Chapter 7:

Chapter 7:

Within the dark corridors with the sunlight that has begun rising over the city horizon its light seeping through the darkness within.

A single figure within that darkness glowed with a seam of sliver light when the light hit upon its surface.

The figure stood over another figure within the darkness seemingly tucking the much bigger body frame down on what seems like a bed in the small light.

Sudden a light ring resounded in the dark corridor hallway echoed throughout the area behind the silvery figure.

The figure hearing that sound walk away from the dimly lit site of the bed coming onto the dim sun light seeping in through the curtains hanging on the windows

That figure was Yin Chen walking out of the darkness like that of he was wearing it around her body like that of a cloak.

After walking a few feet back into the darkness he came upon the living room where the sound was coming from it was coming from the telephone. Walking slowly towards it he waved his hand around in front of him and tapped at the air in front of him towards the direction of the holo screen that appeared over the phone, though he was still a good two to three or four meters away from the phone he could see what was on the digital screen.

Seeing what was projected on the screen Yin Chen quickly moved from his positions leaving only blurs at where he was originally standing at.

Yin Chen closed all the blinds on the windows around the living room, covering the room once again in a blanket of darkness. Not even opening the lights leaving the room pitch black in darkness and without even looking at where the holoscreen was he waved his hands towards its location and his fingers danced in the air between them as the holoscreen acted as if on his command as a massive holoscreen projection lit up on the open wall in front of him.

Now with the only light available now coming from the dimly lit holo projection on the far side of the living room in front of where Yin Chen is standing.

There was a face projected on the holo screen seeing that face Yin immediately straighten his back with his hand parallel to his body before speaking.

“General Yang.”

“Yue’er stop be at ease there’s no need for you to be some formal between us.”

“That would be unacceptable sir this IS formal business if you are calling thorough this device sir, so what mission have you for me to complete.”

Yin Chen sternly said without batting an eye.

“Ha~, Yue’er you really do need to learn to loosen up a bit at times and what other way could I call you other than through this, very well Major……no Captain-General of the Blade Legion Yin Chen I have a mission for you the details of the mission will uploaded on your DNI but first rendezvous with at the War-Master at the port from there you will head over to The Trident.

Wa~, so even the War-Master has been deployed this must be some serious business if they’re going to send the full might of the legion at this poor soul.

“I hear and obey.” Yin Chen said giving a military salute as the holo screen faded away as the room was again faded into the darkness.

But within that darkness Yin Chen eyes shined with a brightly like a candle light in the dark standing still in the darkness.

Moments later with the sunlight shining brightly into the house through the windows Yin was happily humming a tune as she was working the machines within the kitchen. There was no need to worry of the smell or noise waking up her father as with the technological advancesin science there was no need to use fire to cook meals anymore through the advancements in science thus limiting the amount of sound one accumulates when cooking.

That however the standard of what is common in today’s age but Yin Chen was cooking in the kitchen using the old ways of cooking.

However no matter what noise Yin Chen was making or the smell of the burning oils or seasoning filling the air none of it seemed to reach the sleeping man in the bedroom, never mind the room far away the smell and noise didn’t even seem to leave the kitchen itself as if it was contained there due to the near invisible wall that seem to cover the doorway but no technology within the house that points that there was such a function in the house.

No more than a few minutes passed Yin finished what she was cooking and was now in another room after warping the plates that she finished cooking placing them neatly upon the dinner table that she was eating with her father.

She had discarded the apron and her casual clothing for a black theme skintight body suit that seemed to have been custom made just for her seemly showing off her body’s curve at the right angles, once she finished putting on her new clothing she went back to the room where Alex Chen was sleeping in soundly like a baby undisturbed by what she was doing just moments ago in the house after planting a light kiss on her father’s forehead she slowly walked away from him in a slow manner.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Though she never turned her head back around the pace of her footstep was an easy indication of her refusal desire to leave the man behind her but slowly but surely she walked out of that room and out the front door, and into the garage to the side of the house.

Yin entered the garage through the side entranced closing the door behind her though it was not audible to the outside there seemed to have been a hint of a flash spark coming from the garage, not long after the garage door opened behind the door was Yin on top of a massive oversized three-wheeled (two paired up in front and one in the rear) motorized vehicle with Oval-piston twin cylinder engine to the rear of it.

An extraordinary combination of polished black metal over brushed gold mechanics over its hull.

The size of it however dwarfed Yin greatly to where a bystander would question how this ‘frail’ maiden would handle such a behemoth.

Yin rode out naturally without any problems what so not even seeming to struggle with the monster, as she strode slowly onto the road and without even putting on a helmet but only a pair of sunglass that molded out of her skin or just seemly appear on her face. Once on the road she sped off giving only a sideways glance toward the house that she just left as she continued down the road to her destination going at speeds that highly indicted her going at speeds not permitted by law.

Passing through the highway and overtaking other vehicles but all they could see was nothing more than a blur and something that was there but wasn’t there.

Moments later after finally arriving to the city port through the underground and less favorably routes. The moment however Yin got off and left the motorcycle it seemed to have burst into a cloud metal shard particles hovering in the air before it flew straight towards Yin seeming melting into her skin but Yin seemed to not bother with this and not pay any attention to this phenomenon as she continued on her way through the massive crates filled port coated with the smell of sea.

Further inside, closer to the sea nearing the shipyard after making multiple turns here and there while avoiding the eyes of the worker personal of the port only when close to the edge of the shipyard did Yin find that she was looking for.

A young man not much older than Yin Chen wearing long tan colored jeans, black fingerless gloves, and military-style boots his coat has zippers on the sleeves and a buckle around the waist, the man does not have any form of clothing underneath his coat, going shirtless as it seems.

Seeing him Yin walked up to him but without calling out to him as she was walking up to him they locked eyes at the very same time.

“FengXian.”

“Yin Chen.”

The two said looking at each other eyeing each without saying another word at each other to another’s eyes they only seemed to be staring at each other, but however the slight twitch of their eyebrows and body movements of the two indicated that they were communicating but they were not using any sort of hand gestures or any of sort to the naked eye.

They stayed like that for a couple more seconds before proceeding to remove whatever clothing they had on their bodies exposing their nude bodies to the cold winds brought to harbor shores by the waves.

Though this fact didn’t seem to bother them as the pair dive head first into the water

“Huh what was that?” one of the workers at the harbor happened to hear the boom rushed over to the side of the harbor seeing only two object speeding away under the water away from the harbor at break neck speeds like that of a torpedo speeding through the water in a Hollywood movie.

“What was that dude did you see that did someone just launched a torpedo or something?”

“Don’t be ridicules this is a civilian harbor not military installation there no way that we could have torpedoes here.”

The workers colleague next to him answered.

“Now come on its probably just some new fish or something we need to get this stuff loaded before it gets dark.”

“Yeah you’re probably right.”

The two seeming lost interest in the matter and just turned away and went back to their work.

In another part of the world hours later near the coast of a nation an island in the North Atlantic Ocean off the northwest coast of continental Europe what used to be Great Britain at a harbor after the nights’ curtain has fallen upon the skies the lights that lit the harbor site barely

Two shadows emerged from the building shadow revealing two heavily armed males in their mid thirties or possible younger walking side by side into the dimly lit street carrying what would appear to rifles of the modern age but the size of the object was compared to its predecessor designs of firearms.

“Ha~, (letting out a deep breath of air) this really sucks why did we have to draw the lucky straw of doing night duties again for the third time in a roll tonight.”  The one on the left let out a sigh dropping his head down facing the ground they were walking on.

“Oh shut up don’t remind me please this job is already shitty enough as it is no need to make it worse for the both of us now.” The one on the right barked at his companion

“Yeah, yeah I know though it still sucks though.”

“Keep talking like that and the nights’ just going to be even longer ha~, beep-beep, come in main this team two radio check over nothing to report over.”

“Team two this is main copy that, so how this night going for you guys over.”

“We want to f***ing sleep over~!”

“Ha-ha, don’t we all?”

The two were so engross in their radio chatter that the two failed to notice a strange disturbances in the night sky curtain just hovering above them, or failing to realize the several shapes moving in the shadows onto the building creeping onto the area where the two were standing at above them.

“Ha~, ha-ha are you serious alright lets mgh-!”

“Huh what were you sa – huh dude where did you go?”

Looking to his side one of the duo noticed his complain was not where he was he spun around not see his partner anywhere he was about to call out for him again before something took the air out of his lungs, then he started to feel warm liquid in his throat before his eyes felt heavy with drowsiness he want to sleep and sleep he did for all eternity.

At a seal gate at the front of the building where the outside patrol team two was walking around outside there were clusters of armed guards in the same uniform but with several different weapons in their hands chatting among themselves.

“Ha~, ha-ha wait huh hey what was that?” one of the men nearest to the door walked away from the group he was with and proceed to walk towards the gate.

“Hey man what are you talking about-“

Boom~! The door to the corridor explodes with a massive explosion filling the entire corridor with so much smoke one couldn’t even see more than a few feet in front of them.

This lack of visual caused the armed guards the defenders to panic slightly seeing as how they have lost their vision.

Unknown to them to the eyes of their invaders their every move and position where they were all as clear as day through inferred vision not that they were aware of that.

Boom! And one head of the defenders exploded like that of red tomato juice splashing everywhere and those next to him.

“Huh.” Everyone was shocked to their core they didn’t understand what just happened one of their comrade’s head just exploded out of nowhere and they didn’t know what caused it as they all looked back towards the smoke.

Shadowy figures were moving from inside the smoke though it was still very difficult to make out their shape but it looked humanoid as the image became clear as they were moving closer.

“What is th-?”

Boom~! One of the defenders couldn’t even finish what he was about to say as he was flung backwards hard smacking against the wall hard and feel to the ground hard with a massive hole through his armor and chest.

His confused expression forever plastered on his face just as he died it was an instant death.

Multiple Gunshots resounded and rang out soon afterwards each shot that was fired, a head popped like a balloon or a human limb went flying in the air, the defenders didn’t know what was going on as they all fell one by one. Even those that were hiding behind cover were not spared from this fate as soon as they moved their head out of their hiding spot their heads explode as well as those that tried to run.

Stepping out of the smoke were metal humanoid figures holding up their rifles pulling back on the trigger once they pointed towards the direction of their target once it fell down to the ground they simply pointed towards another target and repeated till there wasn’t another soul breathing in the space other than them as they walked.

Walking through the recolored corridor ignoring the bodies that they were stepping on they pressed on towards the hallway in absolute silence other than the sound of their feet stepping on the cold stone floor that echoed through the hall.
