Chapter 54: Life comes from the earth
----------------------------------------
“All of them?” Lisa whispers as she still tries to count but there are so many monsters it looked like a war zone from animal planet. The mountain itself is disappearing into the clouds. It wasn’t completely vertical as the area where the water rose up to is still flat enough for us to dock.
That is if they let us dock on it.
There are so many mobs in the area that it makes my skin itch wanting to jump over them and descend with a skill obliterating everything. Every strand of hair on my arms rose up giving me goosebumps as I watch them all move everywhere creating havoc.
"Ok, stop the raft," I whisper and they tried their best to paddle the opposite way until the raft came to a slow halt. We quickly tied it to a tree and everyone else behind us did the same tying his or her rafts to ours.
"Holy shit, uh, that's a death trap," Dorang whispers looks at the mountain with a worried expression. As far as my eyes can see, there is no section they can enter safely.
"Okay everyone, huddle up," I tell them and they came surrounding me. “Those who aren’t adventurers, please stay on the raft until we clear the area. Everyone else, we’re going to clear the whole mountain. Don't wander off fighting a monster on your own. Some of the monsters there are probably at a higher level than you guys so don't attack those. Leave those to me, Takumi, and Suyeon.”
“Why can’t we go solo do?” Amaguchi asked.
“You can probably kill one weaker than you by yourselves but, if they gang up on you, that’s an automatic death wish. We need to know and train ourselves to work as a team. We need to be able to flow together and easily take care of a monster. If we ever find a dungeon, we need to be able to deal with the boss smoothly.” I explained to them while remembering our encounter with the gold team.
"True," Kana says.
"Last time we fought as a team, we lost," I tell them trying to make them remember our ordeal with the gold.
“And, we shouldn’t rely on your alternate.” Ms. Sam says and I nod.
"Every time I use him, I don't know if he's slowly eating away my conscious but, I don't want to use him to the point he replaces me altogether," I tell them but in the end, I know I would use him even if he eats my consciousness away.
“Ok, we got this. This seems…” Lisa’s voice trails as she looks back at the horde of mixed monsters attacking each other. “Seems easy enough…probably.”
"Don't worry, if you guys get into a sticky situation, we'll come and help out," I tell them as I look at Takumi and Suyeon and they both nod my way. I look back at Dorang and he was too busy staring at the horde from a distance.
“Ok, even if I was an adventurer, I am not going to do what ya’ll are thinking.” I can see his expression turns from fear to disgust.
“Even better. Just stay here. Once it’s clear, I’ll wave to you guys and you can cut the raft apart and paddle towards us.” I tell him and he nod.
"Ok, before we go, let's make a plan. Anyone got any ideas on how to approach them?" Daikichi asked.
“How about, we dock on that area where the wolves and boars are. We’ll go kill them and work our way from there.” Takumi points towards the left side where the boars and wolves seemed to have teamed up to defend themselves against bears and other monsters coming their way. "The main goal is to boost up your levels. The higher level you guys get, the stronger the skills you can obtain."
“Ok, item bag.” I caught my bag and took out my remaining swords and gave it to them. Even Ms. Sam held a sword. They’re healers, but want them to fight and be able to defend themselves.
“Kiddo, you got a shield?” Goro sensei asked Takumi who called out his bag to take out a small shield.
“Sorry, not really a shield person and this is one of the weapons I collected in the first dungeon.”
“It’s ok. This will do.” Goro-sensei says as he wore the shield on his left forearm.
“Daikichi, here," I say to Daikichi holding up my last two swords to him.
“What about you?” He asked looking worried.
“Won’t need a sword. Those things are weak enough that I can handle them bare hands. You’ll need this more than I do. Take it.” I say and he slowly nods grabbing the sword out of my hands.
“Ok, everyone ready?” I asked and they all nod. We cut the vines holding us to the tree and slowly paddled towards the boars leaving Dorang and his group behind. They started getting ready scampering around rearranging the rafts so they can easily paddle at a moment’s notice. As we paddled towards shore, the closer we get, the louder their roars become and it feels like we're about to enter an untamed zoo.
“I got this. I can do this. I got this.” I hear Lisa whisper over and over again, as we get closer and closer. I see some of the wolves have spotted us approaching and they turned our way barking at the edge of the water.
"Once, we're close, go for the wolves first. They attack in packs so stick close together." I tell them and they all nod. "We've dealt with wolves before so this should be easy. Just stick together. After that, study their levels and work your way up from there. Don’t be a hero.”
They all nod watching the wolves as they continuously barked at us. Once we got closer, I got down and pulled the raft while keeping the wolves at bay. I guess my presence is keeping them at bay.
“Now!” I shouted and they all jumped out of the raft charging at the wolves. Amaguchi almost tripped but he quickly regained is composure as everyone ran towards the wolves while the wolves met them halfway. I focused my vision on what’s beyond them and I see a bunch of black bears running towards us.
Shit, if they attacked everyone, it might become too dangerous.I whisper in my mind as I see the level on top of their head.
I ran towards the black bears and without giving out orders, Takumi and Suyeon quickly followed behind me. Suyeon launched herself in front and kicked the bear that was leading the pack. The impact was so strong the bear flew across dragging almost every black bear with it before its body exploded on the mountain from a distance. I look back towards everyone and they have managed to deal with the wolves and started working their way up towards us dealing with giant snapping turtles.
“Go for its legs!” I hear Daikichi shouts as they had a hard time cracking the shell on its head. In a quick motion, Goro-sensei rushed swinging at the turtle's legs. Amaguchi ran next to him and used the hammer to flip the turtle on its back. Lisa quickly formed an icicle on top and it punctured the belly of the turtle halfway. In one swift motion, Amaguchi used the hammer and struck the icicle piercing in more prompting the turtle to turn into dust. In a corner of my eye, I see Ms. Sam, Kana, Miki-sensei and Mamoru staying back as they watched them deal with the turtle. Their hands are green while Mamoru stands around in a ready position. They were so focused on what in front of them they didn't notice a wolf coming from the back.
“Watch out!” I shout right before the wolf jumped to bite Mamoru’s neck. In an instant, a portal appeared in between them and the wolf ended up jumping into it. Another portal appeared way above them and I see the same wolf come out falling at a height it will probably die from an impact. Daikichi jumped and he swung both swords decapitating the wolf prompting it to turn into dust midair.
“Fuck.” I hear Takumi whisper behind me. As I turn around, red bears with foam coming out of their mouth are running towards us. “Those things contain a high potent of toxins. Don’t let any blood or the foam in their mouth get into yours.”
“Toxins? I might be immune to any poison.” I whisper as I remember the poison spitters I dealt in the hidden dungeon. I walked towards the horde clenching my fist as excitement travels through my whole body. “Pound~”
My skill enchased my fist as I felt it vibrate. I stood my ground and waited for the first bear to launch itself at me. The moment it got closed, it jumped like a wolf with its claws ready to cut me to pieces.
"Seismic step," I whisper and in an instant, I close the gap between us aiming my fist right in the center of its chest. Using my body weight, I swung towards the bear with all my might. I felt its bones crack as my fist dug in before launching him into a distance. The bear flew a few feet away only to bounce around the ground like a lifeless rag doll. The rest of the bear jumped trying to bite me all at once and I brought my fist towards the ground.
“Knockout!” I felt a vibration on my fist as a rune formed under me and in an instant, each and every red bear fell to the ground unconscious. I slowly stood up and looked at Takumi. “Call everyone.”
He nods towards me and he ran towards Daikichi who was too busy dealing with another turtle. Takumi quickly dealt with the turtle as I see his points towards me after turning the turtle into dust. The difference in their power is so big that, they probably noticed it as they look at awe towards Takumi who killed the turtle with one swing.
“What happened here?” Dakichi says trying to avoid the red bear sleeping around the area.
“They’re sleeping. Do you see their level?” I asked him and he nods.
Poison Red Bear LVL 67
12,720/15,000
"Kill them," I tell him pointing at the red bears. "They won’t wake up even when you stab them so this should be easy.”
“O-ok.” He says as he aimed his sword towards the bear. Daikichi waited a few minutes wary of the sleeping bear just in case it wakes up but, even when it got stabbed right in the neck, it slept soundly as blood poured out of its mouth.
“It won’t wake up. Aim for its heart, any vital organs. That usually will give a critical hit." I explain to him as I point at the bear’s chest. He nods taking out his sword and stabbing the bear where I was pointing. He did it repeatedly until the bear’s life reached zero and it turned into dust. He started working on the next one and everyone else followed after him killing one after another.
Soon, the area was being covered with dust and I started walking towards the water as one monster caught my interest. I passed by Daikichi who’s too busy killing a sleeping bear to even notice me.
“Hey Daikichi, can I borrow one sword. I’ll give it back really quick.” I tell him keeping my eyes on the monster.
"Oh, sure. Here you go." He says looking at what I'm looking at. "Are you going to kill those?"
"Yeah, I want to cook them," I whisper as I walked towards the giant crabs. “Seismic step. Sharpen.”
I quickly close the gap between me and the first crab stabbing it in the eyes and the damage I death quickly killed it in an instant. I waited for a few more minutes and to my surprise, a horde of crab came out of the water and slowly walked my way snapping its claws. I went from one crab to the next stabbing it until I managed to kill all of them. I waited some more but no other crabs emerged. I walked back towards Daikichi who was watching me from a distance. Everyone behind him was working on the last bear as it suddenly turned into dust.
“How can you kill them so damn fast?” Daikichi asked me as he looked around as I handed the sword back to him.
“My skill is so high it boosts up my damage at a tremendous amount," I tell him and he looks at me like I’m a cheater.
"Ok, now time to chop these things up and- where is Suyeon?” I asked looking around and I notice explosion erupting everything towards the sky from a distance. It looked like geysers sending monsters flying to only plummet down the ground towards their death.
“There she is. Seriously. Yasu, what the hell did you do to her?” Daikichi asked as we all watch her happily running around kicking everything. A gust of wind erupts around her sending monsters and debris in all direction. She kept kicking so much that it’s the first time I saw it rain monsters. Somehow, everything slowed down as she walks casually towards us flipping her hair as monster rain down behind her.
“I only taught her the basics…" I whisper watching everything go back to normal as she jumps sideways evading an attack to what seems like a giant scorpion. In an instant, she quickly closed the gap kicking the scorpion so hard it didn't fly off but erupted in place.
"Umm can you like…train me too?" Lisa says and I noticed everyone is in awe seeing her dodge enemies without looking at them. "Did you perhaps install an eye behind her back? How is she doing that?”
"I don't know, I never saw her like this," I whisper as I see her finally blossoming into what her class should actually be.
“I think her class can predict movements ahead of time," I whisper as I see her dodge attacks from the scorpion aiming at the back of her head without looking at it.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“Damn, now this is getting me fired up! Let's do this! Come on, guys! Let's kill those things next!" Amaguchi shouts as he points towards giant rats.
Ratatouille Level 25
10,000 / 10,000
“That name…” I say wanting to chuckle as they all ran towards giant rats riddled with what looks like armor fitted right for them. I notice Takumi started mass killing his targets and I turned around to start collecting the crabs. Just thinking about eating it is making me excited since there are too many crabs everywhere.
“Crab stew, fried crab, boiled crab, grilled crab, crab crab crab~” I sang as I walked towards the mass pile of dead crabs around the area. I noticed Dorang waving at me and I scanned the area, which has cleared up a bit towards one section where the wolves used to be. I waved back at them pointing towards the area and they all started paddling. I focused on the crabs as I ripped its claws and legs piling it up on one section.
After collecting all of it, I look back to see where there are and have finally moved halfway and started fighting giant snakes. Their movement has become more fluid with one another as they attacked in succession killing one snake after another. I guess they gained more skills as Daikichi and Amaguchi stood around probably looking at their skill window. Suyeon is still sending enemies into oblivion but she moved on to bigger targets that are four times her size.
"What the hell are those? One-eyed ogres?" I whisper trying to see her enemy's names but it was too far away to see. Takumi moved towards leopards and I see him have a bit of a hard time attacking them since they're moving around him too much. But, my worries completely faded when he sliced on leopard that jumped behind him killing it in an instant. Rather than fighting, I left them to fight while I started setting up near the water where the boars and Wolves were located. Dorang has just reached the shore as they started pulling their raft into the land to prevent it from drifting away.
“Holy shit, what in the actual fuck are you guys? Gods?” Dorang says as he got closer to me. “I have never seen shit fly up the sky like that.”
BOOOM!
An explosion happened from a distance and I felt the gust of wind on my back.
"You'll get used to it," I tell him as I gesture him to come closer. "Have everyone collect the crab legs I piled up. Don’t worry about any enemies, I’ll deflect anything that comes our way but I think we have enough land to create the camp.”
“Got it. Everyone! Listen! Let’s collect food!” Dorang shouts towards the people who are one by one getting off their raft onto dry land. After he shouts a couple of orders, I see everyone move in action as the guys run towards the pile of crab legs and claws picking it up one by one and placing it towards a section far away from the monsters. While everyone scamper around, some of the younger people started collecting sticks and rocks around the area to make campfires.
“Umm, w-what should I do?” I hear a voice below me and I see little Nala looking up waiting for me to say something.
“Uh, how about, you help guard our raft?” I tell her and I grabbed our raft and dragged it towards land. I see her struggle climbing up the side of the raft but managed to do it after a few tries.
"Okay! I won't let anyone touch the raft!" She shouts doing a fighting position making me chuckle a bit.
I grab a stick nearby and handed it to her. “That is your weapon, only use it if necessary.”
“Roger!” She tells me saluting before placing herself in the middle of the raft holding the stick like a sword. I smiled at her but quickly changed my expression as the sudden change I’m going through made me feel awkward. I turned around and walked towards the water to clean my hands.
“Ugh, when did I become so soft…” I whisper as I walked back towards the body of the giant crabs and started dragging a couple where little Nala is. Using my strength, I ripped it apart and all of its guts looked exactly the same as the crabs we have back on earth. The only difference is this one is at least a hundred times bigger. I dragged the shell back in the water while Dorang ran after me looking at awe as I easily dragged something a group would have a hard time with. After washing it, He helped me drag it back towards camp. I borrowed one of Dorang's daggers and lit up a torch using the Dragon’s breath.
“Hey, Dorang, can you guys build a fire around this shell, I'll cook in here," I tell him handing the torch to him and he gave me a salute receiving it.
"Sir yes sir!" He shouts laughing right afterward before barking orders at the people behind him. Even if he seems a bit off, people listen to him like a general. Once the order was out, they were quick on their feet and started setting up rocks and sticks around the shell while Dorang lit up the stick with the torch I gave him. A couple of the guys were tasked with keeping the flames lit so they kept feeding it sticks until the flames were big enough to almost go over the shell. Everyone started relaxing while I sat down on the raft that Little Nala was guarding and watched everyone fight from a distance.
"They work really fast," Dorang says as he sits beside me. “Seriously, your partner in crime is probably the strongest out of everyone. Look at her go.”
“Yeah," I say trying to analyze their movement but, I see that they're handling themselves pretty well. Even when they started fighting the remaining one eye ogres, they were able to hold their own while Takumi and Suyeon eliminated the small enemies around them.
“Shouldn’t you help?” Dorang asked me and I shook my head.
"They'll never get strong if I do it for them," I whisper looking at their movements.
“Oh, that true- There we go! Yes!” Dorang suddenly stood in excitement as we see them deal the killing blow turning the ogre into dust. “Damn! This is some experience. Fighting is nice, but watching you guys beat the shit out of everything is even better.”
“Sir, the water is steaming.” A person behind gave me a salute the minute I turn around and I still feel awkward watching them do it. I walked over towards the water and I see small bubbles coming out of the bottom as the water starts to slowly boil.
“Wait for a few until large bubbles come up. After that, let it cool down and collect the clean water for everyone to drink. Don’t collect everything, leave half of the water, I’m going to use it to boil some of the crab legs.” I tell him and he saluted me again before I walked back towards the raft.
“Ohhh, crabs. It’s been a while since I ate something decent!” Dorang says and I can hear his stomach grumbling.
BOOM!
An explosion erupted again from a distance and I see ogres flying up into the sky.
Whistles*
“Look at her go. Imagine if you piss her off.” Dorang says as we watch Suyeon sends monster up the sky. The minute the ogres land, everyone quickly pounced on them and soon, the whole place was covered with dust as they killed one ogre after another. Most of the monsters that watched the massacre of the ogres ran away the minute they got a chance. Some ran towards the water swimming away from us. I guess they know they’ll never win. But I felt something weird as I see almost every monster run away from everyone. Rather than chasing, I see everyone sit down and I hear them all scream in joy clearing the last remaining ogre.
“Yeah!” Dorang shouts in excitement as he started clapping and everyone else followed cheering as at Daikichi and the rest of the group as they walked back towards us.
Great, now we have a whole bunch of hypeman. I whisper in my mind. I scanned the area that was once teeming with monsters have become an empty wasteland.
“Yasu! Yasu! Did you see that?! We owned them!” Kana says getting close and I stepped back as I see them covered in purple and red blood. I didn’t expect it to be cleared so fast but I guess, having more people attack one monster really speed up the process. But, in my mind, I was thinking it would take the whole day to just clear the area but it took them no more than a couple of hours due to the fact that half the monsters ran away while the rest was being made to rain down by Suyeon.
“Uhhh, wash yourselves. I’ll go prepare food.” I whisper as I looked at them covered in red and purple stains.
“Oh, hahaha we do kinda look like a mess." She replied looking at herself and they all started walking towards a clean part of the river. The minute they entered, the river turned purple and red as the blood comes from their clothes and skin.
"Oh! We have a soap!" Dorang says as he runs to his bag to take out a couple of bars of soap and ran towards them removing his shirt at the same time. Soon after, a lot of people followed, and they all cleaned themselves asking one question after another to Daikichi and the rest of them. A lot of girls have circled Suyeon and bombarded her with attention as they made her seems like a goddess in their eyes.
While they clean themselves, I started throwing the crab legs and in the boiling water. Some of the guys who stayed helped me and the process became much faster than what I’m used to.
“Hey, Can I collect those shiny things?” I hear a voice below me and as I look, I see Nala grabbing on my pants looking up and pointing towards a section.
“Are those crystals?” I whisper looking at something shinning on the ground.
"Yeah, me and my brother used to collect them." She says and I see the sadness in her eyes as she probably remembered her brother. Not wanting to deny her, I nod towards her as I place my hand on her head.
“Sure, give me a minute," I tell her as I pat her head and she smiled at me nodding. I quickly jumped towards the area and brought my fist down the ground. “knockout!”
If there’s any insects or any monsters that might be under the ground to sleep, the runes that appeared will make it safe for her to roam around. I walked back towards her and she met me halfway running happily.
"Don't go too far, just stay around this area," I tell her.
"I won't!" She says as she runs towards the crystal happily skipping with her tiny legs. I walked my way back towards the boiling crab shell and flipped the legs to boil the other side.
“So what's for lunch?” Ms. Sam says as s the walks towards my way and her wet clothes skin tight into her figure isn’t making it easy to not look at her body.
"U-uh I'm boiling crabs. I don't have many ingredients but the crab in this world is to die for." I whisper averting my gaze as she looks around.
“Where’s Nala going?” she asked me.
“To collect some of those crystals.” I tell her and she kept staring at Nala who happily picked up her first crystal. “don’t worry, I used a skill that should have knocked out monsters in the area. Even under the ground.”
“Nala! Don’t go too far!” Ms. Sam shouts and we see her look at us smiling and waving innocently then went back to collect one crystal after another. She stood up after picking up one last crystal and she started jogging towards us struggling to keep the crystals in her arms as she bears hugs them.
“Aww, isn’t she cute?” Ms. Sam says, and I chuckle a bit.
“Yea she is-“ I suddenly stop as I see the rocks vibrate towards one direction. I felt the ground shake a bit but Ms. Sam didn’t notice as she kept smiling waiving towards Nala. All of a sudden, the floor started shaking violently like an earthquake is happening and I see Nala trip dropping all of the crystals on the ground as it clatters in front of her. The tiny earthquake suddenly stopped, and we see her started collecting her crystals happily off the ground as some of them rolled away from her.
“Let’s go help her Ms. Sam. I don’t feel comfortable for some reason-" I suddenly stopped as I see a weird silhouette behind her.
“Nala! Come back!” I shouted towards her running and all of a sudden, something appeared behind her showing its figure. “Nala!”
In one swing, the giant creature made from dirt itself swung at Nala hitting her in the back sending her flying like a bullet towards one direction.
“Seismic step!!” I rushed towards her catching her in mid-air. The impact of her body sent both of us flying into a distance and I hugged her as tight as I can use my body as a cushion.
BOOOM!
“Ack!” I wince in pain as I felt my backslide onto the ground. It was like I was sliding on sandpaper.
Groaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
The sound it let out was so loud, I felt like my ears will erupt. Rather than covering myself, I placed my hand on Nala’s ears that remained unconscious on top of me. It didn’t last long for it to stop and I felt something trickle down my ears as I quickly stand up and ran towards Ms. Sam who’s slowly getting up. Her expression went pale as she sees Nala’s lifeless body on my arms.
" No! No! No! Heal!" Ms. Sam shouts as she places her hands on Nala while I quickly set her down the ground. Her arms were broken but I’m more worried about internal damages.
“Suyeon! Takumi! Keep that thing busy! Kana! Miki-sensei! We need your help!!” I shouted out and Takumi suddenly charged towards the giant earth creature along with Suyeon who launched herself towards its face. I got a good glimpse at it before catching Nala and it looked like a golem.
BOOM!
Suyeons kick erupted its head but it quickly rebuilt itself back as fast as it was destroyed. Takumi went and tried to slice its arms but like its head, it rebuilt itself a new arm before the severed one fell to the ground.
“Shit! Daikichi! Everyone! Help them!” I shout and they all ran towards the giant golem. Kana and Miki-sensei finally reached us and I can see the complexion on their face as they tried to heal Nala who remained unconscious.
“Everyone, keep healing her," I say to them in a calm tone and I knew if I don’t do something, she won’t make it. I place my hand near Little Nala’s chest who started spitting out blood. I hear everyone’s muffled voice and I tried to control my breathing as I close my eyes.
"Hidden trait, activate," I whisper and a window appeared in front of me.
Activate life transfer?
Yes or No
“Yes.” My hand glowed and I felt energy slowly exiting my body as the light coming out of my chest traveled into Little Nala’s.
“Y-Yasu?" Kana muffled voice echoed in my ear and I gave her a smile as she looks up at me worried.
"It's fine. Keep healing." I tell her and she gave me a nod as I focused on healing her. Based on what they told me, this is the second time I activated this skill. I did something similar to Kana when she was on the verge of death.
“Argh.” I wince in pain as my chest felt like it was on fire. The light orbs coming out of my chest felt like it was made out of magma. My arms become heavy and it was getting harder to hold it in position.
cough!
Cough!
“Nala!” Ms. Sam shouts as Nala started breathing normally again after coughing up the remaining blood that probably entered her lungs. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes slowly and the first person she looked was me. I gave her a smile and I felt like my consciousness will disappear at any moment.
“Life transfer deactivate!” I shout and the light suddenly stopped, and I fell on my back as all the energy was pulled out of my body.
“Yasu!" Kana and Ms. Miki sensei shout in unison as they rushed towards me. I waved them to stop as I slowly forced myself up.
“I’m ok. I just need to rest a bit.” I whisper and I couldn’t look them in the eye.
“But Yasu, you-“
"Kana, if I didn't, she would have died," I whispered looking back at Little Nala who was hugging Ms. Sam. The picture of them embracing each other reminded me and my mother.
"If I didn't do it, Ms. Sam will be sad," I whisper as I slowly stood up. “Now, let’s go deal with that thing.”
"E-earth g-god?" Ms. Miki sensei says as she read the name of the giant earth monster who is constantly bombarded with attacks. But even how much they attack it, it's health rarely went down and it kept rebuilding itself.
Earth God (AREA BOSS)
99,676,100 / 100,000,000
"Fucking hell, its health is outrageous," I whisper as I slowly walked towards it.
“Yasu wai-" Kana suddenly stopped as she caught up with me and saw my expression.
I was smiling.
“That is really outrageous~” I sang as I walked towards it like a zombie.
But today is its unlucky day. He's about to meet someone more outrageous. I say in my mind as I couldn’t contain my smile. My vision started to become blurry and it felt like the world is spinning in all directions.
Cough*
Cough*
I feel like I’m ready to sleep at any moment and I tried my best to hold onto my conscience.
“Overdrive," I whisper my skill and felt my body regain all of its energy. “Seismic step.”
I kept walking slowly and as I got closer, I got into a position ready to jump directly into it. I closed my eyes and listened to all the muffled sounds around me. I inhaled as much as I can before slowly exhaling to calm my mind. I slowly opened my eyes and I felt all the energy surge through my body as my smile got wider and wider.
"Hell's blood," I felt my body burn as blood red flames encased my hands and shoulders. Veins appeared from my neck traveling across my face surrounding my eyes while it turned black and red enabling me to see heat signatures. I feel like my body is burning from the inside as I turned into a demon.
