She was a little overwhelmed with how chatty the boy was, but quickly realized that he was a righteous and good person as he went on and on, on how commoners should not be treated the way she was and how he would change things when he grew up, it was actually kind of fun hearing him talk and after a bit of hesitation she joined in - both of them enjoyed themselves for a while and the boy had even given her a name. “Kou.” After the Dongzhou’s white gate - it was something she was fine with since she did never put much importance on names.
In the gutter a name means nothing, the only thing that has meaning is how fast or strong you are, people going on about their name and family will just get a punch in the face or a dagger into the belly and be robbed clean in a matter of seconds, who cares what a name is, really! Hers apparently was Yun Kou now, she would use it but did not take the name to heart.
The tall and pretty woman lead her through long white corridors, she did not speak much. Surprising Kou was that the place she was resting in was actually a big cave on the side of a mountain - the air was fresh and there was snow everywhere but on the neatly arranged pathways. Surprising her, even more, was that she was above the clouds! Just one look down the mountain showed a large field of white fluffiness surrounding then, it was a sight to behold! And one her tiny mind would’ve never guessed she would ever have. But there was no time to gawk, the woman did not stop for her to take in the scenery and quickly went down a spiral pathway down the mountains, so Kou followed after her, without the boy he had to leave for now having just snuck into her room on curiosity, he did, however, say that they would see each other in the outer sect soon, whatever that was. And so that left Kou alone quickly following down the path. They came across other wondrous sights, flying people, many women as pretty as fairies, young males handsome enough to topple cites, everyone seemed aloof and proudful - not a small amount of inquisitive but quickly dismissing glances brushed over her, so many that she went a bit quicker to hide by the legs of Hei Mai. Next to all these Immortals there was also various cave residents and small patches of flowers and grass everywhere, each flower each grass seemed special to Kou, everything was so much more bright and lively then back in Dongzhou, and while it frightened her a big deal - the dream of one day flying in the air was already anchored in her head firmly.
As they finally pierced the cloud cover she was one again awe-struck, numerous mountains and thick forest everywhere surrounding a wide vale, a tall tower stood in the middle and it was surrounded by numerous large and small buildings, many people in green and yellow robes were passing back and forth down there, nobody was flying at all, everyone was on their feet.
Hei Mai was a little uncomfortable, this child was just so quiet - while it would react with big eyes whenever a new sight came into view she did not grow excited or asked questions at all, remaining silent and following behind her obediently. She had opted against the decision of just bringing the girl down to the outer sect the fast way for the benefit of showing the girl the glory and beauty of the inner sect while they went down the path, it did take the better half of a day for both of them to finally reach the foot of the mountain and the outer sect. She was a little bummed out about the lack of reaction, it was nice to see the girl's eyes sparkle but she would’ve preferred to talk a little and boast about the sect and everything but beginning herself felt wrong so she did not talk with the girl at all until they reached the outer sect village. “This here is your new home.” She said standing in front of a small stone house “For now at least, things may be rearranged once the other new disciples start here next year,- Well I suppose you must be tired after all of this so I will return tomorrow morning.” Kou tilted her head slightly to the side - she was shocked about the house already but it was for herself alone? This house was bigger than the best house in the slums and it was made out of stone! Bowing deeply to the woman Kou turned around to enter her house, way to fearful to ask any questions.

The inside was rather spacious which made her a bit nervous, she liked small places where she could hide, but everything here was wide and bright - the first room was a neat living area with comfortable looking chairs and a small kitchen with a stove. She was shocked once more as she opened one of the cupboards, first of all, it was rather could inside, strange symbols were arranged inside faintly glowing, what captured her eye, even more, was the large arrangement of fruits and other foodstuffs inside - with this she would not go hungry for at least a month!
Picking one of the fruits she went around the house more, there were two bedrooms - quite simple, a large bed - and a small chest, from the room she chose for herself she could also see a small garden patch behind the house. room furthest to the back was circular in form and felt somewhat strange to her, there was nothing inside but a few faintly pulsating runes on the walls. There was also a small bathroom for each bedroom but she just took a bath a bit ago so she did not really care much for that for now as she made her way back to “Her” room. Opening the chest she found 3 sets of robes, the fabric was comfortable and so she threw her old clothes into a corner and put on a new set of robes, they were grey in color and seemed quite similar to the robes she stole before, just that these were perfectly fitting for her size.
Twirling around a bit to see her robes flutter made her feel quite happy - this place was great - albeit a bit too big for her tastes. Diving into the bed she immediately felt exhaustion wash over her body, this day was crazy and scary, everyone seemed intimidating - the only one that didn't was that boy… she had never asked his name at all, she also did not ask that old sister for her name, she did not talk all that much at all. “Dun have anythin’ to talk about... ” She mumbled to herself as her eyelids grew heavy “I dun kno’ what this all means.” Now that the awe and wonder had ebbed down a little she felt a little homesick, she missed her tiny hole in the wall and her crate, she was also dreading what would happen from now on - her life would undeniably change in what directions would this lead her and what would it do to her? Her fearful thoughts were quickly blacked out by the incoming drowsiness and she slept the whole night.
