Eraak drew in a quick breath to calm his nerves. He was anxious since he had never been in this type of situation before. In every other instance, he was able to kidnap sinners without a hitch. All his kidnappings were prepared beforehand, all except this one. This event caught him by surprise; the unnerving power Eraak felt brought him here, of course, he should’ve realized that others in the area would want to investigate the unknown power also.
If only he had thought this through and calculated it beforehand; instead he let his excitement get the better of him. Now, he was in deep trouble causing his hands to tremble a little. This wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for the creature he held wasn’t a sensitive leech.
And this leech, in particular, was far too important to kill accidentally. Across the galaxy, these leeches were known as the Siberian Selfic, a mutualistic organism that gives its users the ability to become scentless and invisible at the cost of their blood. Making it a perfect creature to use for stealth. Of course, there were drawbacks. One, for example, was that the ability could only last for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the size of the leech itself.
From what Eraak currently possess was a medium size Selfic that was most likely able to last for 13 minutes at most. Handling them with care was the top priority, one mistake and they’ll die, and so will he.
This was his last leech. Without it, there would be no way to hide Jon from sight. Upon knowing this, Eraak breath once more before carefully placing the mouth of the leech onto Jon’s forehead, sticking in place as it starts to drink Jon’s blood.
He patiently waited, gripping his shirt in hopes that the demons were still far off from his location. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. From a distance, he was able to hear the beat of wings approaching rapidly. They were arriving far faster than he had predicted. Thoughts ran through his head in any way to prolong their arrival. Eraak needed to by time just for a few minutes for the leech to complete its process, another disadvantage this creature had.

Suddenly, an idea abrupted in his mind. The idea was to distract them with a beast, a beast that one of his colleagues had captured far back in his early years. Since then, she gave it to Eraak as appreciation for being her trusted friend, and even offer him a summoning spell that she had found in ancient ruins of a dystopian city off a war-torn planet, long lost in archives. It was known as Del Deverion.
The difference between this summoning spell and the regular one was that the user didn’t require a contract with the summoning creature. Instead, the user can capture a mindless beast of any kind, then enchant the ancient spell and the animal will be teleported inside a pocket dimension created only for that specific user. Fortunately, the creature, while trap, doesn’t need any substance to live, they are mainly in an unconscious state, immortal and bound to the spell until either it or the user dies.
A benefit of the spell was that it granted the user full power and control over their summoning. Essentially, they were able to restrict their skills, power level, or even control their bodies, although, the latter does pose a series threat to the user’s stamina, which Eraak wanted to avoid.
Eraak’s strategy was to divert them from his location, and not just those two but also the rest of the demons near this vicinity, giving him just enough time to exit out The Central unnoticed. Eraak felt reassurance that his plan was going to work.
With boosted confidence, all Eraak needed to do now was the procedure for the ancient spell. He used his nail to cut his right palm as the blood trickle down, quickly he clapped his hands together, with his left horizontal and the right vertical, he steadily moved his vertical upward, leaving a trail of blood on his palm.
“Now then, let see this plan in action.” a smirk was plaster on his face as he quickly turned around with his left fist high in the air, "Del Deverion!" he yelled as he punched the obsidian ground, simultaneously a massive explosion erupted on the cliffside. It has begun.
