Invasion Trial!
Stop the threat of the fire elementals!
I move fast. I tell everybody to start moving and change my viewpoint. I can very easily find the invaders.
They are not… subtle.
A huge fire conflagration lights up the sky of the greenhouse in tones of orange and red. Angry tones of orange and red at that, literally, the fire is moving erratically gaining multiple different shapes that exist for a flash and break down into fire again.
The flames fall down from the ceiling. I notice 100 elementals diving down, initially they look like wild meteors. They expand into animals, becoming snakes, salamanders, foxes and tigers… and a moose?
One of them stands out from the rest. All the elementals have slight differences, mostly in tones of color and size, but they all share the similarity of being a bunch of living fire, just that, just fire, or animated flames.
The one leading the falling charge however is a being with more…meat? It has a humanoid body, like a genie, it has an upper body with a torso, two arms and a head. Below its waist there is a long tail. It is made of fire too, but not only fire.
Its head is made of a deep golden bronze, a bald head with a caricature of a face. Wrapping around its torso is a large charcoal scarf, its ends transforming into smoke and floating around the elemental. The last piece of clothing, or rather armor, is a large pale-white golden breastplate, with two shoulder large oval pauldrons, each with a large egg-like green gem in their middle.
Pyro Elemental 29
Pyro Elementals are fire elementals focused on high explosive strength and speed. One of the most common form of fire elementals
29 huh… That seems doable. I look at the other elements, who are just normal fire elementals, and see most of them are not yet Level 25.
The elementals finally meet the ground. They impact the ash-filled ground like, unexpectedly, water balloons. They hit the ground and deform,a few of them explode in flames and reform.
The pyro elemental really explodes. Nothing like an actual meteor, but close enough to a bomb.
Of course, the only reason I can see this is because it’s inside my dungeon. Because the only thing the elementals accomplished by their flashy, admittedly kinda cool, entrance was create a gigantic curtain of ash around themselves.
The pyro elemental dashes forwards using a small explosion from their tail end . The others follow along. They are going in the direction of my garden, annoyingly enough. Granted that’s pretty much the only place with anything on the floor so it’s understandable.
Gorger and Kaiman are the closest, so they move along to meet them. The pyro is comically ahead of the fire pack. It explodes, this time the entire body does so, and shoots forwards.
The pyro starts becoming brighter, its genie tail becoming hot and straight, like a blowtorch flame, going straight for Gorger.
One of its arms falls back and increases in length, suddenly gaining the consistency of hot glass. It swells, increasing in size, then it sends a haymaker and hits Gorger straight in the face. The limb explodes and the monster does not even slow down.
It keeps going forwards and curves back.
The fire moves, being pulled towards a great attracting force, Gorger easily inhales the flames. His face has some burns and some missing skin, but otherwise he’s fine.

The pyro hits him again. Gorger takes it and eats the flames again, the Pyro makes another turn and attacks a third time, to the same results.
Gorger laughs, a large bellowing sounds, something you could hear in a bar and when someone makes a raunchy joke.
The pyro turns and switches targets, going after Kaiman now. I thought it was going to be a hot head and attack Gorger again after he laughed at its face.
The elemental attacks Kaiman, who’s running towards the army, the attack explodes and… does nothing. Kaiman is simply too big, too dense for the explosions to really unbalance him, or even seriously hurt him.
If Gorger was a human I imagine his ears would have been blown out, and most of his skin would be burnt… but he’s not. Is that it?
Oh, spoke to soon.
The elementa flys up, its arms again gain that weird glassy consistency. It spins its arms like whips and they grow in length. And just like a whip its arms crack the air as it attacks, the arms swing in a blur and hit Kaiman, as they do they swing around him, wrapping along his body.
Both arms are now entangling Kaiman, who does not stop, not pulling the elemental like a kid pulling a kite around.
The elemental grows in size and glows in radiance, its tail becomes a flamethrower, spewing rapid flames before they start to focus, becoming more and more like a blowtorch by the second.
Slowly Kaiman… well slows down, as the elemental uses its imitation jet to pull him back, its arms pulled weirdly taut for something made of flame.
Kaiman is held for a single second, the pull of the elemental as strong as his legs. Only for a single second though.
Kaiman’s legs snap, his knees bend backwards and shift, the bone remodeling itself. And then he starts running backwards, towards the elemental.
The thing clearly did not see this coming. Kaiman runs and gets under it, again snapping sounds come from his body and he becomes, of all things, a fucking giant spherical wheel. His gigantic elephant body curls on itself like an armadillo, and he spins, bringing the elemental crashing towards the ground.
Good news: The fire elementals have caught up. Why is that good news? Because Gorger also caught up to Kaiman, and he’s already eating a few of the elementals.
Kaiman shifts his body again, hooks and jaws sprout out of him and lock the pyro elemental to the wheel, his legs change shape again, looking more like spider legs now. They hit the ground and stabilize him, their claws delving deep into the ash.
Then his wheel body starts to spin, and the elemental is dragged by the motion, its body being dragged against the ash and ground. I take a quick peek at Gorger and his fight.
The funniest thing about Gorger vs the Elementals is that they are clearly underestimating my little glutton. They see him eating them and actually jump towards it. They seem to think they can overwhelm him. Which they might, but….wait.
Gorger swallows three of the elementals in one breath. Another single breath and four die. Gorger seems unperturbed and undamaged.
A flaming moose charges him, the moose is actually level 24 flame elemental. Its large horns shine and gain a texture of metal, though flowing metal. Gorger grabs it by the horns before it can touch him, stopping the thing dead in the ash.
He brings his arms up and throws the moose up in the air and it mooos, a throaty rough noise, something a cow might make when being picked up by a tornado.
…
Do moose mooo? Is that an actual moose thing or a fire elemental thing!?
While the thing is still in the air, and still making weird cow noises, Gorger swallows five more elementals.
He’s not even hurt, like at all. The moose falls down and kicks up another curtain of smoke. It even fell head first, sticking its stupid head on the ash. Its hooves move and I notice they have a goldish steely look to them. It plants its feet on the ground and starts to pull its head out and… I notice something.
The hooves have weird stains on them. Their color is marred by some weird greenish spots.
I take a look around and notice another thing, The elementals, I remember all of them had stereotypical elemental colors, meaning they looked like orange and red fire. Now I see… greenish elementals.
Oh.. I search around and see an elemental on the ground.
Green. The elemental has a strong green color, getting greener by the second.
Man… These elementals got a rotten deal.
They are dying. The necrotic ash is poisoning them. Their flashy entrance must not have helped much either.
I turn to look at the pyro elemental and see that it's smaller now. It probably is spending significant mana to cleanse itself. Generally speaking elementals, especially fire elementals are not weak to necrotic energy. This is one of the exceptions, the fire ash seems to be too strong against fire for the simple elementals, they can’t burn it away and it’s building up on their flaming bodies.
It also explains why Gorger was undamaged, he’s eating the necrotic energy of the ash, negating even more damage from the elementals.
Merlin arrives near enough that he can just send a wave of ash against the elementals, further poisoning them.
The battle only takes a few more minutes after this.
Heh.
It’s a little funny that a battle of fire elementals and undead did not end in a bang, but a slow smothering end to the flames.
Well that was easy.
Invasion Trial!
Stop the threat of the water elementals!
The water of the small lake rises, waves appear in the middle of it, like something was dropped there.
100 water elementals rise up from the lake.
The one leading them is a large water elemental in the general shape of a woman, riding a large seahorse of water, the seahorse however has large crab claws.
The lake suddenly overflows, carrying the small elemental army forwards.
Okay, I think I jinxed myself a little.
