As I floated through space I was confronted by a long list creature's to choose

Ok, vel let's think this through You only got one choice.

.Human

Humans have no base attributes bonuses. But they do have an innate talent for creating new thing's 19% more chance of reaching enlightenment when meditating about the arcane secrets and they have a slightly below magical talent for all elements

I don't want to pick human because they are weak. I was a human in my last life they have no talent to speak of. Although the bonus to crafting looks neet and... huh the arcane secrets WAIT WHAT THERE IS MAGIC IN THIS WORLD... HA! this will be fun ok definitely not human they look like they destined to be the jack of all trades never to excel at magic.

.Dwarf

Dwarfs are notorious for their metal forging abilities and the massive golems they can construct. They have a reputation for having a strong talent for metal and eath magic.

40% boost to eath and metal magic

60% of bonus at succeeding at forging.

The dwarf look's good it has a nice boost to eath magic.The and the 60% bouns to forging is amazing. But I am not interested in forging and I don't want to spend my second life making stuff. I want to fight and kill the man who destroyed my planet.

.Elf

elves have a strong connection to nature and spend most of their time in the trees. They do not eat meat but sustain themself's on the fruits that come from the massive trees where they live.

they are an extremely long-lived species living up to 10,000 years. But because of this they gain levels extremely slow and have an extremely low fertility rate.

they are a rare species and only reside in the massive forest south of the human continent.

The elf is interesting but i don't think i can go for 10,000 years without meat and there is no way I will be able to wait that long for my revenge.

.Griffon

griffons are one of the strongest animals because of there size and immensely powerful body even a child griffon is as big as three adults and can destroy buildings with relative ease they also have a strong regenerative ability but they have little to no magical capability the only magic they have is an innate ability to create wind under their wings to combat their weight otherwise they would not be able to fly off the ground 46% boost to strength and health regen when leveling up they are also hunted by human's for there feathers and mana core's.

Now the griffon look's cool the strength of it is probably not to be underestimated. But a downside is no magic.

Not necessarily the system can absorb bloodlines. If the host can find a creature that has a magic bloodline the host can obtain magic.

Ok now that is a game-changer in the beginning levels the magical animals are probably not that strong i could monopolize this

what about the other options.

.Goblin

goblins are a weak and stupid race. The only thing that they are good at is having offspring the average goblin female can have up to 40 children per day. They also have one of the longest evolution paths in the animal kingdom but the most well-known evolution is the [goblin enchanter] The goblin enchanter are known to have a crafting ability that rivals the dwarfs and if a [goblin enchanter] has offspring the child will be a [goblin enchanter] too. And have a 2% experience boost.

For the same reason why I don't want to choose the dwarf race, I don't want to be a crafter and the goblin race is even weaker than the humans.

.Rat

Rats are simple animal's they eat what they find and only have one evolution the [rat king] But do not underestimate them there is a 1 in a trillion chance for a rat to evolve into the [rat king] But if one emerges it can make [rat hoards] when formed they can range from 10 rats to 10000000 rats. They have taken down cities and countries and they have a unique ability to combine rat's to form mutants a hive mind's forming giant beings called [rat lords]

The rat's look's promising but with my small size leveling up would be a problem in the beginning levels i would be a snack for most animals. And the chance to evolve is way too small whats to say i can't get this [rat king] ability later with the bloodline ability later.

Yes the host can take all abilities that he selects provided that you can find a rat king.

.Slime

An existence not from this word as they have come down from a comet. They have highly acidic gelatinous body's and if they find or take a skeleton they can replace the muscle and orgones becoming something that look's like the creature.

For example, if it killed a human and absorbed its body it would look like a seethrough humanoid with bones where the bones would normally be. They also take the skill's of the being they possess.

I want to talk to people and form social bond's i don't think that's possible if I am a ball of slime.

Ok I have gone through the options and I think that the griffon would be a perfect choice it's blessed with regen and strength. And I can take magic from others to compensate the lack of magic that I have.

The black screen floated in front of me so i steeled my will and I mentally clicked yes

Suddenly i speed up felt like I time had slowed down. As the planet got bigger and bigger a could see the forest and rivers. As i turned towards a mountain and on my left, I flew towards a nest that resided on an extensive lege. I was there almost immediately as I looked down I saw a clutch of massive eggs the size of at least an adult human being. As I drifted towards one of the egg's i could feel the life inside it. As I passed the outer shell and into the egg, I saw the griffon it looked like a lion with an eagle head the front legs looked eagle claw's and had the wings on them. The hind leg's where lion and it had a spiked lizard tail. As i ented the griffon i felt a resistance like it didn't want me to enter. When I enterd I spoted the soul of the griffon the griffon noticing me lauched it self at me but was stoped by an invisabal force. As I stared at it I knew I had its life in my hand. Knowing there was no other way I crushed its soul absorbing it and strengthening mine in the process.

Wait i can move hahaha i can move. I must be in the egg I can feel it it's warm and comforting like a mothers embrace why am i so tired.

I slept for an unknown period of time. When i did wake up I felt cramped and my instincts told me to get out.

Huh it must be time for me to hatch.

As I try to kick my way out I realize that it's getting harder and harder to breathe.

I must be running out of oxygen NONONONO this is not how I die. Wait a minute I have a beak.

I slam my beak on the eggshell until i feel it crack under my assault.

as i took a break to recuperate while breathing frantically the system sounded

I feel power being infused in my beak. As I slam my beak on to the eggshell it smashes my egg open. And creates a gap for me to see outside my shell I see a blue sky with clouds dotted across the sky but I don't get to enjoy the view for long though as a massive eye blocks the view

What in the world!

The eye moved back and a missive beak came in to view it moved closer to me and removed the remaining eggshell as i crawled out of the eggshell i was greeted by the sight of a massive griffon siting next to the nest. My human mind told me to run but my instincts told me that this was my mother.
