[In the cosmic domain]
Approaching the one who had held Sam by the hair and threatened him with a blade, I lifted his head and retrieved the dagger I had acquired from the assassin during my looting spree.
"You don't need to worry. You won't die for the next 5 hours, no matter how much you beg for gods to save you. In my eyes, you are all like torturers of your victims. So why not taste your own medicine?" I coldly remarked.
"I'm sorry, please, I beg you, don't do this," Twitch pleaded, his voice filled with desperation.
He was the one who had tried to cut Sam's neck. If I had hesitated for even a second, Sam would have lost his life. I didn't want to become inhuman, but witnessing my family in such a vulnerable situation had started to make my heart grow cold.
"Oh no, Mr. Twitch, I can't forgive you. But if you cut off all the fingers from each of your gang members, I'll grant you freedom. How does that sound?" I proposed.
"Really? You're going to free me?" Twitch asked, his voice filled with a glimmer of hope.
"Why not? I'm not that bad of a person, you know. But I have a condition. I want you to fulfill it," I replied.
I shifted my gaze to the other four individuals and continued, "Oh no, but I have only one dagger, and all of you have lost your weapons. So here's what I propose: I'll throw this dagger, and if all five of you attempt to fulfill the condition, only one person will be granted freedom. You see, freedom is the most valuable thing in the world."
I retrieved a throne-like piece of furniture from my inventory space, which I had recently obtained from the supermarket. I sat on this throne and threw the dagger, wanting them to feel despair and beg for gods to save them.
l
"Now, let the show begin," I declared.
The five of them rushed towards the dagger, desperately fighting for their chance to live. They were like five dogs fighting over a single piece of bread. Among them, I noticed Twitch. I never forgot about him, and I never would. I would have liked to torture him myself, but I didn't know how to do it.
I had only seen such things in movies or read about them in novels. So, for now, I would simply watch as they carried out my instructions. I would save my own experiments for the last surviving member of this gang.
Lost in my thoughts, I suddenly saw Viper pick up the dagger, his face filled with delight as if he had won the lottery.
"Hahaha, I'm going to live! All of you are going to die! I never liked anyone in our gang. You all tried to rape my girlfriend and forced me to join you. But today, you guys are going to die," Viper exclaimed with a chilling satisfaction.
I was taken aback by what I heard. These motherfuckers had a deep history. Well, let's see how it unfolds. It's not like I care about their personal vendettas.
"Viper, my buddy, why not kill him, and we can all be free?" Spike suggested, his voice filled with desperation.
Oh, this guy actually has a brain. But his cunning won't help him in this situation because not even God himself can save them.
"Spike, I really wanted to kill you, but I never got the chance. Now go and die, you fucking bastard," Viper coldly replied.
As I observed this exchange, it seemed like they were trying to form alliances. I interrupted their conversation, reminding them of their impending death.
"All of you are going to die if you don't complete the task within the next five hours. Due to the breathing problems caused by the cosmic domain, don't do anything stupid. Just do as I asked," I declared, my tone filled with a sinister calmness.
All of them felt a true sense of despair in this situation. They had never thought that one day they would die in such a horrifying manner.
Viper regained his senses and attacked Spike, while the other three kept their distance from the fight. Viper used the dagger to try to kill Spike directly. They all looked the same when they wore masks, but now their faces were visible.
The dagger stopped upon touching Spike's body because he had awakened a skill called "Iron Skin," which made his body as hard as iron.
There was a twist: Spike, the leader, had something to rely on. He grabbed the dagger from Viper and swiftly plunged it into Viper's head, killing him in just one move.
It seemed like I had seen this move somewhere before. Instantly, Spike blended into the shadows and proceeded to kill each of the other three members one by one.
I was shocked because when I read his life history through my reality eyes, I never saw any mention of this skill or his connection to the organization that had tried to kill me in the hotel.
It was an unbelievable twist. How could my luck be that good? Suddenly, I heard a cracking sound coming from his bracelet. So, this bracelet was an item that helped him hide his identity from my reality eyes.
How on earth was that even possible? Not even an S-class item could have helped him in this situation where my eyes could see everything. Did he know that I had killed that assassin and intentionally tried to find me, or was there something else going on?
"Alice, control the domain's living conditions. Make it harder for survival. Make it so he can only survive for 2 minutes."
"I'm not that moron to fight him head-on if he has such a valuable item. He must be an important person."
[ Yes, Master. The living conditions in the cosmic domain have been weakened. The target can only survive for two minutes now]
Spike looked at me and said, "You seem to know my organization's name, judging by your response."
"Yes, I know. But don't worry, even today, I want you to die. Not even a god can save you. Your father is not even close to saving you," I said coldly.

"Wow, you're so confident. But I'm not here to beg you. You're going to free me because I have this," he said as he took out his bracelet, and the bracelet started to glow.
Then, I saw a holographic image, and I was beyond shocked. This was the first time I had seen this figure in person, but my cosmic vault was buzzing like mad.
I used my shadow cloak to hide my face from the holographic person.
After seeing this ability, Spike was beyond shocked because this ability was only given to the royalty of the organization.
"You, you... How is that even possible? How can you have this ability? It doesn't make sense... It's an ability, no, no!" Spike was in utter shock.
Well, that's because Alice obtained this ability from the assassin I killed in the infinite realm space, and she extracted the skill. It's impossible for even the World Orb to extract such a skill from someone.
Suddenly, the holographic person spoke, "Interesting. In this reality, we have finally found an anomaly we have been searching for. Yes, this space is the same as the one we saw long ago. So, you are truly the one we are looking for."
I was stunned. I never thought I would have such a terrifying alien as an enemy. But how did I become their enemy? I have never met anyone like them. Let's calm down.
This has to be something to do with the fucking author. I know my life is not going to be as easy as I thought, but an alien as an enemy in the starting chapters? Is this fucking author gone mad? Let's calm down and listen to what he has to say.
"What do you mean you are looking for me? I have never met you before," I asked.
He replied, "Hmmm, I see you're ignorant about your life. Well, that makes sense. I have never seen someone as ignorant as you in my one million years of life."
I was beyond shocked upon hearing his words. This person in front of me was millions of years old. What the hell was this situation? How could someone live for so long? This must be due to his rank. When someone ranks up, their life expectancy also increases. How powerful was he?
"Don't think too much. Listen to what I have to say. If you agree, it will save this dying world and everything you love. You just have to die. How about this?" he said, as if he were judging my life and giving a verdict.
I didn't know how to respond. Was this Alien creature the reason why this world had turned into hell? But if he was that powerful, he could have easily destroyed this world without any effort. Why hadn't he done it yet? Was there someone protecting this world, or was there something else at play?
"What if I say no?" I asked.
"Then you and everyone you have ever loved will die along with this world. We are coming here. We will arrive soon. And one more thing, don't kill him. If you kill him now, your world will be destroyed before we even arrive," he said.
"Do you think I believe you? Let me tell you something. Before you arrive here, no matter what situation this world faces and no matter who you are, I'll kill you and your entire race, with a bonus. I may not be that strong right now, but when you arrive, you will see who you messed with without knowing anything about me."
"As for this bastard, I don't care what his father does. Even if he destroys this world, I don't give a fuck about his father or you. I'll kill that motherfucker right in front of your eyes." Retrieving my dagger, I stepped forward and grabbed Spike's head by his hair.
He pleaded, "Please don't kill me. My father is not going to let you live if you kill me."
"Please, help me, Elder. I don't want to die, please," he said, turning to the person in the hologram.
"You! I already said that not even a god can save you today, and this person is in no way going to save you. He's not even here," I declared. I used the dagger and swiftly slit his throat, causing his head to fall to the ground.
The holographic person exclaimed, "You! Why did you do that? I told you not to do this. You've made a big mistake, boy. I'll see you soon. Wait for your death."
"Get lost you old-ass alien! Or I swear I'll make you regret stepping foot on this planet for the shit you've pulled!" I shouted, frustration evident in my voice.
"You... honestly think I give a damn about who you are? I couldn't care less if you're some big-shot general for the Primordial," he rambled on, but I promptly cut him off by stepping directly on his fancy bracelet and firmly fired back, "I don't give a fuck, even if your supposed god is hanging around. We'll chat when we come face to face, you freaking alien."
Afterward, Alice placed the corpses of those idiots into the Infinite Realm to extract anything useful, and I deactivated my cosmic domain.
Outside, not even five minutes had passed. I removed my shadow cloak and checked to see if Sam was okay. I had witnessed many things today, and I had foolishly thought everything was under my control.
It's ironic how my own fate is not in my hands. Stupid of me to think that everything would go according to my plans. That damn author, giving me such a situation without sufficient time to develop.
I'm going to face the main villain in just a few chapters. What kind of situation is this? Let's calm down.
[Fourth wall]
Hey guys, I don't know how to say this, but my situation is not looking good. I nearly lost myself because some motherfucker tried to harm my family, and some twists and turns led me to meet the main villain in the early chapters.
Is this some kind of joke? I've never seen a situation like this in a novel before. I've read many novels in our world, but the protagonist never faces such circumstances. It's like I was mistaken.
Technically, I'm in a novel now, and this is my reality. I have to accept it and make preparations, because when someone dies, no matter where they are, that place becomes their reality.
If I continue like this, I'll surely die. I hope I can talk to you guys, like the constellation system or something similar. I remember reading about it in a novel called "OMNISCIENT READER'S VIEWPOINT "
In the future, I'll try to create something similar using my fourth wall and many other things. But for now, let's forget about it. I just lost myself in front of a novel character, and it feels like the author is playing with my emotions.
By the way, I gotta be real with you—I have zero clue on how to torture someone. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was a regular human being, no joke. I hope you all can understand that. I'll do my best to play the role of a decent protagonist. And hey, could you do me a favor and pass on a message to that darn author? Tell them to lay off messing around with my emotions too much.
Because as the novel progresses, my innate ability will also upgrade. See you guys.

[Innate Ability:]
[- Unscripted Reality Manipulation: ] [Evolvable]
- Description: Alex possesses the extraordinary ability to manipulate and bend the laws of reality within the confines of the story. He can rewrite his own abilities, break the rules, interact with readers, and alter the story. It will upgrade according to the novel's growth.
Well, let's see what surprise this ability will give me. After thinking about what I've done, I realize I did something only idiots do. Well, at least I hid my face; that was a good part.
But if I killed all of them in one move, that would be even better. No more talking or chit-chatting with enemies. I've made up my mind; I'll kill all my enemies with a single attack. I'll never make this mistake again in my life.
Suddenly, I heard Sam's voice.
"Brother, are you okay?" he said.
"Of course, you moron. I'm not like you, getting captured by some thug gang," I said, hiding the real truth. By saying this, I hoped to motivate him, and I didn't know any other methods to do that. Once I met my family, I would ensure their safety and be tension-free.
He nodded as if my words had worked. I was about to say something, but suddenly I heard the supermarket collapsing.
I grabbed Sam and teleported us outside the mall using instant transfer because there was no time to think about anything.
I completely forgot that I showed my ability to Sam, but right now, a bigger problem was in front of me. I saw the sky turning completely red like blood.
What the heck? Instead of a serene blue sky, I was greeted with a freakin' red sky. And out of nowhere, right in the midst of the sky, a crack formed in the shape of an eye, unleashing these bizarre creatures unlike anything I've ever seen before. They just started pouring out, man. Total madness.
"What the heck is this? This is not the dungeon I've seen until now," I was shocked.
Suddenly, I heard an announcement from the World Orb that was heard by every living being on this planet.
