[{Not so Christmas Presents}]

“Gale! Over here! I found something,” Athol called to the Hinu woman.

“What is it?” Gale bounded over.

“Look,” the Tiefling brushed off a piece of foliage from her shirt with her tail, pointing to the span of 15 or more people, all unconscious and adoring tattered clothes.

“Was’ goin’ on o’er ‘ere?” Brutus stopped his trap setting and walked over curiously.

“These people look like they need help,” Gale explained.

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

No shit, Athol thought as she heard Gale’s explanation, carefully wrapping her tail around one of the unconscious, “let’s take them back to the cave.”

“‘Ight,” Brutus replied, grabbing two to carry, Gale assisting him loading the people atop his back. Once finally having all the people on their backs (and wrapped in Athol’s tail), they set off to the cave. As they arrived, they placed the now guests into rooms, 5,5,4,1 being the arrangements to prevent any mixed rooms.

“Lookin’ at it all I think we might need ‘ta do some more foragin’.” Brutus commented, turning to Gale.

“Just about yeah,” Athol replied, “we’re going to need a lot more food for our not-so Christmas presents here. I’ll just hold down the fort in the meantime. Hopefully they’ll move out on their own accord.”
