Hans awoke with blurry vision to a white room.

He wore a white patient's garb with a drip attached to his arm and three medical officers bustling around him.

General stood at the far wall in his civilian attire.

His wife and baby stood with him watching Hans.

A nurse sat beside his bed with the Hynx on her shoulder and the rest of the team waited outside.

“God?” He said as he came to.

The General chuckled and shook his head.

"Idiot." He stated through the chuckle.

The hynx exclaimed, jumping down onto the man.

He smiled warmly and embraced it back, although with much effort as his body was still in considerable pain.

“So this is our hero hey honey?” Mrs. Lyanus asked The General.

Hans was in a happy delerium.

“What happened? Where's Bob?” He asked in a gleeful daze.

“The plan worked, that suit kicked you into hyperdrive and you eviscerated the monster, all of his drones dropped dead after that.” The general explained.

“The Hunters waiting outside, he wouldn’t admit it but he’s happy you’re still kicking.” The General said.

“We thought the suit killed you.” Added the nurse.

“Me too, it felt like hell, how did you get it off?” Asked Hans.

One of the medical officers turned around to answer.

“Well it wasn’t easy, but we had to formulate an anti serum for that super serum you yourself discovered all those years ago. The suit only bound itself to the strongest, most hardy mitochondria and those were being made by the compound you formulated. Once we stripped that, the suit peeled itself right off, nearly killing you though, it took me and my whole team the whole fortnight to keep you alive while doing so.” Said the medical officer with pride.

“So I’m… mortal now…” Hans said, almost with relief in his thoughtful gaze.

“You’re a hero, and a free man, you may go about the galaxy as you please.” The General said as he saluted the man in the medical bed.

Hans sat up and thought for a minute.

He stood, pat the Hynx on its head, took his drip out, then walked to the General, shook his hand and embraced him, kissed his wife's Hand, tickled the baby and then walked out of the room.

Everyone just watched and followed.

He walked straight to where Jalaab sat pestering Donny.

“Drunker? You’re up already?” Donny said in surprise.

Hans hugged him tightly before pulling back away offering up his wrists.

“You can take me in now fuzzy.” He said with a nod.

Bob looked stunned for moment, shaking his head slowly before letting out a laugh.

”Put your hands down and come on, I need a drink.”

After the two merrily drank together for a while, the hunter left Hans to lie unconscious in his vomit in the back of his glider as a free man as he took the wheel.

The hynx followed Bob to the cockpit.

It was finally time to get to work.

He opened his hud and tapped the ‘new bounties’ options.
