There I was, just living my best life. Okay my "best I can do" life, or whatever you call waking up late with a hangover from one of the worst blind dates you've ever heard of. Yeah, not the best case of what I was working for but, it was still my life dang it! I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off, late for my first class and group projects. I threw on one of my easiest, while still fashionable, outfits and peeled out of the garage. Made some good time, felt like a total boss... and then, I crashed. The worst thing I have ever done, I hit my classmate and sent him rolling in the middle of the street. The horror and guilt I felt in that moment were truly palpable, I ran to his still body on the ground. There was blood everywhere and he was barely breathing. His last words to me, listening with the focus and intensity of a child yearning to hear, "I love you," from their father for the first and last time in a hospital room, were to ask if I did the homework!  That jerk made me laugh at his last words! I'm definitely going to Hell. Knowing there wasn't much I could do, I kept him awake and engaged, until the world went white. A message scrolled across my sight welcoming me as a beta tester for a new system, like those isekai manga I love. But if I was the only one helping, and now I was gone, that means I left him to die on the street! Oh God! This can't be happening. They even ran me though a bunch of tests and put me in a new body..............as a FLOWER! This must be punishment for what I've done. How could I possibly make up for it? I am definitely in Hell.
