I sat there for god know's how long all I could think was why me why do these events keep happening to me why do I have to watch as my family gets killed in front of me time and time again.

I thought about this for an unknown period of time until I finally, came to a realization.

all my life I had let life push me around even in my old life I had done nothing but let life push me around. I only tried hard enough to succeed but never to excel. I never aspired to be the strongest but this world was not as kind as my old one I need to push back.

As if on cue a loin jumped out of the trees nearby. But on closer inspection, it had horns and a snake for a tail. The snake writhed and moved as if it was a different entity hissing and spitting at everything nearby.

I sent blood energy into my wing's but something strange happened when the blood mana got to my right-wing.

The missing limb that had already stopped bleeding and had started to regrow a testament to the griffon's healing speed started to regenerate at a pace visible to my eye. The chimera seeing this backed up in shock and crouched low readying to strike.

''Come on then you ugly bastard let's dance.''

Pouncing toward's me with its claws extended and tail hissing furiously I acted on pure reflex and swung my wing's toward's the chimera. The blood mana that was attached on my wing's slid off and like an arrow released from a bow pierced the chimera through the chest. The chimera falling on the ground probably dead was not over the snake ripping itself from the chimera bit the chimera corpse's and before I could do anything the chimera was absorbed before my very eye's in a matter of seconds. The snake after finishing its meal grew in size about two times the size of the chimera looked at me. And I swear that I could see contempt in its eyes.

Launching itself at me with its jaw open and it's fang's glistening in the sunlight. Jumping to the side I tried to launch a blood blade's at the snake but I had run out of mana. In a desperate bid to kill the snake, I taped into the black abyss mana lanching it at the snake. Two black spheres flew out of my wing's and combined doubling in size impacted the snake and sucked it into it. The sphere dispersed and all that was left was a ball of flesh.

''WHAT THE HELL A BLACK HOLE.''

Left in awe, at the damage that the black hole did to the snake, I was left in complete shock.

I form a blade and position it over my right wing's claw trusting my regeneration and bracing for the pain. I slice my finger off and activate the blood clone ability.

God it hurts when the claw hit's the ground it turns into blood I stare at it but nothing seems to happen. Then the blood starts to ripple and form's into a miniature version of me similar to the size of my claw.

My finger had already regrown so I decide to be a bit more adventurous and prepare to cut my hand off. Just before I'm about to do it I remember that I am running low in blood manna. So

I walk over to the ball of flesh and activate the Blood mana skill. The blood from the ball of flesh fly's into my core and I feel my blood mana refilling until the ball of flesh turns grey and withers away turning into black dust.

refilled I prepare to cut off my hand filling my right-wing with blood mana. I swing down and cut through my hand.

Man the pain is no joke but it is in the name of science.

Activating the Blood clone ability the hand turns into a pool of blood

forming into a mini-me this time about the same size as my hand. I think that this could be useful for scouting. Filling my hand with blood mana it regrows at a fast pace.

I wonder if I can reabsorb the clones as soon as this thought goes through my head both of the clone's walk over to me and touch my leg. And if they are walking into a portal they phase into my leg.

I want to try the blood mutation's but there's nothing that I can salvage from the husk of the ball of flesh.

I turn around and walk towards's the forest crouching low to avoid detection I slowly creep through the forest my instincts taking over.

I creep closer I'm now close enough that if I wanted to I could reach out and touch its disgusting body. I fill my wings with blood mana and in an instant, i cut off its tail the larvae screaming and withering on the ground turns toward's me. I rush towards its head or the approximation of where the head should be located and cut it off. the larvae goes still and finally stop's screaming.

Suddenly i feel a burning in my tail and it only gets stronger all I can do is stand there in pain. then a pian started to build in my abdomen. then the pain started to grow. The pian in my adbomen and tail didn't fade away but only intensified further. The pain was so much that i collapsed i knew that i couldn't make a sound otherwise other animals would hear me and kill me while i was weak. Slowly the pain started to diminish and about 10 minutes later the pain faded away completely and I was left on the ground panting completely exhausted.

After a while i stood up and admired my new tail it was blood red and was shaped like a curved dagger I will examine my new skill's later it's starting to get dark and my instincts are screaming at me that the dark is dangerous and that I need to find a place to hide. I looked around for two more hours before I finely stumble into an empty cave. It was well hidden and when I got into the end of the cave i collapsed on the floor and finally sleep claimed me.
