Chapter 0.2: Classes Explained

Mortal Progression: Classes

Ever since the dawn of time, Mortals have been gifted Classes by the Heavenly System.

There is a total of four base set of Classes that have branching paths when evolved. Mortals are able to choose a class & start leveling at the age of 7 years old. The sole exception are Sorcerers. { All Sorcerers are born with the class due to it being hereditary.

Sorcerers have a collection of spells that unlock within their minds as they level up. Something no other class does. } Classes evolve every 100 levels. Each time a class evolves, so does the race of the individual. Each race evolution is called a Step. Race evolutions grant massive amounts of attributes across the board and can extend lifespans greatly. Moreover, a Class Ability is gained when a class is selected and when they evolve. They are are essentially skills related to a specific class.

- Example class evolutions:

- Cultivator --> Sword Disciple --> Sword Practitioner —> Sword Elder

- Martial Artist --> Swordsman—> Sword Savant —> Sword Saint

- Wizard --> Earth Magus -->Elementalist

- Sorcerer --> Void Whisperer --> Void Kin —> Void Apostle

______

Base Classes at 7 Years old. Once a Class is selected, they cannot use an opposing energy. Cultivators cannot use Mana & Wizards cannot use Qi.

[Martial Artist] - Utilize Qi to Refine the body.

- Leveling requirement: Refining the

Body with Qi. Utilizing skills that push one's body. Will not get XP for Refining one's soul with Qi.

- Main Attribute - Body.

- Secondary Attribute: Mind

- Starter Class Ability: Heavenly Body Tempering Technique

Advantage: Due to Body Tempering methods & the Class’s Main Attribute, they tend to have higher Body Attribute than their level would otherwise indicate. They are physically superior to all other disciplines on average. However, some diligent cultivators that use Body Tempering can be exceptions.

[Cultivator] - Utilize Qi to Refine the Soul.

- Leveling Requirement: Refining the Soul. Utilizing skills that involve Qi. Will not get XP from Refining one's body with Qi.

- Main Attribute: Soul.

- Secondary Attribute: Body.

Starter Class Ability: Heavenly Qi Cycling Technique

Advantage: Due to Qi Cycling Methods, they tend to have a higher Soul Attribute than their level would indicate. This makes their Lifespan typically higher on average than all other disciplines. But their major advantage is that their intent & Aura are on average beyond other disciplines, allowing them to pressure higher level individuals and have more potent skills.

[Sorcerer] - Utilize Mana through inherited knowledge of spells imparted as they level. Their aptitude in learning skills outside of their Inheritance is the lowest of the four progression paths.

- Leveling Requirement: Increase mastery over Sorcerer Inheritance.

- Main Attribute: Soul

- Secondary Attribute: Mind.

- Starter Class Ability: Legacy Tome of Magic

- Advantage: Due to having an Inheritance linked within their soul & mind, they can relearn skills they previously discarded at a much faster rate.

[Wizard] - Utilize Mana through research & understanding.

- Leveling Requirement: Increase understanding and repertoire of spells.

- Main Attribute: Mind.

- Secondary Attribute: Soul.

- Starter Class Ability: Mana Sight

Advantage: Due to their high Mind Attributes, their comprehension is higher on average which aids in skill creation. Wizard families and organizations tend to have a much higher stockpile of skills to pass down to the next generation.

—————

Attributes

- [Body] - Represents the culmination of physical capability. This Attribute refers to coordination, senses, agility, physical strength, and durability.

- [Mind]: Represents the culmination of mental capability. This Attribute refers to memory, comprehension & mental defense.

- [Soul]: Represents how capable one's soul is. This Attribute refers to Lifespan, Instinct, Intent, Aura. If strong enough, one's soul can keep one's identity intact through the process of reincarnation.

- Intent is the potency of a skill within their perspective Ranks. Those with high intent vs someone with low intent clashing with the same skill in both rank & tier would always result in the one with the higher intent having an advantage.

- Aura is the physical manifestation of one's Attributes being conceptionally brought into the physical world. The effects of doing so vary greatly depending on the level of the individual.

Attribute gain in classes:

- Main Attributes Increase by 2 points per level

- Secondary Attributes Increase by 1 point per level.

- All classes grant a single free Attribute point every 5 levels.

{Killing other living beings by itself does not grant XP. Only specific improvements related to a class will result in progression. Improving in techniques and mastery of their given energy are just some examples.}
