Chapter 5

" [Throwing Weapon Construction I] "

Throwing Weapon Construction I (Unavailable.) Urchin Dart. Bone throwing Knife. (Unavailable.)

As I said the word, a screen appeared. It showed me a lot of unavailable options, though there were 4 options I could access: Bonemerang, Urchin dart, Bone throwing knife, and Stinkbomb.

Touching these options would send me into another screen. Most of the screen was the information on how to create the weapon manually by using photon or I could use Cosmos credit to instantly make the weapon but I couldn't modify the weapon if I did it this way.

While wondering what was the deal with the modify, I switched to Trap Construction I and it had the same screen and rules as Throwing Weapon Construction I, and I assumed the rest of Construction code would have the same screen. Anyway, Trap Construction I had 4 available options: Alarm, Wire, Snare and Caltrops.

And it seemed there were two options to increase the list from my would increase simultaneously with my Database, in the simplest way, the more I explored this planet and met more creature, the more options I would have.

Though... the real problem started right here.

Bonemerang and Throwing bone knife main ingredient was bone, Alarm could be created by anything that could make sounds, starting from tiny bell to a vocal chord or a tongue, Caltrops and Urchin dart ingredient were urchins, spikes, nails or fangs... and there was a dog corpse laying right in front of me, fresh and had most of everything that I need. But... the problem was I never had skinning or gutting anything before.

Back on earth, most of the ingredient I bought was a processed one. Heck... I couldn't even dare to cut open the frog in biology class.

Then again, I already killed the dog and it would be very inhumane to kill it and leaving the corpse to rot. In my mind, the least I could do was scavenging its body part.

With a deep sigh, while wondering why I didn't just turn the dog into an experience, I created another dart and carefully skinning the dog.

While sighing to my clumsy work, wondering if I did the right thing. I was surprised to find everything except the bones, fangs and eyes were green, green meat, green blood, green organs... well... I assumed that was normal on this planet.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

Next, I created a bone-throwing knife using Cosmos credit and manually constructed bonemerang using photon.

With 10 cosmos credit I instantly made 10 bone throwing knives, Yes, the same blue lines were circling on the bones and voila, they'd just turned themselves into a sharp bone knife.

And when I manually constructed the bonemerang, the blue lines were covering my hands, a screen appeared telling me what I should do and showing me the weapon diagram. I faithfully followed the screen instruction such as bending the bone, drawing a line with my fingers covered photon, and after I spent around 10 minutes, I managed to create one bonemerang.

Taking out several Episoths to clean my hand and emptying some space on my storage, while putting the weapons and the dog corpses into the storage, two screens appeared right in front of my face.

Bone throwing knife Damage Type Quality Effect Special Property 12 Cut, Pierce. 10 - - Bonemerang 15 Bash. 8 +1 Strength -

...Even though I spent more time making the bonemerang but it had worse quality than the other things. Then again, maybe this was what the system meant by modify. Seemed like the quality and the other things would depend on how well the creations process went.

After resting for a while, I continued to walk. Avoiding the moving trees, the dogs, finding another green coloured pond, finding a walking mushroom, normal sized birds and dog-sized birds, small insects and human-sized beetle.

As my sneak rose to rank 3 and my athletic rose to rank 4, I noticed I was in a more thinner part of the jungle and to my surprise, I didn't notice any kind of dangerous presence on this spot.

Sitting down, while wondering what I should do. I decided to do a little jog near around the area until my running rose to rank 2 while making a mental note about the Earth's debt.

With 41 trillion as the monthly interest alone and assuming the interest was 1% for each month, multiply it by 100 that meant we had 4,1 quadrillion cosmos credit as our total debt. 0,001%Si of that meant 41 billion as the down payment.

But... the fact that I already reached more than 100 cosmos credit and if I assumed 7 billion people multiply it by 100, shouldn't we can already use the portal?

Then again, the 7 billion was what my professor told me, not to mention the unregistered people.

Sighing, my steps grew slower and weaker as I did more calculation than the running. In the end, several conclusions crossed my mind, starting from my professor data was wrong by a very high margin, or they didn't get a single General Code; albeit impossible, or most of the human already dead or there was some kind of method we needed to use to pay the debt; though if this method exist I believed the system would tell us about the detail.

Then again, this kind of thing wasn't important right now. It wasn't like I could and want to gather 41 billion so that everyone else could use the portal.

Yes... what important right now was focusing on my own survivability, searching for a steady source of foods and waters, the safe spot for resting, raising my levels and lastly collecting the cosmos credit.

Congratulations! General Code: Running have reached rank 3!

"Oh..." I muttered as I snapped back into the reality. It seemed while I was deeply thinking about unimportant thing and plan, my legs were still moving around.

Feeling contempt with my half-assed training result, I decided to stop my training and started to surrounding my camp with wires, 10m for each side.

Taking some of Episoth fruits, before the sky turned dark, I managed to manually create an alarm trap and several caltrops before I went to sleep.
