Six months later…...
Emelia screams out in the throes of birth. No one else was in the room as she had the grand creator ensure perfect delivery. He had moved them last month to a highly secluded mountain region where they could hide. The grand creator had also bestowed upon them a scrying Chrystal that would show random events around the empire of light.
Emelia screamed once more before the baby she had named Alexander Andromeda Taylor floated into the glowing being's arms. Abyssal black eyes stared unerringly forward. The child didn't cry or make any noise, and the only sign of his being born alive was his chest's powerful movement.
I bestow upon you a familiar, so you may not be lonely, spoke the being. I also bestow upon you a weapon to use when you are ready. The last two gifts I give you are an abyss bag and an enchanted map, the last of the magical maps created by your dark spire predecessor, a part of your people you will learn about soon enough. The bag and map appeared beside each other, and a beautiful sword sat atop them. The unsheathed blade seemed to absorb all light, and black miasma fell from the black gem in its hilt. The hilt was an opaque crystalline structure that seemed to absorb the room's light and spit it back out as darkness, shining ever so in the darkened room.
The grand creator took a necklace from his neck and put it around the neck of Alexander, and he spoke the words beware of tragedy, young one, for your life is sure to be problematic. Then the grand creator vanished the next moment, and Alexander appeared in his mother's arms.
It would be sixteen years before Alexander left the seclusion of the hidden valley.
CHAPTER 3
Awoken.
The first thing I remember after my Death in another world is the face of my mother smiling down at me. It seemed to glow her silver hair framing incredible bright grey eyes that seemed to shine with their internal light. The next thing I remember is the system awakening in me the grand creator's gift to every intelligent being born in the infinite world. The system was exactly like the setup of some of the most iconic games from Earth in my previous life.

I remember reaching for the screen before Mom made it vanish before my eyes. I looked up at her and couldn't help but feel hungry. So I lived the first five years of my life peacefully. The moment when Mom finally showed me the sphere of seeing was the first moment I learned that love and hate could live in the same house over the next year. She only allowed me to use the sphere between classes that she showed me through the sphere. She filtered out any propaganda being spread by their side and focused me entirely on the academic side of learning magic and many other common/uncommon languages across the lands. My favorite subject was after she went to bed. I would sneak out of bed and focus the sphere on an ancient-looking man teaching children only slightly older than my six-year-old swordsmanship/survival skills. The next five years passed in a blur—me sneaking out of the house at night to learn survival crafting and swordsmanship. At the age of eleven, though, things changed. Mother didn't turn it to academics one day but to a mode that switched between random events. She looked at me sadly before leaving the room. The terror I saw that day would live with me for years. I saw a man on a field of thousands take a man's head from his shoulder. Next, I saw the love of a family. Next, I saw the decree of a richly clothed man with a line of people looking up at him with love in their eyes. Then I saw a dragon curled around her eggs, sitting out the season of ice. Later a group of men wielding white magic began to stab her until the last thing she could do was look at her eggs and, with her dying breath, make them disappear, moving to a location away from prying eyes and the lands of mortal men.
Next, I saw something extraordinary, a cake. I had only ever had one in this world, but this cake was in front of twenty or so children my age. One of them blew on five little flames then the image shifted to a small room with many rich-looking men and a few dour-looking women who appeared to be serving the men, but what stuck out was the woman chained to the wall. She was my age, with grey skin like mine, pink eyes, and white hair. She had sharp teeth. Her eyes opened, and our eyes locked. I could see that the grand creator was letting her see me. She whispered in desperation for me to find her. She called me her prince. That day, I decided I would become powerful enough to save the girl whose name I didn't know.
Five days later, I summoned my familiar as I hadn't had enough mana.
The summoning circle sat before me. My mother had made me draw it out from an ancient book, and she had pulled it out of the locked closet. She also pulled out a sword, backpack, and map with it.
