Prologue

At the farthest reaches of the ever-expanding universe, amidst the vast and mysterious expanse, God and its celestial offspring were deep in the midst of a secretive plan. Enveloped in the frigid, inky blackness of space, their presence was as enigmatic as the void around them. In this remote frontier of the cosmos, where darkness prevailed, distant stars twinkled faintly, reminiscent of those seen from Earth. Amidst this celestial gathering, one large figure stood prominently, encircled by five smaller beings. The only discernible feature in the profound darkness was their eyes, which shone with a piercing, luminous white, hinting at the profound power and wisdom held within.

“God, it’s about time that we set the plan in motion, no?” One of the smaller figures chirped.

“Yes, I think it is time, my children,” the large figure replied. Its voice was high-pitched and mouselike, not something one would expect from God. “I have been bored watching my greatest creations, the humans, do nothing these past 300,000 years.”

“Shall we begin the connection then?” Another one of the smaller figures said, its voice trembling with excitement.

“Yes, it is time to usher in a new age of humanity,” God chuckled, waving its giant, skinny, gray hand.

As God’s hand moved, a giant brown planet started forming out of thin air. It was like a brown scrunched-up newspaper that pulsed around its surface, growing and expanding.

God laughed in its high-pitched voice, a grin running along its face, “I can’t wait to see what the humans will do!”
