"Vessa, wake up". - Someone called me to wake up

"Uhhh...". - I opened my eyes, at least I'd had a good sleep, I meant... I dozed off

After opening my eyes, I look around, seeing the people forming the formation and other things. They're purposing to wipe out the enemy navy forces, which are believed to be heading to this river way in the morning. That intel was informed by Spera Spec Ops Head Hunters unit, they raided the enemy before dawn. After raiding, those Marines informed us about the incoming attack and their tactics. As a result, our Elven battalion and an Aquaman platoon marched to this place.

This time, the soldiers are still chopping down trees, intending to hew them into pikes and traps to stop the enemy's movement. I managed to sleep a little bit without being caught, all thanks to my buddy Pvt. Ron. After waking me up, Ron just leaves the area and joins the others without saying a word. Knowing I must help my soldiers and allies to fight against the enemy, I stand up, slowly looking for somewhere that needs help. Looking around for a while, I spot some Green Marines standing at the riverside.

Apparently, those Green Marines and our Elven soldiers wear the dyed green armors, purposing to mix ourselves into the jungle and to camouflage. However, the way they do, I mean the camouflage things are different from us.

An Elven soldier will be equipped with a leather or cloth armor, surrounded with leaves and grass to camouflage. His weapons will be about the bow and the arrow pack, a short spear, a small wooden shield strapped to his left hand. That's all about the basic load out of an Elven soldier that I can say about, I think so.

Surrounded by my curiosity and confusion when I see those Spec Ops Marines stuffing crates on the small boats placed on the riverside, I approach them. After coming closer, I realize that these Spec Ops Marines are stuffing crates on the sampans (Traditional sea transport of the Beastmen). Those crates when they're opened, happen to be the things called muskets or something. Those men have placed quite many sampans on the river, but for what?

I keep walking along the river while noticing that this river is quite large. With its largeness, the Attenta warships can move in here easily. But I'm wondering how they would deploy their troops if they head to the shore which we're waiting to ambush 'em when they come.

I walk along the river and then return to the position of those Spec Ops Marines, they're still stuffing those crates on the sampans. Looking at those wooden boats for a while, I glance at somewhere else, hoping to find anything else interesting to look at. That's the time I spot some things, seem to be humans who are raising their heads while their bodies are diving into the river.

Lt. Platto - the Commander of the Special Forces group is talking to that person. The one on the river seems to be a fishman who comes from the Beastmen Army. His skin can be seen covered with dense fins, his hair's also long fin as well, as well as his arms when he reaches the shore to guide Lt. Platto. Shortly, other fishmen dive up from the river and stay silent as if they're hearing the Lieutenant's brief. Maybe Aquaman platoon will do the scout mission for us, while we'll stay here to wait for the enemy to come to make an instantaneous ambush.

After hearing the speech of the Lieutenant, those fishmen dive into the water's surface and seem to be heading to the scouting mission. Done observing them, I look behind and see the Elven troops gathering around the trees to chop them off. They're attempting to make massive numbers of pikes hewed from the trees, to make the booby traps to stop the enemy navy's movement. However, I didn't intend to get to my troops but decided to stay here. The appearance of sampans on the river makes me want to know the purpose of using them for the incoming seize naval battle.

"Taps!". - As a result, I tapped on a Marine's back, this guy was crossing me, so I wanted to ask him right away

(Uhh... what?). - This guy's name is Rison as his nameplate shows me... but wait, he was speaking the human language

"Hey, what are those sampans used for?". "Understand me, man...?". "Hello...". - Speaking to that Marine but he seemed to be bewildered at what I was saying, I didn't know what to say about this

(Englis, stop saying Tuku). - Honestly, I don't know how to say the human language, this guy doesn't know to speak our Elven language either

Knowing there's a bit of barrier of a language communication between me and the man, I try to find a solution to explain to him. A short time later, I tap on Rison's shoulder and point to him the sampans' position, later shake my head to show him I don't understand why those boats have to be used in the battle.

(Uhhh... those sampans...?). - He tilted his head to the right while asking me in human language

"Yes". "Nod". - I also nodded to let him understand

(We'll be the vanguard, moving our guys out to lure those Reds here). (Put more grass on your clothes, man...). - Done speaking to me, he walked away to guard the riverside

Honestly, I don't understand what he said earlier yet. However, I think those sampans may be used to engage the enemy small boats in case they're the pioneers, going to scout before heading their warships here.

"Pvt. Vessa, return here!". - When I intended to return to my platoon, someone yelled from behind, asking me to return

I rush to my platoon and realize the one who called me earlier was Pvt. Ron. This guy and other Elven soldiers are sitting on the ground, taking the chopped logs or sticks to hew, shaping them into pikes to put under the river. Done calling me back to the platoon, he sits on the ground and pulls out his dagger, starts hewing the logs. Knowing I must join my men, I also sit down and Ron gives me a log. I nod to thank him and shortly receive the log, start to hewing it as well.

To say about guerilla warfare, our Elven Army has been used to it for a very long time, from the past till this time. However, only our ancestors were used to that kind of jungle fighting warfare since 500 years ago was the era of the massive war against the demons. Currently, everything our young soldiers know is just things written in books, mostly theories. For that reason, we're all inexperienced and now are trying to apply things we learned from those military books to real warfare.

According to the plan:

- The Attenta navy forces will inbound from the southeast of White River, No Man Zone.

- Aquaman platoon will be the vanguard, heading to the enemy position to scout them.

-After knowing their exact location and their estimated time of arrival, those fishmen will return to inform us, ready to ambush them.

- Our Elven battalion and the Spec Ops Head Hunters unit will stay here to set up booby traps on the river, in order to sink their warships and eliminate them in an only strike

Despite knowing nothing about the sampans' uses in this sea battle, I assume they'll be used to engage the enemy small boats.

While thinking about the sampans, I also hewed the logs to make them into wooden pikes, later slowly putting them on the ground. My hand grabs another log and I start hewing another log, slowly doing it to every log that I see. After having done hewing a large number of wooden logs into the pikes, our Elven soldiers pick up the pikes and head to the river.

This river's surface is very wide, we can put these pikes on the soil. They'll be placed deep in there, and be covered by the river's water, making the pikes become the hidden weapons to sink the enemy warships, it's the plan.

"Don't go that way, it's already placed". "Move slowly, guys". "They'll hit our feet, don't rush, just stay calm and go". - While crossing the riverside, some Elven buddies reminded each other not to come to the left since the pikes had already been set up in that area

We slowly deepen ourselves into the river's surface, slowly swim to the empty area and dive down. After diving into that site, we start handing over the pikes to each other and putting them down on the soil. Because we're now underwater so we must hold our breath while setting up the pikes. Placing the pikes for a while, I get up from the river because my turn's end, other buddies will take my place.

"Hahhhhhh... hahhhhhh...". - I gasped after staying deep in the water for a while

Slowly I return to the previous position to grab the newly cut logs. Sit down on the ground, I pull out my dagger, detailedly grind and hew those things into the sharpest wooden pikes, using them to ambush the Attenta incoming navy forces. Shortly after that, I bring those new pikes to the river, waiting for my turn to place the pikes on the soil once again.

After coming to the riverside, I glance at the river's streamline while holding the pikes in my hands. I can see the stream widening before my eyes, the river's long and wide, with a strange natural white color water. According to our ancestors, the water in this river is harmful to natural living, that's the reason why marine life can't be seen appearing here. However, despite being a "dead" river, its white color is still very beautiful... such a pity when this river will be the grave of the enemies.

Such a pity to see the white river to be colored in the red of blood flowing down from the warships. Thinking for a while, I move to the riverside, start diving down to put the pikes on the soil.

Private Rison's perspective

5th Platoon - 12th Battalion

US Green Marine Corps - Special Forces Head Hunters unit - United Jung Army - Freedom Beastmen Army joint operation

8:44 AM - December 14, 1173

Kurkan - No Man Zone

After we cleared and secured the enemy camp, we ordered the Aquaman platoon from the Beastmen Army and the Archer Battalion of the Elven Army to gather here. They had set up the booby traps in this river from dawn to morning by now, it went successfully, according to me.

We had just sent the FBA warrior aquamen out of the river to spot the enemy's movement. When they return with their intel to us, we'll pull these sampan babies out to play with those warships, will roll and lure 'em to the trap placed in this riverside. Done thinking, I strap my weapons in my body since I won't need to use 'em this time. Maybe I should be more patient, those fishes will return to us soon, c'mon!

"Taps!". "Ey, man". - All of sudden, Pvt. Hustur tapped me, later gave me some kind of... plant?

"What's this?". - I received that strange red plant... hmm, it had a strange scent

"Drugs". "Use it, it's good...".

"Drugs...?".

"It's better if you eat it". - Done talking, he rolled that plant and put it in his mouth

Shortly I spot my buddy is a bit odd when his cheeks turn red and his breath is now hot and had the smell like that plant. "This guy... is high on drugs or something?", that was what I thought when I saw him behaving like that. Saying the truth, I'm also aware and cautious when he asks me to use this drug... but maybe trying some new stuff won't be a big deal, I guess.

"Your tension and everything will go away when you try it, man...". "C'mon... use it, just one try, to... change you forever". "Woo... woo... hoo". - Speaking to me while stepping on a sampan, this dude later approached a crate

When the Aquaman platoon and the Archer battalion were coming to us, we also sent a letter back to Krieg Base. Receiving our intel, our boys sent us these crates, which stored the muskets which had sizes 3 times larger than our usual weapons.

Those things are specially designed to eliminate armored targets with thick protections. However, these guns are just prototypes, cannot make sure if they can prove anything good in the incoming naval battle or not.

Instead of observing Hustur, I look at the plant I'm holding, wondering if I should sniff it and get high or not. But finally, I drop it and smash the plant by using my right boot. After I smashed the plant, I look up and spot some ones diving on the river, seem to be coming here. Turned out they were the fishmen who we sent out earlier, they had returned after the scout. Those fishmen head to the shore, they slowly approaching our Lt. Platto, he's now behind them, discussing with the Elven battalion's Commander.

"Oh...?". "What's the situation?". - Our Commander stopped communicating with the battalion's Commander and turned to look at the returned scouters

"They're comin', just outside here". "You people finished setting up the pikes yet?". - The platoon leader spoke to us by using human language, he asked us about the pike-setting process in the river

"Nod!". "Have done everything, but our fellows want to make sure they won't miss anything". "They're putting more just to make sure... does it bother our ambush or what?".

"Of course not, Lieutenant". "Have your sampans readied yet? When to move out?".

"Now". "Pick a sampan and get on it, Rison". "You and others too, come up quick".

Hearing our Lieutenant's order, the SOHH operatives fastly step on each sampan and pull out the giant muskets from the crates put on the small boats. I also come up to join my platoon but haven't done anything yet. Because I'm glancing at Lt. Platto, he returns to talking to the UJA (United Jung Army) soldiers. Seems like our Lieutenant won't join this opening attack to lure the enemy.

"Ferd, be a pillar". "Rison, you shoot". "Mellari, drive, with Hustur". - Suddenly our Lieutenant ordered us to get on the sampan

"You come too, Lieutenant?". - Hustur asked our Commander

Turned out he also joined us in this attack. Lt. Platto steps on the sampan and opens two crates, he later pulls out two giant fucking muskets. Instead of holding the two, he gives me one. As I receive the giant musket, I can feel its terrible heaviness, it's not just big but also heavy, I guess its bullet is also heavy... and very strong.

"It's one-time use stuff". "After shooting, drop it and pick up the below". - Lieutenant shortly pointed the gun, placing its barrel on Ferd's left shoulder who was standing in the middle with his back in front of us

"Using this thing needs to sacrifice your shoulders... maybe your ears too... worst will be also your life". "Any last words, Pvt. Ferd?".

"The duty calls me, Sir". "I'll take all of it for our victory".

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.

"Good, Goddess bless you". "Stand tight, will be very loud and constantly, do not fall". - Now the one I hate was being used as a gun's bipod, somehow I felt bad for him

"We'll assist you people, Lieutenant!". "Let us help you put some water inside their ship". "Move out, people". - The Aquaman platoon leader said to our Lieutenant that he would aid us

After that, those fishmen deepen themselves under the river, purposing to head to the enemy warships and crack some holes to make them slowly sink. I later put the giant musket on Ferd's left shoulder while seeing Lt. Platto putting the red plants I saw earlier to Ferd's mouth.

"Take some Sassapases, take your pain away". - Done saying to Ferd, he chewed the drugs while nodding to Lieutenant

"Alright, boys!". "All sampans, move out!". - Our Lieutenant ordered us to move out sampans out

Aside from our sampan with 5 men, there are 7 other sampans with 35 other SOHH operatives alongside us in this mission. Our platoon members' sampans are leading the river way, while we go behind 'em since this one is the leader's sampan. Hearing the order, those sampans immediately run on top and lead the way. Meanwhile, Hustur and Mellari are using all of their forces to hold the paddles, driving our sampan at the highest speed on the river.

The speed when we're moving on the river slowly speeds up and gets faster than ever, like the wind. This river is very wide so we can move without struggles, especially when we need to dodge the Attenta warships during the luring progress. After moving for a while, the riverside from the right to the left can be seen having pikes placed on those sides, they look scary.

Those pikes have the chopped enemy heads and some of their limbs stick on the top of the pikes. It took us hours to do that, purposing to scare the Attenta, making their morales go away when their soldiers see these heads while coming to us through their warships.

"Let's see what they'll think of this...". "Speed up, Marines!". - Lt. Platto glanced at the heads for a while and then ordered us to go faster

Our sampans immediately speed up faster. In a short time, we've made it through many river lines, about thousands of meters from the time we started driving them. Now I can see the warships from afar, they seem to haven't noticed our existence. Our Commander holds the giant musket tightly while nodding, telling us to approach the enemy warships. Purposing to hit 'em, causing some holes.

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!!!!!". - Muskets from other sampans had been shot, their sounds were loud like the lighting strikes, luckily I was afar from them, or I'd have been deaf

After shooting the warship in front of me, those sampans dodge them and move to other ones to cause damage. Our SOHH operatives threw those giant muskets underwater after using them, causing us a bit of struggle when we had to dodge the things they threw. Moving forward to the incoming warship, Lt. Platto holds his rifle tightly, while I look through its iron sight to have an accurate shot.

"Ready, Ferd?!!!".

"Yes, Sir!!!".

"Shoot 'em!". - Our sampan came closer, we targeted the wooden warship's hull and keel, later pulled the triggers

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!". "Urrrrrgggghh!". - After two shots, our ears were nearly deaf, while Ferd showed us his endurance when his ears and his shoulders were affected by the impacts

"Out! Reloading!". - We immediately dumped those giant muskets on the water, later pulled out two new ones from another crate placed on our sampan

By the way, we had stuffed many musket crates on our sampan in order to do this mission. Because these things are many, we'll use up these muskets as much as possible till we run out of ammunition. After that, we'll return to join the ambush with the elves.

Our sampan fastly moves to the right side and dodges the current warship. In front of us when we've passed the warship, appears to have another one incoming for us. We fastly put our giant muskets on Ferd's shoulders, later targeting its hull and its keel. We'll shoot once again.

"Ready?!!!!!".

"Yes Sir!!!!!!".

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". - Two more shots, my ears had completely ringed, we later threw those muskets on the water

"Reloading!!!". - We crouched down to take two more muskets, later put them on Ferd's shoulders to use 'em

I saw two other sampans pass the incoming warship. This time, our sampan is about to head to them, we hold our muskets tightly while pointing to the warship, ready to fire. While heading to the warship, I check on Ferd to make sure he'll be able to tolerate the gunshots. We point out weapons to the ship's keel and its hull once again.

"Ready, Ferd?!!!!".

"Yes, Sir!!!".

"Fire!".

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!". - Two more shots were fired, two more muskets dropped

"Lieutenant, enemy boats ahead!". - All of sudden, Pvt. Ferd alerted us, saying two enemy boats were incoming

I didn't think it would happen when we were doing this. Honestly, at first, we didn't see any enemy small boats while attacking the earlier waves of Attenta warships. Got the alert from Ferd, I immediately crouch down and rush to take out another giant musket. Later I put it on his shoulder, ready to fire. However, the Lieutenant doesn't do that, instead he draws out his bow and arrows to fight.

"Incoming, right side!!!!". - Ferd used all of his power to roar out, I hope his throat was still alright

After hearing him inform, I point the musket on the right side, later spot two incoming small boats. The boats are having Attenta archers on them, going alongside while having two archers standing and a driver on each boat.

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Urrrrrgggghh! Shit!". "Cough! Cough! Cough!". - Seeing the enemy, I pulled the trigger and the giant musket fired, later popping out much white smoke, that even made me cough a bit

"Idiot!". "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - When I was fighting against my ringed ears and my unbalance after shooting, Lt. Platto scolded me

Turned out I missed the entire shot, its recoil made the bullet fly wrongly. However, the Lieutenant managed to shoot down those Attenta archers. Later I retake my balance and my calmness, so I kick the previous musket down the water. Later I open the next crate to grab another giant musket, also checking on Ferd to make sure he's still alright.

"Enemy above, speed up!". "Rison, you take the front!". - Lieutenant yelled loudly while shooting his bow at the enemies who were exposing their heads from the top of the warship

"Keep your fucking eyes on, Rison!". "These ships will tear us to pieces, take focus!".

I immediately drop the giant musket on the floor of the sampan and draw out my bow and arrows. Always remember to hold 4 extra arrows on the exposed parts of my fingers, for fast reload.

"Rison, left and right side!". - Ferd yelled, telling me the incoming enemy boats

I take cover from his back, later lean my head out and see two other Attenta mini-boats that are coming from both sides. Two of the archers have been downed, seem to have been eliminated thanks to our pioneer teams.

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - I shot those 4 men in the chest, later they fell so I put my bow to my belt, strapped it, to be more convenient if I want to draw it out faster

"Clear!". "Return to create more holes!". - Lt. Platto managed to take out the above enemies, later he took out another giant musket

The two of us put our muskets on Ferd's shoulders while pointing them to the next incoming warship. According to the intel, the enemy outnumbers us, so we must make their boats sink, bury all of them, cannot let them reach the shore. Damaging them by using these muskets will be a little side part. Luring them to the set-up river to let their warships taste the pikes to stick themselves and get killed will be the main part!

"Shoot!!!".

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". - Two more muskets thrown on the water, Lt. Platto took out his bow to aim above, waiting for the enemy archers on the top of their warship

I rush to take out another giant musket, later put it on Ferd's shoulder to ready to shoot again. Now I only see empty mini-boats incoming to me, meaning that our pioneer sampan teams have successfully killed 'em all. The incoming warship seems to be the last one to come or something. After heading through 12 huge Attenta warships, I see no more ship can be seen covered behind this incoming one. So I think the current one is the last Attenta enemy warship.

"Shoot, Rison!!!!!". - Although my ears were ringing, but I could see Ferd's mouth opening very wide as if he was shouting, asking me to shoot the warship

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!".

Later I take out two more giant muskets in case Lt. Platto returns here to take one to join me. Our Commander later puts his bow to his belt and straps it. Later the two of us ready our muskets, pointing them to Ferd's shoulders while waiting for our sampan to rotate its direction. After getting through everything, our sampan fastly diverts to the left side and follows the stream to return to where we used to head, to return to the ambush area.

"Speed up more, Marines!". - Our Commander ordered our sampan drivers to move faster in order to return

"Ready, Ferd?!!!".

"Yes, Sir!!!!!".

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". - After deafening our ears, we dropped those giant muskets on the water

"Enemy incoming!". - I heard Ferd yell something, but my ears were ringing so could not make sure what he was yelling about

"What the?!". "Lieutenant, bunches of Reds incoming!". - I leaned my head out of his back and later spotted 3 incoming enemy mini-boats, with 6 archers targeting us

"Urrrrrgggghh! Urrrrrgggghh! Help! Urrrrrgggghh!". - I managed to sneak behind Ferd's back, he kept yelling in pain when he was being shot by the enemy arrows

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!". "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". "Shit!". - I pulled out my bow and arrows to shoot back, but ended up shooting missed twice, even accidentally dropping some of my arrows

"Hit 'em hard!!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!!!!". - Lt. Platto suddenly used one giant musket to shoot the only remaining enemy boat, it was later shredded apart since the bullet hit it from the close distance

"No!!!". - Ended up destroying the enemy small boats, we later returned to check on Ferd's situation, but later found out he was lying on the floor, seemed to have died

I crouch down to check on Ferd, later spot 8 arrows sticking on his chest and his upper forearms, even his lower calves. I kneel before my dying buddy in shock while the Lieutenant pulls out his bow and arrows, showing the emotionless on his face.

"Shit...". - Our Commander swore silently while pointing his bow and arrows to anywhere he considered to have the enemy

Everything is so silent by now, the water's surface shows us the blood of the fallen enemies who had been killed earlier. Our drivers keep driving the sampan swiftly and carefully to dodge the obstacles and return to our ambush place. We've survived, but also lost a lot of men, this day is a sad day.

Arani's perspective

After the Aquaman platoon and the Spec Ops Head Hunters had gone away to lure the enemy warships in this ambush area, we intended to wait for their return. By that, more pikes had been placed under the river to make sure the ambush effective would be more lethal and successful.

Currently, we've done setting up booby traps to sink the Attenta warships. Our UJA guerilla soldiers are now either lying on the grass or sneaking behind the trees, waiting for the ambush. Lying on the ground beside my buddy Pvt. Ron, I ready my bow and arrows which have white cloths wrapped on their pointy tips. When the enemy warships get in here and get stuck by hitting the pikes under the river, we'll use our burning arrows to burn them down, sink 'em.

On the riverside, the pikes with bloody heads and limbs can be seen sticking on them, being put all around the riverside. Meanwhile, the shore of the river has many heads being thrown around, purposing to break down the enemy's spirits when they manage to get on the shore. These Head Hunters are so sick and psychopathic, the way they do with the enemy after they're dead, makes me want to vomit and forget everything I had seen. Despite things like these will be considered bad and "war crimes" in our alliance agreement... but we still decided to help these humans. Maybe after this battle, our Battalion Commander should inform this thing to His Majesty. Only our King can judge if we should keep allying with these people or not, especially this unit.

"Stay sharp, soldiers...". - Our Platoon Commander - Lt. Havi, told us to stay calm, because most of us were very scared to see terrible things on the shore

Because this will be our very first battle, and we're completely inexperienced, don't know if we can fight well this first time or not. All of sudden, when I was thinking about the incoming battle, my eyes spotted something moving to our river way. Turned out those were the fishmen who had just returned after causing some holes under the Attenta warships, they were very fine.

"Head Hunters are about to return here". "Their men are wounded, they need help!". - The Aquaman platoon leader told us to prepare for the next scenario which was about to come to us

Just as he ends his words, the Spec Ops sampans can be seen riding toward the shore at a very high speed. After going through us, they stop their boats from a site from behind. Their return means the enemy warships are about to come to us. However, the setup has already been finished, now our Elven battalion will take care of the rest of the naval battle... guerrilla ways.

When their sampans stop and park at the shore from behind us, the Spec Ops Marines are coming out. Lieutenant Platto can be seen stepping out of one sampan while the fishmen and other SOHH operatives are carrying the wounded to the shoreline. During that situation, some of our Elven soldiers also came out to aid the humans.

"Incoming, they're near us!". - Lt. Platto yelled to us while observing his wounded men

"Man, don't fucking die!". "Hey, hear me, hear me, Ferd...". "Medic! We need medics! C'mon, get here!". - Pvt. Rison could be seen carrying a wounded SOHH operative to the shore, he was asking for the help of the Elven medic soldiers

"Stay sharp, soldiers...". "They're coming in, on my mark... do not shoot without my permission". - Lt. Havi ordered us to stay silent

The ambush area later stays silent, the medic soldiers are now healing the wounded while the FBA warrior fishmen are diving on the White River. These aquamen will also help to hit the enemy while getting down there. About the SOHH operatives, some of them are joining us, while some are staying with their wounded buddies. I can see some of them holding big muskets for no reason.

"Enemy spotted, incoming". - Lt. Havi told us to keep our eyes on the enemy

Currently, the enemy warships can be seen heading toward the river line where we're lying nearby. Totally 12 huge Attenta warships, they're riding toward here slowly as if they intend to deploy their troops here. Lying on the grass with our camouflage military uniforms, we slowly point our hands to the arrows we put on our bows. When they get in the booby traps, we'll cast magic on the arrows' pointy tips to burn their ships out.

"Stand by... stand by...". - Our Lieutenant was asking us to hold our attack

"Stand by... stand by...". - The enemy warships were heading toward the pike traps, just a little more and all of them would be stuck there forever

"Stand by... stand by...". - Observing their warships for a while, later they got slower, shortly couldn't move anymore, they were trapped in the pikes!

"Shoot 'em!!!". - Hearing the order to attack, we casted fire magic on the arrows, later exposed us out while pointing at the enemy warships

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - Hundreds of rain fire arrows flew and then landed on the warships' keels or hulls, they were now burning non-stop

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". - All of sudden, loud noises like thunderstorms sounded out, they ringed my ears, I could see many warships' keels were having many big holes after hitting those sounds

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!".

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - I covered my ears because the noises were too loud, later I saw water infiltrating the warships, the broken holes caused that result

"Stand your ground!". "Reload your bows and cloths for the next rain, immediately!". - Our Lieutenant yelled at us, telling us to tolerate the noises but reloading our bows for the next rain arrow

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!".

After hearing those sounds have been stopped, I return to reload my bow by placing another arrow with the cloth on the pointy tip. The rest of UJA guerilla soldiers have also done reloading, we pull the string and start aiming at the damaged Attenta warships.

"Fire!!!".

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - Other hundreds of rain flame arrows landed on the warships, the hostiles couldn't fight us because they were being burned by the flames

I can see barely that some of the enemies who are on the warships' tops, are trying to jump down the water or leaning the ladders down. Those who are burning are trying to jump down while those who are in pieces are trying to get down by using the ladders. However, most of them will be ended up dying either way since the SOHH operatives are aiming at those who are alive in the attack.

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". - Four more loud noises came out, two warships were about to be sunk, their wooden pieces were tearing apart, floating on the water

"Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". "Baaaaaaaannngggggg!!!!". - Three more loud noises, the warships were sinking while burning, dead bodies could be seen floating on the river and its white color was changing into the redness of blood

While observing those scenes, we've already reloaded our bows, but seems like we don't need to attack anymore since all of them are dying. Some enemy soldiers can be seen surviving and safe after jumping down the river, but are later dragged down and killed by the FBA fishmen. Some Attenta warships from behind seem to have been lucky when they're the less to hit the ambush. They're still getting shot but still manage to get their ladders down to deploy their Attenta soldiers. However, seems like after seeing the pikes of heads and limbs after heading to the shore, all of them decide to run away. Those who stay to fight are now dying 'cause of being attacked by other UJA guerilla archers, poor them.

Although the ambush and the fighting formation setup were tight and good, some of the enemies managed to flee deep inside the woods. Well, they'll be hunted down by the predator animals or our soldiers if they go too far from here. Otherwise, we'll have to search for them, later have to capture or eliminate them in case they are uncooperative.

Instead of fighting, we decide to let the fire do the rest of the battle while looking at the bloody scene from afar. At first I was scared... but seemed like seeing the enemy dying from afar would be less scary than I thought, maybe. Two farthest Attenta warships from behind can be seen fleeing from the ambush area despite they're burning heavily. Meanwhile, most enemy warships have now sunk on the river, or are sinking half of their surfaces.

"Is this the end, Sir?". - While observing the sinking warships, Pvt. Ron asked our Lieutenant

"Not yet, Pvt. Ron". "They'll come back, this is just the beginning... next time, will be larger...". "Let's cuff them". - Done saying, our Lieutenant and us, also the rest of our platoon and other units started approaching the wounded enemy

As I can see when we're going down the high ground to head to the riverside to capture the enemy soldiers. Their ships are either sinking, or burning heavily, some managed to flee. About the enemy soldiers, most are incapable, cannot move but are waiting to die. Most are dying and floating on the water, while some are still alive and are floating, being drifted to different shore sides. Some of the enemies managed to flee to the jungle, they would be taken care of in the future.

Reaching the riverside, we see the enemy soldiers either lying on the ground or being scared of seeing "decorated" things on the shore. They cannot hold their weapons, not even lift them but can only lie there, waiting to die. We approach the enemy still we're very near them. Slowly, we target all of them by using our bows and arrows, making our faces fearfully while trying to make our tone look fierce when they hear us.

"Hands up! Surrender!". "We have you surrounded, surrender!". "Put your hands out of your weapons, now!". "Step away from your weapons, do move fucking move!". "Move and I will pop your heads, stand down!". - Yelling at them for a while, those soldiers put their hands away from their weapons, they started surrendering us
