"If I remember correctly it must be a water skin celestial worm" he stared at the cresent shaped light blue creature in the middle of the puddle.
It was a first rank defence type Celestial worm , exactly what he needed.
The water skin celestial created a layer of water on the celestial masters skin which could easily block a rank 1 middle phase attack. It also turned the user a little slippery so physical attacks had a slight disadvantage against it.
" It only has a decent amount of defence when compared to other rank 1 defence specific worms, but feeding water skin celestial can actually be considered free as it survives on water " Huo ling eyes shone with excitement as he looked at the celestial worm.
" It is a match made in heaven , I am too poor right now to feed multiple Celestial worms. But both my Silent shadow and this water skin celestial can be considered free to raise." Huo ling smiled.
" But this water skin celestial looks different from the picture i have seen in the library " as he was thinking all this and approaching the worm, it noticed his presence and began collecting natural essence to form a barrier for its defence.
Huo ling noticed it in almost no time and with a concerning expression he quickly used the Swift Gale celestial to have a speed burst and caught the water skin worm by surprise. All of this happened in almost a second.
" Thank heavens, I caught it before the defence activated or it would be a pain to break itd defences to catch it , I am not that much confident in my attacks yet to challenge a defence Celestial" he sighed with relief clearing little sweat beads from his forehead.
He then carefully examined the watter puddle carefully " it really is natural essence condensed in liquid form" one could feel heat radiating from his eyes while he said the line.
It was the greatest cultivation resource for low grade talents. When the natural essence condensed in the wild it formed this essence liquid , when further condensed in high pressure it turned into essence stones.
By the looks of the puddle the essence contained in it could roughly form 5 essence stones.

It was now getting dark so he gathered some firewood and lit a fire then he used some stones and branches to hide the cave entrence.
" Lets first tame the water skin celestial, " it took about three hours for it.
Huo ling opened his eyes as he frowned " This is wierd why does this worm feels stronger then the description it is also more shiny then the picture "
He began to experiment with the worm . As soon as he directed his Celestial essence into it a bubble made of water vapours covered his entire body , it seemd attached to his skin . He then attacked his arm with his wooden sword.
" Isn't this a little too strong of a defence for a middle phase Celestial? " He was confused.
After thinking for a while he made a theory after considering the facts " It must have consumed this liquid essence from its infancy and hence mutated to the current stage " these changes although were rare still there were many he read in the books.
" It is good that it has such a sturdy defence but what if , it fed on liquid essence won't I die of loans " his mind went numb thinking about it.
If it was the case he would have to free it after this trip as he could afford to feed it here, but where would he find liquid essence to feed it in acadmy.
" Lets see if it drinks water " he summoned the celestial on his palm and directed it towards water but it ignored the water.
Hul ling convinced himself about trying other ways.
" Ha ha , to think it would succeed. Now I can have a really strong defensive worm" he laughed madly.
He tried to feed the worm with different methods and of all it only drank the liquid essence although the quantity was not too much but still it was what he feared the most.
But after about two hours of consistent failures he finally succeeded in feeding it without liquid essence.
" I can simply add my celestial essence in water and create a meal for it , ha, ha , I should become a refinement master with such intelligence " he boasted shamelessly.
If anyone heard him he woul definitely troll him for being mad or something. But still he was over from his crisis.
" Although it drains me out of every single particle of essence from my celestial sea to prepare one meal for it, rank 1 celestial's eat once every two days so it is not much of a deal.
He confirmed his experiment and had a sigh of relief with shining eyes. The only difference was that it drank very little liquid essence but lot of water mixed celestial essence rest was the same.
Night time Huo ling was sitting in the puddle of liquid essence and cultivating.
Streams of thick essence strings entered his body , then through his body they sank into his celestial sea merging with the smokey gray essence to make it thicker.
He felt very relaxed and full, steady streams of essence kept entering his body till a long time, finnally it stopped.
He opened his eyes and looked around " all the essence here is used , i have continuously cultivated for the whole night. It seems to be late morning now" he hadn't slept for the whole night but still was feeling full of energy and free of tiredness.
He stretched his body and looked towards the roof of the cave, it was very high and had a rather unique shape.
" So the essence from surrounding area condenses on the roof as droplets and then gets collected in this puddle." It was a very slow process and who knows how much time it had taken to gather that much essence.
" It saved me more than a month of bitter cultivation and i also got a unique defensive Celestial" he was feeling very grateful towards this cave. It was a sincere feeling from the depths of his heart.
He ate his brought dry meat and began searching for his Target.
