Unbeknownst to him, Wu Tian had fanned the already blazing flames of competition between two sects.
Back to the carriage, the Earthen Prism Sect's sect master was gloomy, listening to the old man in front. "Sect master! How could you say that! What are we supposed to do?! We already had trouble with them for a while, are you even confident in fighting her off?!"
Luzhen Jie smirked in self-deprecation, rattling his head. Blood surged to his brain trying to think of something, but in the end, he could only double down. "So what if she is Two Stars? It's almost the same as the Warrior Realm, the difference between One Star and Two Stars is not so great." Clenching his left arm, a pale red aura surged, mixing with a purple glow. His pupils constricted. "If we really do end up fighting, then I am not scared!"
The old man seemed to become even gloomier than Luzhen Jie during the rest of the ride. He only sat in silence, coldly looking at the empty air in front. May the Divines bless our sect...
Within the Sky Sovereign Sect, Sun Xieren sipped on her teacup. After a few seconds, she gently put it back down onto the small table at her side. The maid silently poured a bit more translucent liquid into it. It did not seem to be steaming, but rather cold.
A pair of shining icy eyes emptily gazed at the world beyond the mountain, ignoring pillars and guards, shadows and assassins. It had been a couple hours since the meeting. Her pupils suddenly changed size, narrowing her eyes. She remained mute.
A few minutes later, she gently waved her hand, ignoring the flickering shadow rushing into an orange lit doorway within a thicker pillar to her left.
At the foot of the mountain, its domain spanning kilometers, Wu Tian and Guizou explored the area. They followed the white path, soon reaching a gate protected by two Mortals. A simple throw of rocks later, they were lifeless on the ground.
Killing had become so easy.
Climbing the gate silently, Wu Tian was directly met with an upward continuation of the path. It was a slant and then a staircase. The surroundings were still similar, green earth and trees neatly arranged on both sides. But the more he climbed, the less greenery was left. After ten minutes, he was already left without obstructions to the horizon.
Half an hour gone by, Wu Tian was dozens of meters above the ground. The mountain seemed to be endlessly tall, not discouraging him. The view was actually quite magical. Since a few minutes earlier, the grey sky was soon void of clouds, leaving behind pure blue.
The lit white mountain was like a tower going above the world, the perfect blue around exquisite. Fresh air was wafting around his nostrils, brushing past his skin. Wu Tian felt like watching this scene forever. But soon, the mountain showed a flaw. In front of him, the slant and stairs slowly disappeared, the mountain's width suddenly decreasing. Some distance ahead, the pearlescent mountain was dug. A rectangular doorframe awaited atop a few more steps. Its insides were orange, flickering lights emerging from it. Shadows appeared and disappeared, voices soon to be heard from them.
The sect is inside the mountain? With how sparse the trees were on the white path's sides, Wu Tian and Guizou had seen some structures, but not many. Less than five total. However, with the area's coverage, there should have been potential for way more.
Carefully advancing, Wu Tian was right in front of it. The doorframe was just a little bit taller than he was. Peeking inside, the whole mountain turned from a bright shade to a deep orange. It was like going into a titan. The skin had been bypassed, leaving behind the flesh.
The orange uneven stone walls, floors and ceilings made it quite peculiar.
The voices of before were better heard, some disciples talking about mundane things. He sneaked inside, but was immediately caught by two Mortals. They stood on each side of the doorframe, hiding above on makeshift platforms. "Who are you? Identify yourself!" Having no time to argue, Wu Tian unsheathed his longsword, throwing it to his left before jumping to his right.
The speed was too high, the longsword impaling the Mortal on the left. The blade directly pierced his heart, causing him to panic. He screamed from the pain and fear, alerting other people. As for the other one on the right, Wu Tian reached the platform five meters high and punched the man's skull to mush.

Landing on this thin platform, he saw rations and books piled up. He ignored everything, jumping again to the other platform, soon retrieving his tainted longsword.
Looking down, dozens of disciples wearing orange, grey and white robes gathered below. Some pointed fingers at him. "Dammit." Brandishing the longsword in his remaining left hand, Wu Tian casually slid down. He landed without problem, silently staring at the crowd of fifty. Judging by their auras, the thirty orange ones were the weakest, the grey robed people a bit stronger, and the white robes the strongest.
The strongest amongst the white robes were a young man and woman. They looked like siblings of bleached hair. Both of them were stronger than he was.
Fortunately, their innate pressure barely compared to the Flowery Vines Group's guards.
Guizou immediately intervened. "Do you need help kiddo? Facing fifty people with two level five Warriors isn't going to be easy." Wu Tian scoffed, sparring his master a glance. "Master, let me test them myself. You might realize how much stronger you are compared to normal people. I don't believe every Warrior to be as strong as you are when we spar." The corner of Guizou's mouth curled up. "I don't deny it, but you could also be wrong and end up in danger."
Muttering to himself, the group ahead frowned. Was this young man crazy?
Wu Tian's body forming scales of dirt and stone, his entire being emanated pressure. Standing still, Qi began to flow into him. His greed attracted the more gifted Warriors' attention. This was not normal. "Prepare yourselves! He's about to attack!" The orange robed disciples were pushed behind, while the grey robes tried to make a play. But the five white robes shook their heads, stepping in front of them all. "Retreat and call for Elder Song." The grey and orange robes tried to flee, but a sudden pressure caused them to trip.
Facing them all, Wu Tian's body turned heavier by the moment. The more Qi he absorbed, the more his body would condense pure weight. Fortunately he was not affected in the least.
Seeing the man's full body armor turn thicker, the five white robes unsheathed their weapons. But before their very eyes, the old man in armor suddenly shifted through light. His image turned into a blur, crossing the mere eight meters separating them all in a single step. The weight they could clearly see strain the orange stone beneath was like a bunch of feather. A lie to the mind.
A blade rushed from left to right awkwardly. But the sheer might sucked the air like a vortex, slowing them down ever so slowly. The blade then slashed as intended, each moment erupting fear into their frail hearts.
Trying to block, a halberd's haft was sliced in two, ignored, before the owner was also decapitated. The next one in line was the young man from before. He used a straight and thin dagger to contend with the sudden blow. His right arm was being pushed back due to the awkward angle, forcing him to use both hands. His tall body was then lifted off the ground by the momentum, sending him flying to the side. The longsword still in motion, the next in line was another young man. The blade passed right through his spear and sliced off his upper body from the middle of his shoulders.
Two down, one pushed, two more to go, Wu Tian's longsword was losing some momentum, but the sheer weight of his move surpassed his baseline by multiple folds.
Seeing the power sending her apparent sibling across the giant room made the young lady holding a staff pierced by many rings retreat. Her back step let her out of range, but also doomed the youngest of all five. He was still in a daze, his One Thousand Pounds cultivation base ignored fully as a bloodied blade ran through his skull from the ear. The upper portion of his face had been shaved right off.
Some of the leftover disciples of grey and orange robes paled at the sight. Some vomited rudely.
Three Warriors below the third level decimated like kids facing a mighty dragon, Wu Tian's left arm halted mid-air.
A fading pause disrupted, the dust on the right was cleared, revealing the young man of before. He patted his white robes and clenched his teeth as he massaged his mandible. "I didn't expect so much raw strength from an old man like you. Are you so senile that your pitiful cultivation base makes you feel invincible? This is the Sky Sovereign Sect!" Shouting louder and louder, the young man was filled with rage. Having let a weaker opponent send him across the room like a toy was humiliating.
"Sis! With me! Let's show him the might of the Sky Sovereign Sect's core disciples!" Two fifth level Warrior jumping at his figure, Wu Tian's armor was still brand new. He brushed off their threats and held the blade tightly. Half a second passing, they were already close. Taking a powerful step back, Wu Tian regained some distance as the two landed where he previously stood. His left hand suddenly palmed with the weapon still in hand. An earthly shockwave erupted in direction of the young lady. She crossed her arms from the dust it send to her face, suddenly feeling a strain on her forearms.
Glaring daggers at him, the young man jumped again, holding his dagger, ready to chop the enemy into pieces. "Naïve!" Finally feeling the true level of a normal opponent, Wu Tian's longsword was aimed in front. He took a simple step back, infuriating the Warrior who just landed. "Do you only know how to jump like a monkey?" Before the youth could contest the comparison, Wu Tian's negated his backward momentum before exploding with the opposite.
The longsword's sharp tip only took a few moments to collide with the young man's throat. "?!" Frowning in confusion, Guizou was then heard into his dumbfounded ears. "Aiz! Don't forget that he is a level five Warrior! Your sword is only low grade." As he understood the words, Wu Tian saw the tip of the blade crack. It did not break, but the damage was quite obvious. Looking some more, he suddenly noticed another thin hairline crack near the middle, where the dagger had collided during their first, one-sided exchange.
This is unfair!
Guizou sighed. "See? With a bit more strength your sword would have snapped already. If not for the angle, momentum and the opponent's soft defense, the blade would have never held until now. You can only go with your bare fists."
And how do I do that?!
