Skills Explained
Skills are fragments of concepts that make up reality. As there are an endless amount of concepts, there are an endless amount of skills.
Skills are typically not tied to any class and are not given by any class [With the sole exception being the Sorcerer class path.] The relationship between classes and skills is one of mutual aid. Classes grant Attribute points that aid in the effectiveness and progression of certain skills while skills elevate an individual's
proficiency in using their attributes to the fullest.}
A good example of this are the skills Body Tempering & Qi Cycling. These are skills anyone can learn prior to selecting a class and being locked into one way of progress. However, the rate in which one's related Attribute would increase would eventually become abysmal without a Qi related class's aid. However, most factions of any of the four disciplines of power across the Eternal Realm regularly have those before 7 years of age learn and utilize certain skills to build a better foundation prior to receiving a class. For Wizards & Sorcerers, most notable families & organizations learn the Mana Manipulation skill before selecting their class.
[Skill Archive]
An individual can only have twenty skills available to them at a time. When they discard a skill, they lose all knowledge of how it functions and it enters the Skill Archive. Any Skill discarded reverts to G Rank if retrieved again from the Archive. The 20 Skill slot limit is universally enforced by the Heavenly System. The sole exception the Heavenly System has is towards Constellations. They have their skill slot limit doubled because they are fused with a concept. Otherwise, they risk regressing in power through discarding skills.
[Skill Creation]
Skill Creation involves high levels of comprehension. Those with a high Mind Attribute are the most adept at this which is why Wizards are considered extremely dangerous by all other factions.

Different tiers of the same skill are fundamentally different and the gap is tremendous. Similar to when a skill's rank is increased but at a much larger scale.
Items are tiered the same as skills and their grading system is the same as the skill ranks. Items that require a certain rank of skill to create or items that can harm beings of a certain Step are graded accordingly.

------
Every Skill can progress to SSS Rank.
All Skills start at Rank G.
- A skill & their rank can be shared with a single other individual.
- If someone has a C Rank Swordsmanship Skill and shares it with a student instead of teaching the skill, they too will gain a C Rank Skill of Swordsmanship.
- An individual can only share a skill with a single individual throughout their
entire lifetime.
- This feature of the Heavenly System is how Major families and dynasties remain in power.
