Chapter Three: Days you wished would never end

“Hi Dad.” Yin said breaking the silence that enveloped the atmosphere around her and her father who stood before her at the door.

“Oh--oh Yin your--your back.” The elderly man at the opposite side of the door who was her father stammered slightly.

Another aura of silence enveloped around the two as they continued to stare at each other, however not seconds after Yin’s father reached his hand over and slowly pulled the veil covering Yin’s face down before slowly corseting her face slowly with gently.

“Why are you covering your face it doesn’t bother me anymore there is no need to cover your face.”

“Ok~, if that’s what you want I won’t anymore.”

Yin said softy as a stream of tears flowed down her face unknowingly with her father gently brushing her tears away with his thumb.

“Don’t cry my child there is no need for you to cry you do not need to feel sorry for me anymore if anything I should be the one saying that I’m sorry after everything I’ve put you though.”

“No~, no~ there’s no need to.” Yin Chen embraced her father in a tight hug burying her head into his chest.

Her father returned the hug before looking over to the car parked in front of the house where Yang Yansi was noticing that he was looking towards him, Yang Yansi waved and shouted through the open window.

“Hello Uncle Chen it’s good to see you in good health.” Yin’s father returned the wave as Yang Yansi drove away leaving.

“Well come on it getting dark let’s get inside.”

Guiding Yin inside while closing the door behind them the pair walked into dark house, Yin’s dad then walked out from behind her walking to the wall and press something into the holopad the only light in there.

Within seconds the lights in the house light up revealing the absolute mess that the place was in, clothes lying around the floor, garbage bags littered the floor the kitchen looked like a grenade exploded in there.

“Ha ha~, sorry if I had known that you were coming in advance I could have cleaned up the place.”

Yin’s dad said shyly while starching his head seeing Yin’s reaction to the state of the house.

“I don’t think that would have changed anything seriously old man you need to take care of yourself better, I left you only for a couple of months and the house already become like this-“

Yin sudden stop seemingly staring into one area in the house though her father upon seeing that immediately knew what was going to happen.

“Whoa easy there sweetie just wait a bit.”

Gently placing the veil that Yin was wearing before over his eyes, and had her stay where she was while Yin’s dad quickly walked off as Yin could hear something being covered.

After a minute or two listening to her father move around the house did he come back to take the veil off of Yin’s face.

“Ok~, that fixes thing no need to get active.” Her father said as he gently lifted the veil.

Opening her eyes the large mirror that was at the corner that she was staring at just now was covered by a large blanket.

“Sorry dad.”

‘No need to apologize my dear child there’s nothing you need to be sorry for, come you must be hungry I'll cook something for you.”

Her father walked off into the mess of a kitchen opening the fridge to look into the contents within.

“But before that I think we should clean up the house first before that.” Yin said as she picked up her father undergarments that was lying on the floor.

“Ah haha~, I suppose so.” Her father meekly replied seeing that as the two began the long chore of cleaning the house.

After the tiresome task of cleaning the house to have it resemble an actual home for humans, the duo was sitting on opposite seats at the dinner table having a calm peaceful dinner. Where there were a variety of different plates between them, though instead of touching their meal however the two were more engaged in a friendly chat like that of a typical family.

A simple dinner meal with a father and daughter on the table, the father being the middle age man with a messy look with a few dirt stains on his face, the daughter too was in no better state with multiple dirt stain all over her pear white skin around her face and arms. Yin was not wearing the dress that she wore when she arrived. The casual outfit she wore now was a lot more revealing, wearing only short pants showing off her long bare legs. Her upper body was even more revealing with only what seems like, a sleeveless and backless halter-top blouse. It has a single rectangular, rhomboidal, diamond-shaped piece of fabric which only covered her breasts and belly, tied to the back of her neck and waist with strings.

Overall its would be very stimulating for any man who look at her but her father didn't seem bothered by this.

“Ha ha really that’s just silly~.” Yin laughed while covering her mouth listening to her father talk.

“Oh~, no-no that was what he said- oh we’re out of tea.”

Yin’s dad raised his cup to his lips while they were talk and realized that it was empty then he reached for the tea pot and found it empty.

“Alright I’ll go boil some more.” In response to this Yin attempted to get the pot from him and boil more her dad grabbed the pot and placed his hand on her shoulder prompting her to seat back down.

“No~, no Yin seat back down you just got back and besides you’re the guest in this house so just relax daddy’s got this.”

“Dad~.”

“Now - now my house my rules just take it easy.” He cut her off giving her forehead a small peck before walking off to the kitchen.

Yin watched as his back disappeared behind the corner; she quietly got up and began to pick up the plates ready to clean up the table; however something caught her attention in the corner of the coffee table in the living room. Slowly she walked away from what she was originally doing and approached the coffee table. It was a massive stack of letters and documents seeing the amount Yin got curious what it all was as she took the entire pile as she took a seat at the couch while slowly going through the pile.

As she was reading through them her eyes widened slowly replacing the curious expression that was originally on her face.

“Okay Yin the tea ready-.” Yin’s dad came back from around the corner of the kitchen however he noticed she was not at the dinner table and saw her at the coffee table looking over something; he couldn’t see what it was so he walked over but as he did.

“Dad what is this………what is all this?” Yin asked her father slowly getting on her feet facing her father while holding onto a stack of paper and envelopes in her hands.

Seeing what was in her hands he stooped in his tracks with a shocked expression on his face, he staggered backwards almost drooping the tea pot in his hand so he quickly set it down on the dinner table.

“That is nothing-“

“I’ve only left you for only a couple of months so where did all of this come from?” Yin asked in a stern voice as she was looking through them, slowly walking towards him.

“Yin it’s nothing you don’t need to-“

“What the hell’s with all these documents......debt payments, loan payments, unpaid bills what is all this?”

Yin looking through the stacks of papers in her hands looking more and more horrified by the second seeing what sorts of documents that they were she stopped for a moment to look at her father locking eyes with him.

“Yin don’t-“

“We did not have this problem when I left for that stupid school drill so can you tell just how in the few months that I was gone, all of this showed up on this house’s doorstep. Last time I checked our finances were fine we never even needed to take out a loan I made sure of that, I got us covered so what is…”

Yin stopped her words before looking back to the paper in her hands, as her eyes came upon the contents of the letter of the loan payment that she was skimming through

“Mister Alex Chen…..” Yin’s voice grew cold so cold that even her father flinched at the sound of her voice.

Before Yin’s eyes trailed off of the letter that she was reading locking her eye with his as he stared back without blinking meeting her gaze head on.

“Dad…..have you been talking with that whore?”
