The drive was silent. Xinexa knew they were going to help the Lox but where exactly are they heading?
“Hey! Where exactly are we going?” she asks the blonde girl, whom she still doesn’t know the name of.
“We’re headed to our house. That’s where our family reunion was held.” she replied.
“What was your name again?”
“Peri, Peri Lox,”
Well, I guess I know her name now. Xinexa is getting kind of tired so she lays her head on the closest thing to her and quickly doze off.
“Xinnie. Xinnie. XINEXA WOLFEN GET UP NOW!” someone yells in Xinexa’s sensitive ear.
“OW! What’s the big idea?” she grumbles, turning to look at the source of the loud voice.
It was just Fork. Xinexa lifts her head off the warm thing she was resting on and stretches, rubbing her eyes. Wait, what was I sleeping on? Xinexa looks down to see Mauven’s shoulder. Lexy, for some reason, looks extremely angry and is glaring at Mauven.

“What’s wrong Lexy?” she ponders.
“Nothing,” he grumbles.
Huh, I wonder what his deal is. Xinexa’s heart starts to pound a bit as she realizes that the RV has stopped.
“We’re here! Get out,” says Peri, hurriedly
They all step out in front of a beautiful mansion. Is this their house? It looks like a castle! Xinexa has to painfully crane her neck to see the top of the building.
“Alright, let’s go in,” orders Cerise.
Xinexa is still in awe as they walk up the white steps to the big mahogany door. It’s so fancy in here I might faint. Marble columns lined the hallways, and a big fountain was in the center of the lobby. They walked until they met a big wall that didn’t look as fancy as the rest of the walls. Mauven raised his hand and lightly tapped on the wall in seven different places. The wall immediately split into three parts and receded into the ceiling and floor.
“Woah,” whispers Lexi.
Behind the wall there was a staircase, probably leading down to a basement. As they descend, Xinexa can’t help but notice a strange smell. It makes her nose twitch.
“What’s that smell?” Lexy beats her to the question.
“What smell?” asks Cerise, sniffing the air.
The three LPs might be able to smell it, but Fork and the Lox probably can’t since they have human senses.
“It smells like cat,” says Penelope taking a whiff of the air.
“CAT!?” Lexy and Xinexa exclaim at the same time.
Being wolves, naturally, cats are our enemies.
“I really hope it’s not cats. I am not in the mood,” groans Lexy.
Peri slowly pushes open the door at the bottom of the staircase. They all peer in, and what is sitting there, on a big purple couch, is completely unexpected.
