Originally, I had just planned to search for water source while wondering what was general code, but in the process, I learned another general code, Athletic Rank 1 just by walking around; earning me another 10 cosmos point.
But I quickly stumbled upon several problems. I stopped, sweating lightly from the constant walking, I kinda regretted I rarely did any physical exercise when I was on Earth, and my Health reduced by another 2 points. I supposed Health was my general health condition, including my stamina, sickness, and something along the line.
The next problem, I gritted my teeth and faced the truth. I saw a pond laying right in front of my face but the water was green, and my brain instantly assumed it was undrinkable.
My throat burning unpleasantly. After much thought and several sighs, I decided to rest right in front of the pond and opened my menu.
There were five options on the menu: Status, Codes, Database, Social and Interdimensional Storage.
I already knew what Status was, so starting from the left, I clicked on Codes.
A new menu opened up and showed me two bars. The first bar was General with (4) and the other bar was Techer with (2).
I guessed (4) and (2) meant the bonuses that I got from choosing Techer. Starting from General it was: Cut weapon, Stab weapon, Bash weapon, Ranged weapon, Throwing weapon, Flexible weapon, Natural weapon, Shield, Cloth armour, Light armour, Medium armour Heavy armour, Trinket, Implant and Tools.
The text from Techer bar showed exactly the same as before, and I would assume this was the class skill though in this case, class code.
I rubbed my chin as I put my thought into these options. If this was a game, I would choose the weapon first and then choose the code but considering all of my codes were Constructing, it seemed it was the best decision to choose the skill first and check whether or not I could make the equipment.
After a few minutes of hesitation, I clicked on Trap Construction, considering this would be enough to keep me safe at night, and Throwing Weapon Construction, considering I didn't want to fight face to face not to mention I didn't have a gun and the ammunition or something along the line.

Unlike the last time, I didn't feel any change in my body but I felt like several pieces of knowledge were being planted into my mind.
And when I checked Techer menu bar it already contained the description from those codes.

It seemed everything in the construction category had two different functions, one of it was constructing with a material for a permanent amount of time and the other one creating without material with a limited amount of time. Though it was strange that Trap Construction 1 really provided everything that I need, maybe I was lucky or this was what the Augmentation prepared either way, I continued to check the other options.
For proficiency, I chose Throwing and saving the other three for later days, considering I didn't know what I should take or what kind of situation I was in.

The database divided into two menus: Codex and Chart or basically a google and GPS. Codex further expanded into an Organic and Inorganic material while Chart expanded into a Universal chart, Galaxy Chart, Solar System Chart, Planet Chart and Local Chart.
My lips immediately curled into a big grin when I noticed these functions. Although most of the things in Codex was greyed out, seemed like I could scan the object and it would let me accessed the object's data, and the information of the pond that was laying still right in front of my face was undrinkable at least for my species.
After reading the explanation with a face full of disappointment and relief, I held my urge to slurp the water and swallowing my own saliva as I continued exploring my menu.
Social seemed to be our communication feature, though I assumed I must enter the said person ID before I authorised to add them as my comrade and the other party must accept my invitation; the other feature was Title and Records, both of it couldn't be accessed.
Interdimensional Storage allowing me to put things in my own pocket dimension but there were several limitations such as the weight limit equal to my Bulk though it didn't tell me the exact measurement, the volume limit Equal to my Strength, and I couldn't put living, sentient and intangible things.
After everything was done, I lay down while wondering what I should do for my next move, suddenly my stomach rumbled unpleasantly, to tell the truth, I knew where some food located. While I was searching for the water source, I had spotted strange spherical green fruit in the jungle surrounding me.
At first, I wanted to eat and bring some with me but considering I didn't know whether it was poisonous and as far as my knowledge went, there were several fruits on earth with poisonous skin.
With a long sigh, I stood and walked to my previous path. No matter where I go The jungle swayed softly, almost felt like the trees were watching me, and made me shivered, but I still crept out and tiptoed towards the treeline.
When I reached the spot with more denser treeline and ferns, which extended for several feet before the vine-encrusted treeline. And right around this spot was the place I saw the fruits.
But I hesitated to take another step, considering the moving tree from before at the very least I knew some of the trees were really watching me. Though my hunger was beating my anxiousness.
I stopped for a while to catch my breath and think. I could continue to walk slowly, trying my best to remain quiet, or I could simply dash in and search the fruits, and then leave. But because I didn't know the exact location of the fruits, I chose the conservative sneaking route.
And as I began to continue walked quietly, I learned another General Skill Sneak Rank 1 and my Athletic rose to Rank 2; both of them earning me 20 cosmos point. And even though I didn't know how much a sneak rank 1 would help me but it still boosted my confidence that I might be able to pull this off. I slowly skulked my way forward, pressing aside the trees, watching any suspicious activity, and avoiding any moving trees.
Finally, I peaked around a particularly thick trunk, eyes scanning. No animals, no movement. But there was a tree that was crowded with spherical green fruits, around 10 meters away from me, located on the less dense part of the jungle.
I began creeping down in that direction, my heart beating extremely heavy in my ears. When I reached the trees, I had another problem; I didn't know how to climb a tree.
Pathetic it was though I did know how to climb it if it had a staircase or a rope or the starting branch.
But considering the tree height, its first branch was 5 meters away from the ground and the width... it was bigger than my body, sure enough my hands couldn't circle around the tree. While I wondered how should I climb it, I circled around and inspected the tree, searching for any hazardous things such as knots, rotting spots, insect infestations, bark damage, and holes.
There was no such thing located on the tree, and this tree didn't seem to be a moving tree. And with another rumbling sound coming out from my stomach, I took a few steps back and ran at the tree. Planted my foot against the trunk, pushed my body inward and upward with my foot and jumped with my other foot at the same time, and reached up to grab the branch with both of my hands.

Still hanging on the tree, I couldn't move any of my muscle because I was speechless, even though I'd just wanted to check the tree sturdiness and how high I could jump, I never imagined myself to be able to jump this high and succeed in a single attempt.
Well, first things first. I lifted my body and continued to climb my way to the fruiting branch. The spherical green fruit was a little bit larger than an apple with a squishy body. From the codex, it told me the fruit name was Episoth and it was edible. Without hesitation, I widened my mouth and crunched at the fruits. It was sweet, juicy and ripe, filling my mouth with a wonderful fruity taste. He had to spit out some seeds, but initially, it seemed like they were good for eating and had enough juice to make me hydrate.
Satisfied, while I was eating another one, I remembered about the box and jokingly said " [Interdimensional Storage] " While hoping I could put the fruits onto my storage. Though, the fruits on my hand suddenly distorted and sucked into nothingness.
...If this was a normal situation most of the time I would take my phone and try to record this incident. Though this time I calmly opened my Interdimensional Storage menu and the Episoth fruit (Half-Eaten.) was listed.
With a big grin, I continued to climb further and put every fruit into my storage and around the time I couldn't put anything into the storage was when I realized I was being watched. Different from the passive watch from before, this time I was sure it was a hostile one.
