and attaching itself to the mask, the tattoo changed shape and returned to Zack's body.
Activating the tattoo, a scorpion-shaped mist-covered Zack's face and formed the devil mask. This tattoo had the advantage of creating an aura to cover the user's original, so he lost nothing by giving it to the mask, plus he could now walk around the shelter better. He could use his ability to cover his identity whenever he wanted. Still, he felt terrible that it had no other effect.

He took off the mask and left the place with the clothes he had bought.
He was on his way to the inn to drop off the clothes but decided to detour through a place without people and activate his mask.
Zack soon arrived at the inn but felt eyes watching him. He expected this since they offered a bounty on his head, but only a fool would dare to wreak havoc inside the shelter.
He spent that day and the next without leaving the shelter, but not out of fear; he wanted to see what the group would do against him.
On the second day, he noticed that the pirates were also watching him, but they were not as interested as James' group.

When he had the chance, he took off his mask and looked for the group he had arrived with. To his luck, they were also looking for him.
"Zack, where have you been, boy?" asked one of the group as he smiled. Zack had treated them well and showed them how to get to the shelter, for which they were very grateful.
"I was running some errands, but I'm free now. I was thinking of going hunting. What will you guys do?" he asked.
"What a coincidence, we are going hunting too. How about joining as a group?" asked Aaron. This is who was the leader of the group.
"Fine by me, it would be easier to hunt if it's in a group," He said. But deep down, he just wanted to give himself credibility. He couldn't be going in and out of the shelter, and no one seeing him. He needed someone to say he focused only on physical skills and had a support skill.
The group left the shelter, and walking through the desert; they came across a group of spiders the size of a tire like the ones used on old vehicles.
The group went into formation. They had three warriors, two elementals, one fire and one wind and Aaron, an assassin.
The group began to attack the spiders. But the ones who made the best team were the elementals.
The fire elemental sent a blast of fire while the wind elemental scattered and controlled them the best way.
Zack was at the front with the warriors and Aaron, who were amazed at his fighting ability. They knew he was strong because when they found him, he was alone in the desert and had survived, but what they saw was too much.
The beasts were basic, but he killed them as if he were in a game. However, it took him several hits to kill a spider.
What amazed them was his freestyle of swinging the sword and attacking more than one spider at a time, reducing the time to kill a group of spiders.
The group finished fighting the spiders. They had annihilated a total of 23 spiders.
This time they would not be wasted because the group had three support people, excluding Zack, of course, who would tie the spiders together and move them.
The group continued hunting for a few hours as they accumulated more and more corpses. They made a total of 83 carcasses which would be divided among the 9 of them.
The group had hunted about 8 medium level beasts, and all the others were basic.
Zack was given one medium crystal and eight basic crystals. Zack knew that if he hunted alone, he could get more, but he needed this.
The group returned to the shelter, but when they arrived, they discovered something interesting. There was a group of students wearing Pandora school uniforms.
None of them belonged to the free hunt, but the school soldiers even accompanied official students.
The group split up and dispersed around the shelter. Zack wanted to know what they were doing here, but he didn't have a mind and decided to leave. He would eat the 9 cores and the level 2 core he still had in storage.
He got lost in the crowd as he put on his mask and reached his shelter.
[Basic level 2 sandworm core consumed]
[1 to 20 attributes will be gained]
[+20]
[Medium level 1 arachnid beast core consumed]
[1 to 10 attributes will be obtained]
[+7]
He finished eating the cores and got 51 points, added to the 13 points he had previously after consuming the snake. He had a total of 64 points.
He wanted to distribute to his stamina and control. Still, if he wanted to keep his identity as Zack, he had to become physically strong as well. Hence, he distributed the points differently this time.
[*20 points assigned to Strength*]
[*20 points assigned to Agility*]
[*10 points assigned to Essence*]
