"My name is Nanya Laplace, 2nd daughter of king Lowen Laplace. Pleased to meet Hero-sama"
Carl raised an eyebrow at the sudden introduction of a king's daughter. His eyes went and scanned the figures clad in armors and lady dressed as servants behind this 'princess'.
"A Princess? What is the meaning of this?"
Carl's usual haughty attitude caught up and made the guards tighten their grips and the ladies in waiting gasp.
But the princess maintained her smile and spoke:
"I understand that hero-sama is confused by his sudden transportation from his world. Let me take the liberty to apologize for the inconvenience that this has brought upon you."
Nanya gracefully bowed her head to Carl, which made the people behind her clamor in disturbance.
The scene of their princess bowing her head to some unknown human induced shock and headache to her attendants.
"Princess?! W-why are you bowing your head to that nameless man!?"
The head of the guardsmen exclaimed angrily towards Nanya. But she just responded with a confident tone.
"Why, you ask? Of course, because hero-sama had been summoned here against his own will and we have an obligation to take responsibility for his well-being."
Nanya turned her head to Carl and smiled. Which he returned with curiosity in his eyes.
"A summoned Hero, huh?"
He rummaged through the deep memory of his for information on summoned heroes in different timelines.
Hero summoning. An act, a ritual. Where a country sacrifices something to the God of time and space, Cael. To bring forth a being with limitless potential to become strong.
Unlike normal inhabitants of this world. Those who came from the rift that Cael made is 20 times faster in getting strong synchronized with their limitless potential.
Heroes like these made for a trump card, superpower. But more than often they used them for times of great calamity, like demon lords.
Carl's memories bumped into an interesting information about summoned heroes. They all have something in common, that is.
The love for 'Fantasy'.
Once summoned, they undergo the basic training and subjugation of low-ranked monsters for their quick growth.
The last time that summoning magic is at it's abudance was the time of the '32 Demon lords of Chaos'.
The god of chaos, Bargon created these 32 beings with unparalleled power with thoughts of destruction in mind.

Humanity did their best they could. Sent their most powerful and valiant warriors only for them to die a dog's death.
Amidst this time of despair. The church of Cael, god of time and space. Whose power is dwindling by the lack of followers, revealed something to the world.
"Our most supreme being, Cael-sama made a revelation."
Spoke the top holy woman of the church.
She revealed that each country can make an offering to their god Cael, and in exchange gain an enough power to stop the march of the Demon Lords.
At first the human world was suspicious, councils of the human society believed that this was nothing more than madness of lunatics who's terrified by the upcoming end of the world.
But one of those countries tried the said method out of sheer desperation. That country is a vanguard and at the most forefront of the war. So they thought they had nothing to lose and heeds the words of the church.
To their surprise the summoning worked, at the cost of the youngest child of royalty. A young man appeared on the shrine appearing confused.
At the start, the king was enraged, felt that he was cheated and tricked of his own son's life. But soon the summoned Hero proved his worth.
He rallied the country's soldiers and took the 30th demon lord's siege head on.
The outcome of this was the beheading of the enemy general. Demon Lord Ooka has fallen and the demon's forces was in turmoil after the death of their leader.
This led to the other countries believing the church, and each of them initiated their own summoning.
'If i think back about it. That was some unpleasant memory, i can't fathom how much concubines human kings have, to make 10,000 offerings.'
Carl returned back to the present situation with a handful of useful information in his mind.
"T-thank you for your consideration."
Carl appeared as flustered as possible, to give the impression of a naive boy lost in place.
"It's nothing to fret over. If i may, could i ask hero-sama's name?"
Carl put up a nervous smile and said:
"M-my name is Kaguya Kazuto."
Nanya seemed pleased as she took Carl's hands and grinned widely.
"Well then, hero-sama. Let us go to the castle for your official appearance."
Carl smiled faintly.
"Y-yes."
At the same time as he spoke those words his shadow moved and disappeared alltogether before being replaced by another shadow.
Nobody noticed this strange phenomenon and nobody in this place has qualifications to identify the Shadow magic of a chaos god.
The shadow materialized just outside the giant temple. Casting invisibility on himself,
Carl stood beside a tree as he watched the 'other' him, being taken away by the princess and her lackeys.
"Well then, how should i go from here on out?"
He already confirmed the location of his Church and the name of this temple built atop his old home.
"High Temple of Cael... I don't know why they decided to bury the forest for a giant structure like this. But, I'll make sure to pay the little shits who did a visit."
Cael checked the entirety of the forest using God's Eye. Only one thing remains for him to know.
he turned to the princess and asked.
"Princess, does this 'world' has an adventurer's guild or something similar?"
Nanya twitched by the sudden question. The hero beside her has been quiet all this time, looking nervously left and right, now he asked a question as if he made up his mind.
"Of course hero-sama. Aeristolis shelters the 2nd largest Adventuring guild in the world, and also It's guildmaster that is an S-Class legend whose prestige is known around the globe!"
Nanya puffed her chest proudly and her graceful appearance crumbled for a moment, seconds before she realizes her blunder.
"cough! That said, why does hero-sama want to know?"
Nanya turned to the quiet 'Kaguya'. He stared at empty air for a second before replying.
"Ahh.. Back in my world i always dreamt of becoming an adventurer, travelling around the world, defeating evil monsters.. –"
'Saving the princess'
'Kaguya' felt awkward saying that in front of a real breathing princess so he just turned and straightly asked.
"Where is the adventurer's guild?"
Nanya's head tilted in confusion by the hero's words.
"Umm.. The guild is large and conspicuous you can get a glimpse of it from afar in the capital."
"The capital... Huh.. "
'Kaguya' the hero stared off into space again before cheerfully smiling at the princess.
"Thank you for telling me!"
The Goofy smile of 'kaguya' and the sudden silence afterwards made Nanya curious if heroes from another world was always this peculiar.
On the other hand.
Carl flew leisurely at the level of the treetops towards the kingdom of Aeristolis. He listed the things to take care of before playing around as an adventurer.
'I'll make a full Homunculi later and imbed the memories of 'Kaguya Kazuto' into it.
Of course such things as own self and consciousness would be blur, but he should be able to appear perfectly human to others.
Kaguya Kazuto is a name of a summoned hero Carl met while his time role playing as the Chaos God.
An unfortunate young lad that was forced to the front lines in hopes of him achieving victory and glory.
The country where he was summoned was in one of the frontlines of the battlefield.
'If i remember correctly, the 2nd seat demon lord done him in.'
He didn't stood a chance against a demon lord holding one of the 10 seats.
At that time Carl was roaming the battlefield possessing demons after demons. But he saw an interesting figure of that of a young man, saving his comrades neglecting his own self.
He didn't even flinched when he came to save a comrade from a Catastrophe class demon when he himself isn't even a match against a weaker one.
"Ahh, i thought it was a good idea giving him a glimpse of the enemy leader before he died."
Reminiscent of his deed, boosting the power of several broken-willed human soldiers to break through the lines.
This has let them charge through the demon encampment where a haughty busty lady with brutally curled horns awaits.
A pretty face distorted in displeasure entered Carl's mind.
"Maybe i went too far at that time."
Let pasts be bygones, his motto. Surely she wouldn't despise her creator wouldn't she?
Carl was in doubts, not sure what lurks in the heart of the demon lords he created.
Kaguya Kazuto died by the hands of a pretty lady. Sure he was satisfied, thought Carl.
He felt somewhat responsible for the untimely death of that young man. So He ate his soul so it doesn't enter the circle of reincarnation and stored his memories in itself.
So that he would be brought back to life with full memories intact. Carl did decide to erase the memories of his past after the summoning.
Troublesome emotions would only remain if he lingers on blank regrets after all.
The time for Kaguya's resurrection has come.
'I plan to put minimal amount of will, so it doesn't come haunting me afterwards.'
The appearance of the 'Kaguya kazuto' now is the face Carl has been using for the last decade or so.
"Which means i should change this face now."
The space around Carl distorted and thick shadows covered his figure. His black and rich hair was replaced with a thin blonde color.
His eyes which naturally holds a gentle look became more timid.
"Aren't i becoming more of a prince with this look?"
Carl scoffed at his own changes and finished the transfiguration.
Now his face is done, he should be speeding up towards the capital.
Carl used a spell and his figure disappeared completely while the winds ahead sharply roared by the pressure of the air splitting speed that passed them.
"I have arrived... "
The hero Kaguya kazuto mumbled something making Nanya turn her head to the side.
"Is the carriage comfortable for you hero-sama?"
Nanya asked, which Kaguya responded by saying.
"I am fine, princess. May i ask when will we arrive at the capital?"
Familiarity could be felt from the way Kaguya talked to the princess.
This made her attendants grit their teeth in discomfort. But the princess herself doesn't seem to mind.
Instead she was happy that the first Hero she had met is a gentle, kind and friendly person.
"Yes! We'll be arriving at the capital within a day."
