She had remembered the way out. But Yun Kou was not to keen on leaving through the front door, so first things first she looked around the basement that held her prison cell. There were barrels with wine and other beverages here..which made Yun Kou roll her eyes slightly.
He was barely older than her! What did he need wine for! What made her quite happy was that she quickly found her daggers! That Prince really did not expect her to get out of there as easily as she did! Her Daggers were just carelessly placed on a chest together with her cloak! Throwing the cloak over and placing the weapons back into their sheets she felt a lot better about herself even with those cuffs still on.
Of course, she tried to remove them with her daggers but there was no way! She would have to get out of here in the old way!
First of all she went over everything else in the basement, keeping an eye out for useful things and windows. The only window she found was in a corner, very high up, narrow and bared with Iron. There was no way to escape through that. As for useful things? There was a lot of wine around, so much even that Yun Kou was caught by curiosity with her dagger she made a hole in one of the barrels and took a sniff.
This was not actually wine! It was Spirit Liquid! A very high grade one very much, unlike the one she got at the very beginning of her journey, now she knew that each sect member got a can of fabricated Spirit Liquid. But this was natural! There was no doubt about it, the spiritual energy in this was very strong!
Once more Yun Kou had to lament the fact that she had no storage treasure! Well...Her Cloak was one but she could not use it at all! So very vexing! Well! Here goes nothing! Bowing forward she started to drink as much of the liquid as she could! She could not bear to part with such riches without at least taking a little bit for herself.
Maybe she drank a bit too much though, she felt the Qi in her body swell all the way to the brink, the feeling was very akin to a breakthrough, but that was way to fast! She just had one not too long ago. Sadly she had no way to use all the bubbling Qi inside of her so she had to grit her teeth once more. No more time for fun and games. She quickly ran, luckily the door that leads upstairs was unlocked and she could not hear the Prince or his "Friends" anywhere.
"He...He.." A plan was starting to formulate in her head and she quickly moved on, there was nobody around.. perfect, she was now in some long hallway. Quickly she approached one of them and put one of her ears against it. No noise whatsoever! She tried to open it! It was unlocked! Lucky. Inside the room was a lavish but rather dusty bed-room. Probably for the Prince's guests? Who knows! The bed was big and there was quite expensive-looking furniture around - it was a shame to have it be covered in dust.
But there was no time to think anymore about these things, Kou quickly got to work, gathering blankets and ripping into curtains, making a big pile with all of it! She would pay that prince back right now! She made her way back into the hallway, there were lamps every few meters, Lamps that were powered by low-quality fire-beast-cores! She quickly gathered a few while keeping her eyes up for any noise - but the house was silent.
So Kou gathered more and more cores! Quickly the pile of blankets and curtains was covered in tiny orange and red cores! Yun Kou had no idea what would exactly happen but she was hoping for a fire to burn the Prince's butt! With her preparations complete she made her way towards the window. Of course, this was closed and locked... But Yun Kou simply grabbed one of the nearby chairs and threw them against the window!
A loud noise. And Kou acted quickly forcing some Qi through her fingers. Urg! She hated these cuffs! It hurt so much! But she still forced a tiny bit of Qi out and activated one of the fire stones! What happened was far more than she had wanted, quickly the fabric caught fire and the heat ignited the other fire cores! It was a big reaction and the room was on fire quickly! Time to go.

She jumped down landing on the backside of the house. Behind her, she could hear some of the fire-cores explode! Better get going now...She quickly runs over the perfectly tended grass to the wall. Luckily she still was rather strong and quick so jumping the wall was no problem.
"Stop!" Suddenly a voice! Yun Kou's ears tilted downwards and she quickly ran into the forest utilizing every ounce of power she had "Stop right now!" The voice... seemed somewhat dull... Kou allowed herself a look over her shoulder! It was some kind of Puppet Monster that followed her! A Qi construct! She had learned about these in the elder's lessons before. They were often used by nobles to guard their houses! They usually had low intelligence and would try to capture or.. if not possible kill any intruder!
Kou did not want to deal with that thing at all so she runs and runs, but the thing did not let up and it was gaining on her quickly! The only thing that gave her some glee in this hopeless situation was the inferno she could see behind her every time she looked back. The whole mansion was on fire!
The game of cat and mouse was quickly over, however. There was a steep cliff in the way - no way to change course the thing was way to close so Yun Kou found herself at the very edge of the cliff.
This time she got a good look at the puppet. Large..almost 3 meters - it had 4 arms, two of which carried swords while the other two were covered in Qi. It wore a Robe that had many Qi infused runes on it. Its face was unsettling, looking very much like a scarecrow with red glowing eyes.
This time it did not command her to stop any more it immediately attacked, Kou barely managed to block one of the sword strikes with her daggers, the hit made her gasp and pushed all the air out of her lungs! She was pushed back to the very edge - put the thing did not relent, a blast of fire Qi was fired off it's lower hands.
Yun Kou was hit, of course, she was, there was no way she could avoid it, she had no chance to fight this thing without being able to use her Qi fully. And even then she might not really be its opposite. Pain, again. This was not the first time today that she got hurt but it was probably the worst the place on her lower abdomen was scorched her clothes burned away and her belly burned. A voiceless scream left her mouth, she had not breathed in again so she could not even scream out in pain.
And then she felt how she fell, barely conscious she could see the raging river underneath her slowly coming closer and closer, but once more she lost consciousness before she hit the water...
Ning Yue felt pretty good about himself as he swaggered towards Xiu Shihong's house, a handsome smile was on his face but was quickly washed away as he only saw burning red eyes in front of him! Xiu Shihong had taken the initiative in approaching him and now she had one of her hands on his throat while her eyes were glowing with a deep fiery red, not just her eyes, however, around her body there were pieces of corporal firey red armor and her head had two slender and pointy horns.
Ning Yue was just about to speak but ...he could not the fist around his throat was clenched! He was unable to breathe and gasped! Never had anyone laid a hand on him! Rage filled the boy and Large Golden Phoenix wings formed on his back, his hands turning into Talons that penetrated through Xiu Shihongs Red Armor, but not deep enough to draw blood...
Xiu Shihong glared at him as the pressure forced her to open her hold on his throat, quickly the Wings carried the prince a few feet into the air the moment he was free "Shihong! How dare you attack your Prince!" He bellowed down, now fully enraged, but Xiu Shihong was having none of that! "Prince? A Prince does not lower himself to things like these, your petty and childish schemes are going to far Ning Yue! Hand her over or I will make you!"
Ning Yue was just about to explode! But suddenly something LITERALLY exploded! There was no way to miss the large fiery light on the Horizon. This was HIS house! Who would actually dare to damage a Prince's property! He stood there in the middle of the air stunned. Xiu Shihong, however, was enraged! She had no time for this twerp of a Prince anymore she jumped forward not without crushing into him making the prince meet the ground in an all-new way. Face first. Before she took off towards the fiery inferno.
What had happened to her scruffy friend, was she the source of the fire? Did she get out? How in the hell did she make such an inferno?! Xiu Shihong could not imagine what exactly had happened and was way too worried about her fried to think too deeply into things, rushing towards the burning building. "Yun Kou!"
