“Here lies the one who has surpassed death.”
-Edelein
She had surpassed death, but to achieve such a feat required forfeiting life. Her body and soul lay here suspended in time, inanimate, but not dead. She has not usurped death. She had simply slain death, but with this she had also slain life. Such is the problem of duality. A coin must have two sides, to lose one side means to lose both sides. Time has not stopped yet, it will whittle away at her prison until it breaks releasing her and reviving death. Until then both life and death sit at her side waiting to claim what is rightfully theirs.
