Beast World #12: Poisonous Dysfunction

Gharna and Azhul were rushing to the river side and as it came properly into view they began scanning about for Michael.

"Do you see him?" Gharna said snorting heavy huffs from her flat nose after the light, yet long run.

"No- wait... I see his bag, but not him..." after a short pause to scan, Azhul's eyes widened as she let out a panicked squeal. "THERE!" She yelled out as she began rushing over closer towards the river, stabbing her halberd quickly into the dirt and running off without it.

As Gharna stared to where her den sister point she immediately saw Michael floating down the river, only his back exposed to the air as his head, arms and legs were submerged entirely. "Aaaah! Tullex shit!" She swore as she followed after Azhul.

While the slightly shorter sow was catching up, Azhul was already at the river's bank, nearly falling into the water as she was taking off her boots while running and hopping. The large Tuskir woman then dove in the water as she began swimming furiously to him.

As Gharna got closer she began entering the crystal clear water and trudging through it on the shallower edge, keeping as close as possible, for Azhul, who was just now reaching and grabbing Michael from the water, to eventually pass the unconcious human to her.

"What is wrong with him?! Is he bleeding? Any wounds?!" Gharna oinked panicking as Azhul reached her and the two began dragging him back on shore.

"I don't know! He is frozen, I think?! I tried wrapping his arms around me, but they are somewhat stiff." Azhul answered while huffing water out of her snout.

As Michael was dragged on shore, Gharna immediately began to check if he was breathing, he wasn't.

"Ah, truffles!" She yelped while kneeling besides him and not a moment later the sow plugged up his nose and turned his head to the side, covering his lower side of the face entirely with her maw and began blowing four steady breaths into him.

Azhul began searching about frantically. 'What did this? Gods... please don't let it be the water itself, I really don't want to eat a rock.' She thought to herself as she then turned to look at Gharna and Michael.

Her eyes immediately noticed a redness in certain parts of the human's furless skin.

After Gharna repeated the previous process a few times, water leaking from Michael's nose and mouth as she did, she would let out an oink of relief once she felt his breathing coming through. "Oh, thank the Brood Mother..." she panted loudly as she leaned back and landed on her ass and then her back, furred belly up while letting out a few wheezing snorts.

Azhul began looking over Michael seeing the rashes all over as well as a pitched tent in his weird grey colored short pantaloons. 'Stiffness, rashes... his weird snout and cheeks are also red.' The huntress thought as she then reached down to one of his shoulders and slightly rolled him onto his side, now seeing the skin blemish extend around the back and seem to circle around what looked like four even redder spots in the shape of fingers and toes, bulbous at the tips and seemingly connected by a membrane based on shapes.

"Of course..." she groaned as she stood up and began looking around. The 6"3' sow then began croaking and letting out ribbit like sounds.

"Woh? Are you here?! Come out! We need to talk!" Azhul croaked.

Shortly enough from the water plants, not too far off from them, Azhul could see Woh hopping and croaking towards her.

"Mmmyes?" the pastel pink and purple frog said while approaching.

"Do you have anything to say about this?!" Azhul asked with an annoyed snort as she pointed with her full hand at Michael's general direction.

The colored frog stared at the unconcious human laying on his side, blinking one individual eye at a time. "Hmm... Yeeeah... it looks like an erection to me." She said with a tiny squeaked croak before looking at Azhul.

"Woh... please focus. What kind of Amphoran are you?" Azhul said trying to hold back her annoyance.

"Oh! That's easy. Death's Lover." she croaked happily. "Been practicing that one so I don't keep forget how the bigger folk keep calling me."

"AND WHAT DOES A DEATH'S LOVER DO IF SOMEONE TOUCHES YOU?!" She squealed starting to be impatient and annoyed with her air headed amphoran acquaintance.

"Oh! I know that one too! People start to freeze up and their hearts beat like crazy until they stop!" She said putting her hands on her hips a wide smile on her face as she looked at Azhul.

"Did you touch the furless pink one?!" the large tuskir woman asked in croaks as a sense of doom washed over her. 'We are so dead... Urla will have us digging shittin' pits until we end up digging our own graves too...'

"Yeah? Why? Where you hunting it?" Woh asked looking over to the still unmoving Michael.

"NO! He was a guest!" Azhul said as she clapped her palms together and leaned her snout into them.

"OOH! ... Oh... Oh no..." Woh croaked in a prolonged manner as she realized what this meant. "Uhm... sorry... I... was taken by surprise while washing?"

"So you went on to touch him?!" Azhul asked in disbelief.

"No! Well... not at first. I threw pebbles at him, but I kept missing... so I-i got frustrated and I wanted to slap him... I... kind of... forgot I am poisonous..." Woh said with a with an awkward squeak.

Azhul wasn't going to argur anymore, she knew Woh always had memory problems, at the end of the day, something so small could only fit so many thoughts in its head.

Gharna slowly stood back up as she huffed with ease after hearing all the croaking.

"Huff... s-so... what's the situation? Found anything out?"

"Remember Woh?" Azhul asked dead panned.

"Yes?" Gharna asked confused.

"She touched him. So he is as good as dead if not by now, by the time we get back he surely will be."

Gharna immediately could feel her spirit leave her, but rather quickly it seeped back in along with some confusion. "W-wait... his heart sounded... fine. It was a bit fluttery but... it didn't sound too hectic."

The well built shorter sow then leaned back over Michael, checking to see if he was still breathing, listening to his heart... spotting the frog poison induced pitched tent.

"Y-yeah... pfft... he is unconcious, but it looks like he is alive?"

"What?!" Azhul asked as she looked at Gharna with a ray of hope in her eyes.

"Wait?! Really?!" Woh interjected as she began doing the grunts and throat noises akin to the Tuskir's tongue, although not as well as a native speaker. "That means there is someone I won't kill if I hug them?!" She asked with a squeaky croak leaving her gullet that inflated with excitement as she hopped about happily.
